They didn't have a minimum which was great. I called and spoke with the owner Ms Kelly and she was very nice and answered all my questions. The chairs and tables were reasonably priced and they were clean. We got 1 9ft table and 12 chairs for $40. They also have bounce houses and other concessions available for rent. The transaction was smooth. I told her what i needed, she quoted me, and emailed me an invoice. We signed the contract and paid online also. We attended the Noon years eve event at the children's museum today. A Mile of Smiles was there…read moredoing glitter tattoos and balloon animals, swords etc. we stood in line for the tattoos first and then joined the very long line for balloons. The 2 doing the tattoos were absolutely wonderful! They're excellent with kids and so patient. We waited for over an hour in line for balloons and my kids were especially excited because the balloons they saw were better than others they've gotten elsewhere. I honestly couldn't believe they had such great balloons at a free event! She is very talented. My 4yo was especially excited and did an excellent job waiting in line. Gold is his favorite color and he couldn't believe she had golden balloons! When it came his turn she asked what he wanted but didn't give him the chance to respond (less than a second) before saying "alright Mom, what does he want?" I deferred back to him so he could respond. He did. She didn't fill his balloon up all the way and just decided to let it go. (I get it... it's fine, it's a free balloon) it was already shorter than the others she had made but he's a little guy so I encouraged him by saying "it's just your size!" to try and help out. He wasn't convinced. Then she proceeded to make him the same sword he's always gotten other places. He was devastated. She just sloughed it off and said she had to move along so she's making the faster swords. Fine. I get that. I'll talk to my son. Again, he's 4, stood in line very well for about an hour and was just crushed. We talked him through it. He recovered but then saw that the kid just behind him got the better sword he had stood in line for. I was at a loss for words. If that's all it was, I would not be writing this review. I would have just parented him through it and moved on. However, as we were standing there waiting for the balloons of my other kids to be made she started laughing at all the people in line. She said that if the line is too long when it's time for her to go, she just goes to the bathroom and doesn't come back. She kept laughing and saying stuff like "they're in a long line, they should know better." And on and on. I can talk to my kid and I can help him through his disappointment but her attitude makes it really hard to explain to my kid why. I took a picture of her information because I was so impressed with her work in the beginning but with the attitude she had around kids, it left me with enough of a bad taste in my mouth to share with others. I'm not sure what happened at the end, we weren't there for it. They were free balloons and were thankful for them but with the way she laughed and carried on, I decided to not keep her in mind for any future events we may have.
