I stopped in after having lunch to take a look around and it is super cool with some really great pieces. Some that were super unique and fun. I was greeted right away and then was given space to look around and take pictures. I kinda forgot that I was in a gallery and not a museum because honestly some of the pieces could be in one. I asked about dimensions on one piece or a series of three pieces and then was given the price and a card with their information if I had any additional questions once I went home to check my space size.

Each gallery selects its own closing time, apparently, so we arrived before 8:00 at the Morean and were told that they were closing in ten minutes. At Florida Craft Art, the two women working literally turned their back on us (we're over 50- eeeeek!) and would not speak, so I was unable to buy the stained glass piece that caught my eye. After trying three of the six galleries, we'd had enough. Really disappointed.

This museum is a good deal smaller than the other one out west. But in a way, I didn't mind that because I was able to spend extra time on the pieces they did have. Sometimes quality over quantity is ok. You can also get a free audio tour via your phone by scanning a QR Code, which I definitely recommend to get more history and context about the sculptures. I did not have time for the glass blowing demo as it started at 12 and I only had one day in St Pete and I was heading to a baseball game. The selections in the exhibition are beautiful. Each one is surprisingly more beautiful and different than the next one. The service in the gift shop where you purchase your ticket is especially great. You can ask questions and receive polite answers. I really enjoyed my visit. Don't forget to watch the live glass demonstration across the street at the Morean Arts center. Tips are appreciated.

The architecture of the building had great lighting and spaces. Not huge, but also not small. I believe they are expanding too. Cafe downstairs and a gift shop. Took two turns at the art work. One solo and one on the free tour. The tour is absolutely a must. I learned so much and got to get a better understanding for the pieces and artist. Gift shop was fun, but I expected more unique things. Pricer side. I'd say overall visit absolutely worth it. Nice walkable area nearby. If you're lucky, you'll see some dolphins!

Fantastic husband and wife owned store that is a must see when shopping in the downtown area!…read more It's actually two stores in one. The husband runs the left side and his wife runs the right side. I shopped in both sides and was impressed with the variety of unique items in both stores. The husband has a decent selection of used vinyls at a great price, plenty of discounted (new) tee's, posters, framed wall art and Vargas Prints, patches, rings, hats, stickers, some modern toys and other collectables. The wife's store has plenty of art inspired clothing, hats, wigs, jewelry, and so much more, lots to see!! Both stores were packed as it was St. Pete's annual Halloween street party. More packed on the ladies side then the men's side. I purchased three patches for my vest. They were a little over $6 each but if you buy three, you only pay $15, not bad, that's about the going rate. I didn't get the owner's name but he was very nice and chatted with me a bit before and after check out. All in all, I highly recommend stopping here if you are visiting the area
