I have never felt compelled to write a review for a medical practice. I had a physician that I…read moreloved, he was great and the doctors in the hospital gave him the nickname "Boy Genius" because he was so smart. The problem is for the last two years I went there I never saw him. I saw a different NP or PA every time I went, and one was worse than the other. I asked one NP about a simple blood test result (they checked my thyroid and one of the results was a little bit "off."). After a few questions to which she replied "I don't know" she finally whipped out her ipad and googled it. It left a bad taste in my mouth for PA's and NP's in general. I recently moved a few miles west of East Moriches and went to South Bay when I had the flu and bronchitis which led to asthmatic bronchitis in the fall of 2016. I saw a PA, Stephanie, and she was fantastic. Literally more aggressive with my treatment than anyone else I have ever seen. I had to see her three times to check my lungs and she would adjust my medication until I got better. Same thing in the fall of 2017. She cleared up my cough in a short time. My most recent visit was this weekend when I saw a nurse practitioner, I believe it was Candice. I knew for sure I had plantar fasciitis because I have a long history of this foot problem. She was extremely knowledgeable and smart and was very compassionate about my circumstances. She gave me an RX for physical therapy and recommended things I could do myself to clear it up. Stephanie and Candice have restored my faith in NP's and PA's. I have not yet met the doctor on staff and that's fine because I am very pleased with the care I have gotten so far. I am thrilled that I found this place and am even happier that they have weekend hours and allow walk in appointments. So far every employee that I have dealt with has been professional and pleasant. They are 10 minutes from my home and I am happy I found them.

Issue #1 Made a appointment for a Wednesday, when Wednesday…read morecame we were having a snow storm. I called to reschedule the appointment, it was changed to Saturday. So Saturday came along and I went to office and checked in. Well the girl said I didn't have appointment. That "I" cancelled my appointment. I corrected her and said that I call to reschedule and someone in your office "FAILED TO DO THEIR JOB". She told me a could go the other office. So I said , since your office made the mistake, you now are inconveniencing me. I said I will wait and I want to speak to the doctor. All this girl did was repeat to me that I could go to the other office. Issue #2 They issue me a CPAP machine from a third party company NYHHC in 2015. And I never got the correct supplies in three years. Never could get in touch with anyone in those three years. So I left 28 voice message one day and I got a call back. But now I have different insurance. So I call Dr. McNulty office to get a script sent over to NYHHC. I called Dr.McNulty office next day and I was told it was faxed over. Reach out to my contact at NYHHC and he didn't receive it. So I call back the doctor and give them another fax number. They wait all day till 5:30pm , to call me and tell me I need to see the doctor. ???? I thought you fax it yesterday, BOOM. CAUGHT IN A LIE. This is how they treat an congenital heart disease patient. And you also mistreated my father a few years ago and kicked him out of the office. I Seriously consider the 'competence' of a physician, who allows his receptionist to call the shots! Have been without my Thyroid Meds for over 10 days, have called the office several times, asking why they were not refilled? receptionist refused to give message to Dr. furthermore, she argued with me, talked over me, didn't let me get a word in! She stated Dr will only refill for a month, that I need blood tests for refills? Why when I just had lab tests in August? It was Oct 10 when office, Dr? refused to refill. Told her Dr said I would need Labs repeated every 6 months. This has now changed to 2 months? Each time I called, I reached this receptionist, she kept telling me Prescription will be sent, but again, it was never sent, I called her again, pleading to speak with DR she treats me condescendingly, as though I am an a complete annoyance too her! Always promising DR will call back, but this has yet too happen. She finally stated that she is sending the prescription, but it will be the Last!? I had too wait the entire weekend, with no prescription. Called her Monday, she said they were sent?( Not True ) I called Pharmacist, he said only just received, within the past five minutes! Imagine that! however, and it was just one prescription not the other Thyroid meds. Pharmacist had to get involved and call the Dr. This receptionist is destroying the DR's practice, but more importantly, Endangering the health of his patients!! But I blame this on the Physician, I have been without 'Life Sustaining Medication' for 2 weeks! Never in my life have I ever experienced such professionalism. My advice to anyone considering this practice. Stay Away!
