Mussels with a Vino bianco, herbs and filone toast for the appetizer and the Ricotta Cavatelli (alla mema) with broken meatballs and sausage sugo. Good grief the vino bianco/herb cream sauce on the mussels was incredible! Really! I could not get enough of it. I don't believe we've ever seen mussels on their menu, but man! These were phenomenal! The only complaint would be that there were not enough of the mussels. The ricotta cavatelli was also amazing... as are all of Viaggio's pasta dishes and sauces. Gelato stawberry/maple gelato was maybe the best gelato I've ever had. Not sure if they have this on their 'normal' menu, but if they do, I'm going to need some more. My wife had the Seafood Marechiara which she enjoyed. I opted for the Chicken scampi over a mushroom/brown risotto. The risotto was very good, but the chicken breast was too well done... not tender at all. What saved the dish was that the risotto was 'saucy' enough to help moisten up the chicken.
