Was wanting to check out a new coffee shop in the area and was just blown away to find this cute shop right in the Franklin Park/Kendall Park area. Upon entering it's like I was transported to another part of the world. Just the beautiful and regal gold decor and against a simple clean white furniture caught my eye. Enjoyed a delicious Hejaz 'cardamom' latte with sweet pastries. I had an almond croissant and ordered a chicken pastry which they ran out of and they suggested subbing it with a spinach cheese with chili oil. This was quite yummy! Service was fine, staff was nice. Food took a bit of time to come out but worth the wait. Will certainly be back!! read more

Really liked this placed upon walking in and looking at the menu, but it was a huge letdown because of the service. I ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap and waited 32minutes for it, and had to keep checking on it too. Good customer service would be the baristas coming to tell me sorry it is taking so long. Then midway i ordered another sandwich because they forgot to ring up this sandwich for the other person i came with. I asked them how long it would take and they said 5 minutes because the sandwich just had to be warmed. It took ten minutes and it was not warm. It was refrigerated temp cold. If the machines are not working they need to disclose that to the customer. Just be transparent so the customer can make an informed decision about what to order. We were the only two people there by the way. Because the second sandwich was cold, we didnt eat it and the to-go container was too small for it. I understand things happen and this is no reflection on the baristas that were working that day, however just be transparent with your customers. This is a good learning lesson is all. At the end they were kind about it but only after asking us if we liked everything. A bit of awareness and you should be able to tell its sub par service when a sandwich takes half hour at an empty cafe. The music i loved what they chose to play, however it was the same three songs on replay. I found that annoying, idk maybe thats just me. Also i was intrigued by the Avocado Toast, and its priced quite high, but its just avocado, feta, and some seasoning. Not worth the price. If there were some tomatoes and other things on it that would be a better menu option. Ok the good stuff... I had the lavender maple latte with cold foam and it was delicious, however $10. Thats expensive. The signature latte i tried also and it is good, very cardamom forward. The chicken caesar wrap was delicious and i got buffalo sauce on the side which was a good combo. I would for sure order this again. The space is nice and spacious lots of seating and comfy seating. I like there is a variety of seats, some round some square tables. And comfy lounge chairs by a fireplace. And a free water station is so nice. - After watching their opening journey online and their opening being delayed from last year to beginning of this year, im glad i got to finally try it! I dont live in this area but if i am around here again it's definitely worth to stop by there again. read more

Walked in with very high expectations because of how many good things l've heard about this place. However, I was a little let down. Ordered the strawberry matcha, and while the matcha was definitely more authentic tasting, the strawberry aspect tasted very artificial, which made it difficult to finish the drink. Also got the dragonfruit refresher, which definitely lived up to the name, and we really enjoyed the dragonfruit taste. We also got the mango tres leches, which while the mango tasted great, overall it was okay and did not really stand out. I will say it seems like a great place to do work, with many outlets. read more

We came here for a snack for the first time and was pleasantly surprised how delicious the Hejaz Latte with house-made cardamom syrup was. All their cold foams and syrups are housemade by the way. Soothing, comforting and velvety! I paired it with a spinach pastry which was also delectable. Then they asked if i wanted it warmed without me prompting them--nice initiative! This place is very beautiful. Bright white and gold decor. Much bigger than I thought it would be from outside. What we ordered: - Baklava Latte - Vanilla Bean Matcha with Brown Butter Cold Foam Both drinks were fine but the Baklava drink wasn't what we expected. It was just a regular latte with some chopped pistachios in it. I think we were expecting some phyllo pieces or the taste of honey/syrup. The menu looked cool and we would come back to try more items. read more

This place is newly opened and is exactly what the area needs. Hejaz is such a warm environment with plenty of seating and a beautiful interior. I would highly recommend coming here, grabbing a coffee & pastry and just enjoying your time in a beautiful place. Theres plenty of outlets as well. The owners are great and personable too. I got the dubai chocolate brownie, mango guava cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie, and white chocolate spiced cookie. Everything was AMAZING! For coffee, I got the Hejaz Latte (my favorite), spiced honey latte, and vanilla bean latte. All were amazing. I can't wait to come back and try new food & drink options. read more

Their lattes are amazing, and you can taste the care and quality. What really stood out to me was their kindness and generosity -- my sister-in-law absolutely loves their homemade cardamom syrup for her coffee at home, and since she can't find any coffee shop near her that makes it nearly as good, they generously gave us some to take home for her. That level of customer care is rare these days. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and it's clear they genuinely appreciate their customers. Always excited to hit up a new coffee shop in Central Jersey. Short line to order at the counter but it took awhile. After ordering our drinks, we sat so long waiting for it that I almost forgot I ordered it. Finally heard our number being called out...A37. Went to the counter and they were just starting to make it. Also disappointed that it was not served in a mug with some latte art work. Nope, it was served in paper cups. I just assumed because I saw lots of mugs behind the counter. I got the Pistachio White Mocha (good) and my friend got the Hejaz Latte. I took a sip of his and we both thought it was too sweet but I did like the cardamon. Also got the Trilogy Chocolate dessert. It was alright. It didn't make me go Mmmm. This spot is alongside a strip where the other businesses look kind of dated. Plenty of parking. read more

The best new coffee/chai spot in the area! The cafe is spacious and well lit, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. They currently have a limited menu but all the drinks I've tried have been delicious! The staff/owners are extremely kind and welcoming and I appreciate the rewards program too.
