Harassing your patients about arriving 15 minutes before the scheduled time when you have an empty waiting room is unwarranted and not the best business model. Touchstone's corporate policy is to refund within 30 days of insurance company payment. After more than 60 days, I finally had to call to get reimbursed. If I'd left a bill like that unpaid, I'd likely have ended up in collections, so wth? If I hadn't followed up, I'm sure my $ would've sat in their corporate coffers indefinitely. NOT ok!
