Cappuccino

Illy cafe opened in late 2023 and has become a relatively popular spot in the area. The interior is a wide open space with a unique "Coffee Cup Chandelier" hanging from the ceiling. Despite being fairly popular, there is always enough seating here and WiFi works great. One challenge that the cafe has is in air conditioning realm. It seems that way too often, the cafe's AC stops working. In the summer heat of Georgia, that creates a bit of a miserable environment inside for both the guests and the staff. Thus, this needs to be revisited. When it comes to coffee beverages, they are all very solid from lattes to cappuccinos, served in the signature illy mugs with a neat little touch of a spoon. The spoon adds that tiny bit of elegance that most coffee shops don't have. Another area where illy cafe does really well is comfortable seating. These days, as many coffee shops try to prioritize design over comfort, having a chair with an actual back to it is a big deal. Lastly, a surprising element, particularly in Atlantic Station, is how clean the cafe is. The team here does a rather excellent job at it, which cannot be said about most other food and beverage businesses in the plaza that have a certain grade of natural filth to them.

Pistachio Croissant

I got the Pistachio Croissant pastry which was decent - I appreciated that the pistachio filling was plentiful, but the croissant itself fell a bit flat compared to other bakeries. It tasted more bread-y than buttery, as in, it felt like the croissant could've been taken from a grocery store bakery. The croissant is reasonably priced in comparison to some of their other ones - the crookie was going to come out to ~$8! This one was ~$5. Objectively a bit steep for a pastry, but I think it's market price. I had a bit of an odd encounter at checkout. I asked if I could pay in cash, and the employee said sure! I handed her money, expecting some change back, but she closed the register and promptly began packing my pastry to-go. I thought that she just forgot and was too focused on getting the pastry ready. When I was given the croissant, I asked her if they gave change, and she said oh sorry, we don't have change. I brushed it off and ultimately it's not that big of a deal, but in my head I just thought it was a bit odd. I felt like that should've been made clear upfront, whether by her or with a sign. Parking in the garage is easy and free up to 2 hours.

I'm unfortunately disappointed with my illy experience. I've heard good things about the coffee and cafe space. I like that the menu includes savory food like sandwiches and pasta and that their pastry/dessert menu has delicious looking and sounding items. They are somewhat overpriced. The new viral crookie (croissant+cookie) was at least $5, and they ask whether you want yours toasted. The line and wait was long, and the lavender mint latte wound up being mid. The small was almost $5-6. It was packed; tables and chairs were cramped toward the windows. There's a few long community tables. The tables were also not clean with crumbs and sticky spots. There's at least 2 bathrooms. Their ordering line could have been more organized because there's two cashiers at the end but also one in the middle. Service could have been friendlier instead of staring at the people in line. They call your name when your order is ready. There is a paid parking lot for Atlantic Station but free for the first 2 hours.

I don't want to give them 1 - star to be fair. I didn't get to even try my food. I ordered the buy 1 get 1. Wanted to get breakfast for me and my colleague. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I ordered double protein- turkey bacon and to have it on a biscuit. I ordered through Uber Eats. When J got my food, i realized I got one biscuit and one on toast. Not what I ordered. And then the worst part, when I went to eat the biscuit I see there is pork bacon and turkey bacon on it. I DO NOT eat pork. I double checked my receipt to make sure I didn't make a mistake and I didn't. So I couldn't even eat it. Thankfully my colleague ate pork and I didn't have to waste all this food. I am open to trying them again. Maybe in person next time.

Illy! Cute cafe vibes with delicious food and drink options. They also serve alcohol beverages, get yourself an Aperol Spirts. We went on a Sunday after for brunch. The table ordered multiple things. I had the lunch prosciutto Sammy. It was pretty busy when we were there but there was no wait on the beverages. The food came out shortly after. I will say my Sammy was delicious however it was pretty dry, I'd suggest they'd offer some Olive oil as well. Everyone was happy with their food though. The workers were friendly too and the inside was fairly clean.

Very tasty experience! I was kind of wishing I'd ordered an iced coffee but everything I had was delicious. This is a great little coffee shop at Atlantic Station. Would go here over other popular coffee shops.

This place is newer, but definitely stands out. If you're tired of Starbucks or Panera, this is something that gives you options and a completely different vibe. They have a full menu of several different options that aren't priced too bad. I got myself an espresso and a bagel. Really simple I was a bit confused walking in. It looks small on the outside and kinda takes you by surprise when you finally do enter it. And it's still small but not as small as you think. I see people here all the time. Socializing or remote work. I didn't have a chance to see if they have a happy hour menu for quick wine or simple cocktails. The staff was very friendly. And if I remember correctly the person ringing me out has the same name as me! TWIN! I went early in the morning but I can image this place gets BUSY! keep that in mind when you do check it out

So excited I finally got to try this place!! I came after the PNC Atlanta 10 miler so the wait was definitely longer than usual so I don't think it's always long but it's so worth!! I got the pumpkin spice latte and the chocolate chip cookie dough croissant and just yum!! My latte was perfect and that has to the most croissant flavor I've ever had. 10/10!!

Main area

PROS - Cute cafe with cute little pastures and coffee cheaper than STBX. The decor reminds me of the illy vibe in EU. CONS - Customer Service says WE DONT WANT TO BE HERE! I know there are so many factors in today's world but a simple smile goes a long way. Cute little cafe that is often dirty. I had to wait for a table to be cleared then clean my own table including the floor. They should bend down and take a look as well. I don't like when the money is handling the food and hair is everywhere

I tried the Lavender Mint Iced Latte with oat milk, and it was delicious! The lavender and mint flavors were distinct and refreshing. They offer a great selection of pastries as well. We shared a matcha strawberry cake that had a wonderful mix of textures. The matcha flavor was strong and enjoyable, though the pistachios on top seemed a bit old.

Food: phenomenal Service: great and friendly Ambiance: clean, nice and chill This is a wonderful new addition to Atlantic Station. I went here because they have the viral cookie dough croissant and it did not disappoint. This pastry was DELICIOUS AND ADDICTIVE! If you want one, I suggest going to Illy when they first open or ordering it online to secure your pastry. If not, it might sell out for the day before you get there. It's quite reasonably priced for less than $5 each considering that it tastes like a baked piece of heaven. If you're longing for more than that, they have a variety of coffees, beverages and meal options. You can park close to the movie theatre and find it. It's also in close proximity to Publix as well. Make sure you stop by here to treat yourself after a movie or fun day of shopping.

We got a croissant and a caramel cream cold brew! We loved it! They warmed up the croissant for us which indeed enhanced the taste. The staff is friendly and nice and have a good amount of pastries to pick from! A great place to study or work from. It is located in Atlantic Station and has two hours of free parking. It is clean and the place is spacey.

Visiting Lala in ATL. It's raining and I need a warm up! I've had delicious illy coffee before but never in an illy Caffé! Brightly lit, open concept seating area; plenty of space to sit and take load off. Greeted warmly by the barista =D. They have a good variety of lattes to choose from. Good variety of pastries as well!! Bestie wanted to try the pistachio croissant dipped in matcha icing, bomb delicious!! I had an almond rose latte, which was warm delicious yet mild. Bestie had the matcha latte which she said was good just needed to be hotter. So let them know, if you like it piping hot straight up! Parking structure and shopping within close proximity. Great spot for catch up with a warm up. Hey hey, it's illy Caffé!! Come check it!

Good coffee, although a bit expensive. $5 for a small cappuccino, but it was quite good! Usually busy inside at the tables.

I circled the block before I found street parking about a block away from the coffee shop. Because it was a weekday morning, I wasn't surprised that the streets were busy and parking didn't end up costing too much. After a brief walk, I approached the building and first impressions were fantastic. Daydreamer is connected to an apartment building and the aesthetics are on point. Like, this place is gorgeous! There was way more seating than I expected, inside of the cafe, outside on the terrace, and inside of the attached leasing office. There were a number of tables, booths and even comfy couches to lounge on. Electrical outlets weren't plentiful, but I eventually snagged a booth that had a plug. Yay! There seemed to only be one menu at the front and it said 'please don't take', lol. So I stayed very close to the register as I read the menu, but I'm hoping they just ran out or my 4-eyed self missed the larger menu on display. I decided to go with the sugar graham hot latte w/ oatmilk and one of their pastries. The employee behind the counter was really patient and so kind to every customer, he was running that counter like the navy. 5-stars for him! I see why this place is such a hit among other Yelpers. I'll be back to enjoy the great coffee and good vibes!

She was so friendly and also gave great suggestions from their menu. She was the only person working because we came in the middle of the day. There were a decent amount of customers but the service was quick and efficient. I have to give her her flowers, she was the icing on top of a great experience. This has got to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shops I have ever seen. In addition to the gorgeous midcentury modern decor, there is a ton of seating available. I believe the coffee shop is attached to the apartment building, so the theme runs between both large seating areas. It was so cool! My matcha was delicious! I ended up going with the Morning Matcha (Lavender and White Chocolate, I added oat milk) and it did not disappoint! The prices were on par with other coffeehouses in the midtown ATL area. I did not have a chance to try the pastries but hopefully next time! Overall, this was a great experience! I look forward to visiting soon. Parking can be difficult in midtown so be mindful of that when visiting. Definitely a great place to study and get some work done if needed. Happy Eating!!

When I look for a coffee shop to newly get addicted to, environment is very important to me. So the concept of this place -- Store where there is quality coffee in the corner. It would be amazing to have the opposite -- an amazing coffee shop with quality things to buy. Until that happens, I'll appreciate this though. They focus on New Orleans/Louisiana style drinks for their signatures, but they have all the lattees and fancy macciatos available for the coffee snobs like me. I enjoyed their New Orleans style coffee and it was a good blend of spices yet not too strong. My cousin got a cappaccino which had pretty coffee art. This isn't the place to go if you're on a type of diet needing to alter ingredients to make it fit. Just throwing that out there. Their New Orleans style coffee comes pre-made. They have other options, but don't try to get their signature items. Note, they do have seating. Like one table and some bar stools, but that counts right? I don't believe it was near an outlet to do some work, but it wasn't too busy. I would ask a study group to meet me here, but it would be risky since there is not a lot of options if another group is already there.

The diner itself isn't fancy, and the tables could use some consistent cleaning and clearing. You get plastic tableware and napkins on your own.
