They now have a sugar cone at $3.75, if I recall correctly. They call it a yogurt cone but no yogurt is detected.

I love coming to this IKEA. It's not big nor does it have the full eatery but it's regularly got a lot of promotions and has a lot of products. Just watch out during move in season for the universities in September this place can run low on stock. They regularly have different types of meal promos and they have all the other regular promos like kids eat free Wednesday. They have a small as-is section on the second floor that only seems to get small stuff.

A compact Ikea so don't expect to be able to go home with a new living room. It's a great option for the small things so you don't have to travel out of the core, but unfortunate that when you like something you see in the showroom and want it (furniture-wise), it's likely not available. Veggie plate is okay. Gave me the sustenance to shop so it did it's job!

I am so envious of this IKEA, Montreal really should have a downtown IKEA as well. Well located which essentials and well organized. I needed some bins to put in my kallax bookshelf and I was pleased to see they had all colours and fabrics available at this location. Makes it super easy to grab what you need and walk back to your hotel. Clear sections and tons of choice, they also have self cashiers and a food counter so you can even just pop in for a hot dog!

I love that there's an IKEA that opened right at the heart of downtown Toronto this year! IKEA is bringing life to Shops at Aura, which is a bit of a ghost town. They desperately needed an anchor retail store like Ikea to get more traffic to those small businesses downstairs, especially the food court. I was skeptical that this smaller Ikea location would have much but they have all the essentials well laid out: Including plants, washroom, kitchen and storage section etc. They also have a cafe on the main floor, offering the standard Ikea meals and free coffee during your Ikea visit with your free membership. It's a great addition to the city. It makes it easy to get home inspo while walking downtown without making a special trip. On this visit, I found a new stone planter for a reasonable price.

Normally, I find IKEA to be such an overwhelming experience that I dislike it, but this store is a nice pared-down version that it actually seems manageable! Suburban folks would probably scoff at the downtown size, but this IKEA is catered to condo-dwellers in their 20s and 30s. The store is big enough that you can get a quick bite to eat, although the line can be a little long and the seating in the mezzanine is limited! I want to give one employee a shout-out: thanks to Destiny! I'm not a big IKEA aficionado, so I didn't know how great their return policy was. I bought some home textiles that ended up to be too itchy for me, and thanks to Destiny who helped me at check-out, I knew that I could return them instead of keeping them and being miserable that they that didn't agree with my skin. I came back again the next day to return it and unexpectedly ended up buying more things! Such great customer service.

The grand opening was 2022-05-25. There are located at Yonge and Gerrard, occupying 2 floors of the Aura building. There are 6,200 square meters (or 66,000 sq ft) of shopping space. Ikea started 1943 in Sweden and about 1976 in Canada.  This is their first downtown store so it is more compact and is dubbed XS Store (for eXtra Small). It is considered small when compared to the 4 other full-size Toronto-area stores. They have regular shopping carts, yellow pull carts, and large yellow bags. They are sanitized between use. They are primarily a furniture store for every room of a house or condo, including outdoor patios. A traditional Ikea has a restaurant, a bistro, and a Swedish food market. In this store, it is all combined in a single "Swedish Deli". It support 3 types of dining: indoors, takeout, or groceries for cooking. Swedish Deli on the ground has a different and limited menu for fast meals. There are a few counter seats on the ground floor and many tables on half a floor up. It is designed for downtown people who just want to come for a quick meal indoors or takeout, without having to walk through the entire store to get to it; there is a specialentrance/exit. They have 4 self-order kiosks that have descriptions and ingredients of each item. There are fewer hot food and more cold dishes than their restaurant. They expanded their 6-piece Swedish meatballs ($7.49) to include different versions for the diverse demographic: veggie ($5.49), plant-based ($6.99), and chicken ($8.49). They even have kid versions with plant ($3.99) and chicken ($4.49). They kept low prices for certain items: coffee ($1.00), Nordic fruit water ($1.50), hot dog ($1.00), cinnamon bun ($1.50), frozen yogurt ($2.00), strawberry plant based frozen treat ($2.00). Note: with an Ikea membership card, you get free coffee. Now about non-food shopping (I reviewed the restaurant part first - what did you expect from a foodie?!) You can apply for free Ikea membership where you get specials and points for purchases. These points can be used for purchases. There are 2 ground floor entrance and 1 entrance on the second floor. They have the typical arrow projected onto the floors but the corridors are wide enough that people can go both directions. You can use the Ikea app to scan the bar code of an item to get a description and price. Then you can choose whether to add it to your virtual cart. When you are ready to checkout, it can generate a QR code to scan at special app self-checkout kiosks. This makes it very fast to checkout. Currently they have a single line for regular self-checkout and app checkout. I suggested to a manager that they have separate lines and he loved that idea. They have all their typical departments including areas where you can use a computer to design what your room would look like with their products. There were many staff present to answer questions. There is free WiFi. The store is wheelchair accessible including an elevator go go between the 2 floors. There are separate male/female/family washrooms, all of which are also wheelchair accessible. There is a paid parking lot (enter from Gerrard St) inside the Shops  At Aura complex. Review 2022-066 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

I usually go to this IKEA store for the free coffee per day. Last time I went to get a soup bowl as it's good quality and it's cheap. Restaurant lineup was okay as long as you don't go around 1pm. I found the line up was bad then. I did the self checkout for the bowl as well so I would say it's pretty fast, but no service to comment on. This is the 2nd bowl that I got, I recommend it as it's the perfect size for noodle soup. This IKEA is good for getting the smaller stuff, and just to see how things look. For beds and sofa, you'll have to do shipping probably easier.

    Menu.. ALL OF IT!

Standard ikea, with some fridges for frozen food. But the menu is extremely limited and the kitchen is super small. Line up is like 40 ppl Long for hotdogs... half the menu items are missing... they don't have the hotdog combo 2 dogs and a drink for $2.50. No vegan hotdogs! No frozen desserts of any kind! I'm hoping this will change next week or soon... I really want my vegan dogs, and dessert... the strawberry frozen vegan treat is $2.00 here. Not sure if prices at ikea went up.

We just wanted to see how it looked inside compared to the ikea here in america. It looks the same it is smaller inside though but definitely a great places to visit and buy organization containers or small things here. They had a second floor as well but we didnt go upstairs. The food ordering station was also on the first floor and they had like kiosk screen to order from.

Got the: - Hot Dog ($1) - Waffle Cone Yogurt Dessert ($3) Pros: - Cheap food and furniture - Located downtown - Lots of associates working there so good customer service Cons: - Cafeteria is fairly small - Store is fairly small and therefore doesn't have all the ikea items

This is a nice addition to Yonge St. Yonge St used to be a great stretch from KING to BLOOR (mostly....), a lot has changed and the Main Street is sorely lacking. This is a legit IKEA; I assumed a mini kiosk / takeout setting. Popular immediately and smart location for IKEA.

The Dozy was located on the 2nd floor in a busy area but it was super easy to find. I was greeted by a young man who was working behind a computer but he said hi and asked for my to give a minute while he finished up what he was doing. I decided to try out the beds and really liked the Forest Hill style which has 1100 coils, foam and gel. After the gentleman finished what he was doing he came over and spoke a bit about the product and answered my questions. Short and sweet, how I liked it. I've heard positive things on this mattress and love that they are Canadian and had a little showroom so you can check them out! I'll update my review if I decide to purchase and it is very likely I will

Wow. I ordered this mattress Wednesday night and it was delivered Friday evening…read more I've ordered other mattresses online before and was very happy, but didn't want to spend the same on my spare bedroom. I saw the sign for a $299 queen sized walking down the street and it caught my attention. No way could they do that. I checked out the site and some reviews and orders the level up from their base model. It came in around $500 delivered! They do make a third level that people rave about, but I didn't think it was necessary for my guests who typically only stay a night or 2, totaling 10-15 nights a year. Delivery was fast and efficient. Their delivery guys were friendly and clean. If you need a mattress for your own room, get the top of the line. (Still cheaper than most other brands). Spare bedroom, second tier. Cottage, dorm room or first place on your own, get the entry level! You can't go wrong for the price. Especially delivered!!!! Keep up the good work dozy!

DO NOT BUY FROM SLEEP COUNTRY - IT'S A RIP-OFF! I purchased…read morean extremely expensive pillow from Sleep Country after being assured by the salesperson that it was "top of the line" and would help resolve my ongoing neck issues. I was even given a five-year guarantee -- which I later discovered only applies if the pillow physically falls apart. In other words, unless the pillow disintegrates in your hands, you're out of luck. What they never disclosed during the sale -- and what I only found out after trying to return it -- is that ALL SALES ARE FINAL the moment you walk out of the store. I was stunned when I tried to return it and was told, verbatim: "The minute the customer walks out the door, they own it fully. We do not accept any returns." They attempted to justify this by claiming "Ministry of Health Guidelines" prohibit them from accepting returns -- a total fabrication. There are no posted warnings, no official Ministry labels, and no disclosure at the point of sale. Just a blanket "not our problem" attitude once they have your money. This is a classic bait-and-switch. You're sold a dream with misleading promises, only to discover their fine print protects them, not you. There is zero accountability, zero customer service, and zero transparency. BUYER BEWARE: If you're shopping at Sleep Country, don't believe a word their salespeople say unless it's in writing. And if you value your money, take it somewhere else -- this place is nothing short of a Scam

I had a good experience at this store…read more I was going to order online but instead thought I'd ask a few questions before making the purchase. I received good and knowledgeable responses and advice, and elected to make the order through the store rather than online. It was an easy process. (I ultimately picked up the mattress instead of opting for free delivery since delivery was booking out farther than we would have liked.) The actual mattress we chose - The Bloom Cloud - is super comfy and we are pleased with the quality. The mattress comes compressed in the box and you can easily set it up on your own. It is also feels really light once open, which makes moving it around and making the bed easy. I would shop here again and would recommend this store.
