We went to see the Tibetan monks create mandalas and what a tremendous exhibit! I love that they also had pieces from local artists with their interpretations of mandalas! In terms of value, the shop definitely had something for everyone. I'm not sure you can really put a value on art as it is so personal to the buyer. But there were many pieces in there that I would happily purchase and display! Everyone was so friendly. I look forward to going back!

Wonderful, helpful staff and volunteers to help you choose the perfect piece of art for your home or for a gift.

I love going to Florida CraftArt regularly, because the exhibitions change, and exciting new artists are always being added. Check out their paintings, glass vases, jewelry, ceramics, note cards, furniture, and these adorable little statuettes!

Example of the great pieces in the store!

Florida Craft Art is a wonderful store to visit when in downtown Saint Petes. The store is filled with beautiful jewelry, art and crafts. It's a great place if you need a gift for yourself or anyone else. I will definitely be visiting again!

Florida CraftArt is a must see in downtown st Pete. The art is beautiful and unique! I can always count on finding a gift for someone or a really special piece for myself here. Absolutely recommend!

Come look! It's free free fiii! It is a a hybrid of gallery and gift shop. All the artists are local. The gallery is themed/curated. The current showing is Answered if Fiber. I'm not usually into fabric art but there was definitely a few pieces that grabbe my attention. A few had thought provoking messages. The shop is full of art for sale. There is everything from ceramics, art, prints and useful art items. Shirts, pillows, stickers, jewelry really something for everyone. There is even a kids art activities for purchase. They do participate in Saturday Art Wall, they just stay open later. Plenty to see and updates. Come if you are visiting, come back again if you're a local.

Florida CraftArt is a must see if you're in downtown St. Petersburg. Lots of unique art pieces made by local artists.

Florida CraftArt is a nonprofit organization right on Central Ave in downtown St. Pete. It's free and open 7 days a week. They have beautiful handmade artwork, all made by artists in Florida, so buying gifts here means you're supporting local artists. In addition to the retail space, there's an exhibition space with rotating exhibitions that include local, national, and even international artists. Locals and visitors will love this place!

Florida Craft Art is my favorite of the galleries, but the whole street is great for shopping and dining.

The whole neighborhood is great for strolling, shopping an eating, but Florida Craft Art is my favorite. The changing exhibitions are always interesting and the shop has terrific, fun stuff.

Shop local and support artists from across the state. Plenty of gifts, jewelry, and decor. Non profit coalition... even better!

Oh, this was such a fun night!…read more My friend had been here before. She has a long history of knowing fun places-and I happily followed her here. It was everything I hoped for and more. It's so colorful and cheerful inside. You can feel the creativity flowing and gelling. Inspo is everywhere. The staff were so welcoming and supportive-especially to someone who still paints like an elementary school kid (that would be me). We paid $10 for the special ghouls night out session... but I've heard you can do walk ins, too. There are shelves full of all sorts of figures and plates and other pottery to choose from. The prices are on the bottom-and that covers the paint and the firing. My friend and I had a table to ourselves-and could spread out our snacks and drinks (they had cupcakes, cookies and small cans of soda available but you can also byob and foods. We brought charcuterie items, champagne and pumpkin doughnuts). It was such a relaxing and happy experience-painting, snacking and chatting. The staff checks on you. You can also go ask for more paint at any time. My spider won't win any awards-but he sure was fun to decorate! I can't wait to see how he'll look after firing. I'm told the colors will darken. It should be ready for pickup in about a week. I'm told they have art classes, day camps and summer camps and that you can hold parties here. It's fun for all ages and I may bring my mom, sister and niece here for some three generation bonding. It's a comfortable space with lots of easy parking available. I'm already looking forward to going back. See you there?!

The shop itself is an adorable little gem, very comfortable, not overwhelming. Josie was amazing at explaining the process and was helpful throughout when we had questions (yes, even "dumb" ones). The Studio features simple, yet aesthetically pleasing pieces to choose from with a wonderful array of paints to choose from. THERE IS A DESIGN CENTER! This means you can choose from stencils of all sizes and patterns, stamp type devices to imprint designs, and best of all....a computer to search images that the studio will then image and re-size for you on the spot to have a custom stencil for your creation! I've tried painting my own wine glass, blah blah...hideous, but really I was in it for the experience. This studio raised the bar so much for me! Potters House most certainly had my number- ADORE, LOVE, REVISIT.
