First, this is not an easy location to find. The signage directing you to which building in the complex you are supposed to go to is unclear. Its the building with the ramp that sits on facing on the road. 2nd, parking was hard to come by. i circled a while before finding a spot near the building. there are lots surrounding the block but that's a hassle especially for anyone with a disability. 3rd after all of that..when i walked in there was a big sign that said the office was closed to any additional claimants, this was at 11:30 am mid week. Apparently they only take so many winners and then close for the day. A waste of a couple hours of my time. Save yourself some time, mail your ticket via certified USPS. I got my check in less than a week. read more

It is not possible to pay for a lucky day lotto subscription of $14 at once. They deduct each draw to confuse and steal money from your account. I was already charged $2 for midday and evening draw on 02/24/2019 than they robbed be of another $1 at 02/24/2019 at 12:47pm for the same numbers and again at 02/24/2019 at 9:18pm for them same numbers. This was after i wasted my valuable time talking to customers service on 02/24/2019 and was told and lied to that it would never deduct to much and would be notified when I had insufficient funds. these people do a pretty good job and your wait , at least for a smaller prize like $1000 or $2000 , is going to be under 30 minutes. Must have a photo ID and your actual Soc Security card....they don't pay w/o those.... If you have any kind of payment or parking ticket due the state, it is about 90% certain they will know , and will hold that amount out of your winnings. Claim center in Des Plaines was packed and had a totally inefficient and stupid process. Find a clipboard and fill it out, no direction by any employees. People were stuffed in like sardines with a wait time of 2 to 3 hrs to get a check. Some lady kept coming out and stating "I have an announcement." Trying to get people to leave instead of making any effort to get people paid. Telling people they will get a check in 3 weeks. Everyone behind the counters were totally clueless on how to do their jobs. And now the best part.....It was packed with people COUGHING and SNEEZING all over the place in the middle of a PANDEMIC for COVID-19. I play the lottery but it is kind of strange that the SAME STORE for yesterdays power ball had both a $1 million and $2 million dollar ticket winners on the same drawing. Does someone know something before the drawing or did the machine not get locked out. Need to check at what time the tickets were purchased.
