I would give 0 stars if I could. I purchased a belly button ring aprox a week ago & it broke within two days of wearing it. It wasn't an easy fix even if I would've tried! Anyways, so I called them and told the guy the issue and he was brief and a little rude but managed to tell me if I came in he'd let me switch it out for a new one. Well, a day later (I live 40 minutes away) I make my way there & this man is very abrupt and loud explaining to me that I spoke with him & he wasn't going to allow this. I nicely told him I drove 40 minutes to come and get a different one and spent way too much for a piece of jewelry that broke. He finally (after cussing) let me swap it for a new one and as I was about to leave he said "I don't want that shit, so get out of here.". Super super bad customer service & bad product. The guy who helped me was super chill. He was pretty savvy with knowing the products. I wasn't pressured at all to buy which is a huge deal to me. The prices were a bit on the high side but when I commented on it, he immediately got on the phone to call his boss and ask for a break on price. So I came in and bought a new vape cus mine was toast. I had $47 cash after I made a deposit into my checking account and pulled $100 out of my savings. I work in cash handling so my arithmetic skills are very sharp. I had counted my cash twice before going in and once at the counter so I'm 100% sure I had $147. Ray was the man running store and the total came to $150, told me I was good on the $3 and I averted my attention from the cash as I turned to walk out the store. He then stops me and says I only have $127. I couldn't prove he swiped a $20 bill when I looked away but I tracked my cash flow statements and verified the amount I had that evening. You stole from me and after talking to other people they have had similar experiences at a place called illusions expect them to pull some slide of hand shit. The graditude and the professionalism of this store is uncompared! I've been to many establishments in rocklin and Roseville this one by far is the best. I recently invested in a water pipe perc. I was very pleased with my purchase wich sadly had a crack in it I had noticed after I left the store. I was pissed and figured I probably was not going to get any sympathy from them, it was 2 days later when I actually took it back. I don't buy glass really, mainly hookah shisha and charcoal, maybe papers and blunts on occasion, so that is my main focus with this review. Prices are on par with online stores for Starbuzz so screw waiting for shipping as well as paying for shipping... I know Starbuzz is kind of the defacto choice for most shops but I hope the owner gets more of the old school stuff in Stock eventually. I saw he carries Tangiers as well so that's a plus in my book but looking forward to more AL fahker in the future. But my main reason for the 5 stars is the guys work ethics. Small business owners all know you need to step your customer service up of you want to compete with the big guys, and I like this man. Remembers his regulars, very polite and personable, and that's enough to earn my 5 stars. I'm not putting down ALL the other chain smoke shops because there are some good ones, but I grow tired of owners who can't control their employees who are busy dicking around with their ecigs and talking about personal matters in front of waiting customers than to simply give them what they want promptly with a friendly demeanor. Been coming here for a while buying hookah accessories shisha tobacco and coals. I went in there recently and bought some hookah that he recommended he said "this shit has great flavor" lol well he definitely over exaggerated that i took it home packed a bowl and started it up immediately it tasted HORRIBLE and i knew i was 1 throwing it away and saying screw it ill just buy a new can later or giving him a call to see what he could do. Well i called and i told him that it tasted like crap and asked him if i could possibly switch it with another can. He said no to that but offered that i come in and he would give me a free can of a smaller 100G container of some hookah. I still lost money on it but i don't think any other smoke shop would ever do this for anyone i wont ever go anywhere else. Side note he did warn me that he would never do it again because obviously if he did he would run out of business so no i don't recommend that if you get a crappy hookah flavor from him don't take it back.
