Malgorzata describes her establishment as "an eclectic gallary and boutique with handmade clothing, accessories and much more." Within its walls can be found artisan gifts of handmade jewelry; unique mobiles & clocks; purses, clothing, scarves and hats; musical wall art; pottery; baskets; and beautiful woven clothing made by Malgorzeta herself. The loom is on the premises so you can see what she's creating. (Malgorzeta has 20 years of weaving experience.) Art pieces on site rotate out so new artists are featured; over 200 artists are represented. If there's something you want, but can't find in the shop, just ask; she's happy to order it for you if she's able. (I am currently awaiting a stylish handbag in a color she didn't carry.) Prices are reasonable for the quality; the vast array of different styles of art are appreciated; & this well lit, spotless captivating gem is so deserving of not only a visit, but many return trips! ....................... Every visit is wonderful, they're both so personable and attentive, and the unique finds are phenomenal. Each visit is at least a 1.5 to 2- hour ordeal as I gab away and meticulously go through each rack (and most times double back). Madewell, J Crew, Urban Outfitters-- oh my! ...and in Gainesville, FL?! I stan. No matter when I visit, there's always something (basically everything) rare and wonderful in this store, and also I run across an amazing shoe or two. Weddings, events, and whatever-- I know I can always find some fabulous piece at Urban. The time and attention put into buying and restocking is clear and evident. The prices are great, and the sales are even better. I have run into some store hour issues post-Covid, but I am also and regrettably aware of a few health issues that make it so. I truly hope to always have this store to visit when I'm in the area. It's become a must-stop, and amazing treat that I look forward to when I'm in town. I have a hard time picking flattering styles out for myself and I quickly found that Sheila, my salesgirl, has a good eye and was able to put together numerous outfits for me that look and feel great on. The clothing is quite pricy but I think you get your money's worth. Drapes beautifully, feels good, looks elegant and sophisticated. I am still in love with these clothes 2 months later! This acrid interaction was enough for me to simply put the clothing back and leave. Immediately after exiting the shop, the open signs were pulled in...15mins early. TL:DR: Excellent selection of clothing, ranging from casual chic to nice flowey formal pieces. The staff are, ironically, not down to Earth and not very pleasant or attentive.

Lilly likes to design in pastels that have prints or patterns and can seem a bit flamboyant. Their fit is usually perfect. I love them because with just a couple of pieces you and mix and match into several outfits. This location the sales personnel are a bit too laid back. I had wished they'd shown me around and made suggestions but I was on my own.

What they lack in fashion progression, though, they make up by having solid separates that can really pull an outfit together. Take, for example, one of my Christmas presents, exhibit A that fradulently calls itself a "jegging" but is really just denim-colored stretch pants with a rubber waistband that will simultaneously give me a circular rash and Mom Butt. I needed longer tops to cover up in the back. The stores in the mall let me down. I wasn't sure I'd be able to wear the pants in public, but voila, Cato to the rescue with a long, cowl-neck top, and a gorgeous gray sweater coverall! $42 for the pair, which is less than single items I saw elsewhere. The biggest complaint I have about this store is that the items can be pretty inconsistent--you can go from stuff that's fairly on trend one season to very odd selections in the next--and that the items on the mannequins are all severely clamped to give them an "hourglass" appearance. This can be pretty aggravating when you latch onto a dress that seemingly looks perfect, only to find that it's cut more like a postal mailing carton than a silhouette.
