I was going to be traveling a lot over the summer and so a monthly membership didn't feel like the right fit, but the cost per class for the punch pass didn't feel worth it to me. So I decided against joining even though it was a good workout. Fast forward to January 2023, I received an email inviting me back to try the workout out again. I signed up for another class and had a phone conversation with one of the employees (Kelly?) discussing the various options. During this call, prices were not discussed. I came into the class and the prices were shown and explained, along with the packages. They require you to buy their HR monitor and gloves, which I wasn't super interested in because I already own three HR monitors and can see my HR in real time on my Apple Watch. The pricing did not feel competitive to me - I believe the package I had been planning on was now $19/class for ~30 minute classes. I believe I can get a much better value for my money elsewhere. Kelly was very pushy that I select the package I wanted before the workout and when I told her I had to think about whether it would fit into my budget she seemed very unhappy and guilted me about this being my second free workout. I probably should have just walked out then but I had already given up half my lunch break driving there and having the conversation so I did the workout and left with no plans to return. Again, I like the workout (it's a great amount of cardio packed into 30 minutes and I'm definitely sore after) but I do not like the sales tactics and the guise of being invited back to try the workout again only to be bombarded and guilted upon not being ready to sign a contract that day. I just wouldn't expect that sort of treatment from a locally owned business.

I've been working out at 9Round for a year and a half now and can't recommend it enough! Workouts…read moreare varied day to day and challenging but modifiable for all abilities. They're each only 30 minutes long, but you get a full body workout and won't be able to finish without breaking a sweat! The program is HIIT style with lots of cardio and core work, and you need only minimal equipment (hand wraps and gloves, which you can get when you join). Since the initial pandemic closures, they've been able to safely reopen with new protocols in place, but they also now offer a vast library of virtual workouts that you can complete remotely on your own time as well as live Zoom workouts with the trainers a few times a week. I've been taking advantage of these options and working out from the comfort of my own home or even while traveling. I miss the trainers and their encouragement and assistance, but I appreciate everything the club has done to help members stay connected and enthusiastic about their fitness!

Absolutely love this place!…read more My best friend and I signed up for a year and we've been going at least once a week. The workouts are different everytime you go so it never gets boring and the instructors are always super fun! Everyone who attends the class is always super nice so it just feels like one big family.

I participated in the 6-week challenge and what had everything to be a wonderful experience ended…read moreup being a nightmare. The challenge is not free they charge a $499 deposit to guarantee your participation, in my case to pressuring me to join the challenge they offered me to participate for "just" $399. The goal of the challenge was to lose 6% body fat and I will have personalized nutrition and training plan, my personal coach will accompany me and guide me through the entire process of getting in shape and have the accountability. And at the end of the 6 weeks if I lost 6% body fat they would give me my money back ($399) I thought ok having my money back is a great incentive and motivation to help me win the challenge, so I decided to participate. They promptly gave me a contract to sign, in the contract there were several clauses and some really confusing points, but they were super friendly in explaining to me that I shouldn't worry as the contract was only to guarantee my health during the process and that the requirements of posting photos on Facebook and joining Facebook groups was completely optional, it was just a way to keep the group motivated and the challenge more fun. So I decided to sign the contract, they never gave me a copy of the contract, instead they gave me a sheet of paper with a QR code leading to the Facebook group. At this point they reinforced to me that active participation on Facebook was completely optional, as well as taking photos of before and after the challenge, which they never did either. Innocently I thought okay that sounds great. The challenge began and I realized that there was no personalized nutrition plan but the same plan for all participants, which at the time didn't bother me too much as I managed to follow the plan successfully, but it is something they promise and promote as part of the challenge. I also realized that there is no coach who will be your "best friend" in the program as they also promise and promote. So I successfully completed the challenge and achieve my goal I lost 16lbs and 6.5% body fat. I was beaming, super happy for having managed to overcome the challenge even without all the guidance promised. My coach then called me to the final meeting where she congratulated me on my achievement but however I would not receive my money back as the contract I signed and which they never gave me a copy of said that I agreed to post photos and check in on Facebook and I hadn't done this every week. I went into shock, how could they be using this as an excuse to not fulfill their promised part of the challenge if they were the ones who informed me in the first place that this interaction on Facebook was optional? Do you really think that if I had all the commitment and discipline to lose 16 pounds in 6 weeks that I wouldn't have the same to post some images on Facebook if I knew it was something mandatory to do? They knew from the beginning that having my money back was a great motivation for me and that's why they deceived me and created this trap to have an excuse not to return my money. When I asked why they didn't inform me that these posts were mandatory they simply said "but it's in the contract" I didn't even have a copy of the contract and they told me several times that the posts were just for fun and motivation. Although I have lost all this weight and probably improved my physical health, my mental health is completely destroyed, I'm extremely depressed for having been tricked like that in such a cruel way, I can't stop feeling guilty for having believed in such dishonest people. So it wasn't worth My purest and most sincere advice is to stay away from this place, the coaches that I had the displeasure of meeting here are cruel and inhumane people, they see you just as a bag of money, not as a human being and they will do everything possible to trick you and get your money from you. I signed the contract on Oct 11 and they sent me the contract details on Dec10

I signed up for the 3 class deal which was 19.99. They called me immediately after signing up…read moreseveral times to schedule my first class and even when I did finally schedule, they were still calling me trying to get me to follow there Facebook, and confirm that I was coming to my class. The staff also would call and ask me several questions about why I'm choosing this gym and just all kinds of unnecessary things in my opinion so I had to quit answering the calls. There's nothing wrong with selling but sheeshhh, the sales thirst is real here. When I arrived to my first class I was given the grand tour then I received my free pair of gloves which were in the color black. I wanted pink instead and had to pay 15$ extra for that. You will also need to purchase wraps for your hands. so keep that in mind. when you purchase the bundle, only the gloves will be free. Long story short, I made it to my first class and loved it. The instructors are really good, and take there time with you. But of course after completing my first class more sales pitching was pushed my way. I wish they would start trying to sell you the membership after your last class which makes sense because damn Pam, its my first class, can I try all 3 to determine whether I want to join or nah? What was more annoying was the membership fee which was a whopping 145$ per month for 12 months! With an initiation fee of 150! but if you sign up your first class (hence why they pitch the member ship to you so soon) the initiation fee will be brought down to 50$. I was sooo looking forward to getting a membership here. I really like this place, its a very fun way of working out compared to the gym but 145$ a month is not affordable for me. I used to belong to Title Boxing and there membership was only 74.99 so I came in expecting a price point of that nature not 145$. Oh well, back to the gym I go.

The "rule" is 5 min before class they lock the door and no entry, no exceptions. This "rule" is not in the contract but on a note on the front door that you can't read in the dark doorway. I'm new to the place so I'm very disappointed that this person felt so self empowered to enforce this "rule". Rude is an understatement ! Angry and frustrated is where I am. But I'm not going to lie I was a little intimidated taking a class when I watch their videos on Instagram. But a couple of days ago. I said to myself life is to short. What the heck! Just go for it. I didn't want to go alone. So I bought my little brother along with me. If you want to take a free intro class just go online to their website and sign up. The intro class is so worth it to actually see what it's all about. I've seen kickboxing on lifetime shows. But let me tell you. It's nothing like what you see on TV and how easy actors and actresses make it seem. It was a serious WORKOUT!!! But a great workout! At one point I did feel a little light headed. And thought I was going to pass the hell out. Lol! Smh! I look over at my little brother like helpppp!!! Lol! I couldn't make it to my water. So I just leaned on the wall to take some deep breaths. I couldn't go out like that and pass out on my first day. Everyone motivates each other. No one judges each other. I loved that! You don't find that at most places. Wow those women and men had me all pump up! I'm trying to be fit this winter just like them! The membership prices weren't to bad too. They also have punch cards for a certain amounts of classes too. I'm not going to share all the juice. Cause what you need to do at this very moment. Yes you can do it!!! Go and sign up for their intro class to see what it's all about. Its super worth it! Then you can go from there!!!

Pretty good gym, but i've never see the owners/main trainer not even once in my time thereread more
