This nail spa is 3 mins from me so decided to try something local for convenience. I knew it was a lot pricier than my usual place and I was okay with that. The service and spa experience was just okay and for the price point I would expect a much better experience. I initially was going to do a mani/pedi decided on a spa pedicure pricey for $75 but I needed some extra care. The whole experience was just mediocre for $75 felt rushed on top of that. It came with a 15 massage which a timer was set but on my end as I looked at my phone ended up being 11 minutes and honestly didn't matter as the foot/leg massage was just terrible! The woman and staff were nice but this caused me to skip on doing the mani. At my usual nail spa place my basic $30 pedicure is a lot better and I come out with a great massage feeling relaxed unlike here where I left needing a massage. I paid & tipped 20% and putting this place as one and done. Just add The paint also chipped on a few nails after just 4 days! Makes me question the polish quality! But at my recent visit, I left feeling unheard as a customer. I felt pressure to get extensions on all nails, but compromised on just my thumb because the edge had a little breakage, even though I specifically said I didn't want extensions, so I gave in -- as I have with other things in the past. The result looked noticeably different from my other thumb (so thick and wide), yet she insisted it was due to my nail bed. When she eventually removed the extension, both thumbs looked the same. I know this was not an issue with my nails, but rather the application even though she would not back down. She also burned me multiple times during the appointment, and despite me expressing the pain I was in, there was no reaction or apology -- as if I was expected to just tolerate it. After all this time, it's disappointing to leave unhappy with both the experience and the end result.
