One of the best mango Matcha's ! Delicious matcha with an extensive menu and wonderful options to customize. The cutest photo op place and they had a Polaroid wall to add a Polaroid to it that they take of you there. It was so cute and loved the vibes. Very popular and quick service. read more

Came all the way from NY to try Junbi and sadly, it did not live up to the hype. I had high hopes for both the drinks and riceball and although the drinks were good, it was not phenomenal. The riceball on the other hand was just terrible. It was mold into a triangle and a seaweed was provided so you can DIY yourself. Once I took the riceball out of the bag, everything fell apart. Usually character collabs are only in the west coast so I was soo excited to see that there was a Miffy collab on the east coast that's not in New York. I got the orange creamsicle matcha latte and my partner got the blended orange creamsicle. Many times when there's a collab company's won't put in too much thought and use the name to sell product but I could tell there was a lot of thought put in. The offerings were unique and worked well together - never thought orange and matcha could complement each other. Soft serve is matcha perfect! I've not been able to get past ordering other items on the menu other than the the soft serve. This soft serve has a great matcha flavor that really comes through even with a cold taste. As far as the sweetness level, it's just perfect to complement the matcha. Each serving is also a solid portion leaving you not wanting much more. I'd like to try other items on the menu because there are other items I'd like to try that look just as perfect. They also have a limited selection of popular Doughnut Plant doughnuts as well. They didn't identify them as such in my first visit but I clearly recognized them, given the fact I've had more than my fair share. On my visits, staff service was pleasant with good advice. Cons: old/stiff boba add on that was borderline unpalatable Visited on a weekday early afternoon to grab a drink while walking around with a friend. I ordered the hojicha latte with pearls and 70% sugar, which came out quickly. The drink itself was good and I enjoyed how Junbi offered hojicha varieties on top of the standard matcha. However the bubbles that I paid extra for were not edible, as they were hard in the center still. I get wary of bubble tea places I'm not familiar with because not all places make good tapioca balls (bubbles) - sometimes they are too soft or too hard, and it ruins the experience. Phew - this is not the case here! The bubbles are soaked in this delicious syrup - I was really pleasantly surprised. This place has a great variety of matcha drink selections, which I'm not really into. They have free wifi and decent amount of seating but can be filled up as they get busy sometimes. The cashiers are always so kind and if you go before 10am, drinks are half off!! Really liked the soft serve with strawberry syrup. Wish the syrup wasn't so warm/hot though since the soft serve came largely melted. Can only guess that it's the syrup at fault. Quality matcha. Really liked it. I got the rose matcha milk tea with lychee topping, subbed in oat milk. Seems like they used real lychee so that was interesting. Good Rose flavor but I don't think it's for me. The combo of rose water and oat milk made it more watery than I would like. Just opt for milk or just be aware this drink is on the more watery side. Mixed in some soft serve and it was a lot better. Edit: revisited the menu and seems like the latte options are the way to go if you're looking for a more milk forward drink. Really nice interior and ample seating. Get: A Matcha Strawberry with oatmilk Everytime I'm in Princeton, I make sure to stop by and get a matcha beverage at Junbi. The interior is brightly decorated and there is a good amount of seating. It's a great place to get some studying done. Their drinks are subtly sweet in a great way and there are a ton of options. Their matcha is quality is very good. Every beverage I've had here has been great. I've tried the onigiri flight here and will say it is okay (not great). The other thing I've been meaning to try is their matcha soft serve. Great matcha from here! Would highly recommend the strawberry matcha and almond jelly. The new taro vanilla matcha drink is also quite good- a bit too heavy on the vanilla imo but great taro flavor. The boba quality isn't the most consistent (there have been a few times where it was on the harder side of chewy) but is great on a good day. Drinks tend to be on the sweeter side (even if you order less sugar level) so be aware of that. Service is fast and the guy at the counter today was super nice and helpful! I love the balance of the strawberry with the matcha. The matcha flavor is pretty light but you get the distinct bitterness from the matcha after each sip. I love that the strawberry part tastes a bit like a classic strawberry jam and lightly sweetens the tea. The boba was perfectly QQ! Vibes: - plenty of seating for studying or grabbing some drinks with friends - good lighting and inside and plenty of sunshine coming in from the window in the front - AC is on a bit too high for me - music is on pretty loud - I came here a few months ago and the place was cleaner! If you are not a fan of drinks being overly sweet, ordering with no sugar is the best fit. But at my last visit, the boba was extremely overcooked and so mushy that I didn't want to finish my drink I thought it was just that one day, but after talking to my foodie friends, they mentioned how their tea was watered down and that their boba was too chewy. Unfortunately, I think my expectations were just too high because I didn't think my experience was that great. My boyfriend got the strawberry matcha with boba and the strawberry was so overpowering that we couldn't even taste the matcha tea. I got the madagascar vanilla matcha with boba; I think it was okay. Again, the flavor kind of took over the matcha tea. I wish there was more of a balance. Lastly, we tried their spam & egg rice ball. It was so small and it was probably 75% rice and 25% filling. The strawberry chrysanthemum tea was really good--definitely recommend on a hot day! The floral notes complemented the strawberry flavor, yet it wasn't too sweet.
