The facilities (which include 2 jacuzzis, a sauna, a large pool with an amzing view, and a cold plunge) were all beautiful. By far the best massage I've ever received. Beautiful facility, definitely go here if you want a more a quiet, intimate setting, because Toccare was OVERRUN with children. The staff at both spas were very informative and helpful. I had an 80min. Swedish massage, my therapist was very kind and professional, was extremely relaxed and happy. WORST SPA in A.C. Beware!!!! They pick you up late and return you early. Don't be fooled by the fancy name being part of Borgata. I am very disappointed yet another time. I came back to borgata to give it another chance after I felt customer service handled my disappointment well a few months ago. They apologized after listening to my concern of paying for this service and they pick you up late and return you early. I was cautious this time, however wouldn't think the same thing would happen. I returned for another 50 min massage. It was for 2:00 p.m. I was picked up at 2:05 which then you have to take the elevator and get into your room where they give you a minute to disrobe. It was 2:08 when the service began. (There is a digital clock in the room). I always bring my phone anyways because of what happened before. Must people don't carry their phone or wear a watch I'm sure. She tells me I'm all set. It's 2:48!!!! How can this be!? You take me late and end early!?? Again!?? Is this how they run this spa??? I gave it another chance and that was the last. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Not for a hard working person trying to enjoy a service. I am a teacher and I privately tutor. If I start 5 min late I finish 5 min late. read more

We did not use the spa services but we did, however, pay to use their private pool area for the day. We really recommend doing this as it's not crowded and the view is amazing. A lovely lap pool, comfortable chairs, a wonderful hot tub, waiter service and relaxing music all made for a very enjoyable day for us. We even left for lunch and gambling but then came back and stayed until 8 pm (closing time) before going back to our room to get ready for dinner. The cost was $30 each but it was well worth it to get away from the crowds at the pools below. read more

The spa itself is gorgeous, very clean, the staff was very nice but my massage called for a 50 minute massage, no way was this 50 minutes, at best it was 35 minutes, I would say 50 minutes if you include the time it took from when they called you, went up the elevator to the massage room and went back downstairs. The massage itself was great but not long enough and you are paying top dollar. The other thing that I did not like was when you check in, you have to automatically pay the gratuity of like 20% and another small fee for the staff. I normally don't write reviews on my experiences, I either love the place and frequent it or never go back. I might add my two cents to friends if asking about a particular place I've been but I think it best to make up your own mind about an experience somewhere. But today I wanted to give props to the ladies that took care of me yesterday. My boyfriend and I come to Borgata a few times a year from New York, and each time I find myself at Immersion for some "treat me" time. Every time I step into the space suspended so beautifully above the boardwalk with the floor to ceiling windows I am instantly at ease, yesterday was no acceptation. As I put my robe on and slipped on my sandals to get ready for my day of pampering I assumed it would be the same great experience. My first hour was with Amy, my massage therapist. I know most people don't talk much during their sessions but I'm kind of a chatty Kathy. She was so sweet and I found myself completely at ease with her. I'm a runner and in management so I have some major knots. She worked out all the kinks that never seem to go away and I walked out feeling better than normal, I felt great! Next hour I did the Borgata facial with Leslie. Another home run therapist! She walked me through products that will help my skin look it's best, which I know is part of her job, but she was so genuine, not pushing products on me. Mediocre massage at exorbitant price. I don't mind paying for quality but you might as well go to massage envy. The desk people were rude and disorganized. We lost 20 minutes from our massage time waiting for them to get their act together. They refused to extend our time and were even affronted by our request as if we should have built in more time for a drawn-out disorganized check-in process. Management was called and handed us a coupon to come back. Really low class. Not stepping foot in that place ever again. read more

This is my go to spot. The view is spectacular the service is very good. The area with the pool and jacuzzi is for both male and female so you can enjoy yourself with your significant other or friends. The pool is very long and no one is ever in it. I consider it to be my own private pool. The jacuzzi is huge and can fit at least 12 people comfortable in there. And for the men's locker room everything is always fully stocked mouthwash, toothbrushes, razors. They also have this nice face treatment with different steps on how to keep your face clean and moisturized. There's another jacuzzi in the men's locker which is pretty cool plus it has a steam room that gets really intense. I don't believe there is a suana if my memory serves me right. Also there is a separate mini pool that's really cold. Just hovers above freezing temperature, it's supposed to be really good for muscle recovery. I'll have to try that one in another life. The facilities and clean and the massages have been amazing every single time. Except once the masseuse kept talking which made it not relaxing. Overall one of the best spas I have been to. read more

My wife and I both got a treatment and they were very good. Great ambiance and staff was very attentive. You will struggle to order food or drinks here though. No one in upper management has ever taken a course in design thinking or has ever gone through the motions of what a guest's experience is like ordering food here. Example: You're at a high end spa, top of Atlantic City. You check in for your spa treatment. You've just locked up your valuables in the locker room and been fitted for a robe and slippers. You come out to the community area and derobe to enjoy a dip in the hot tub. You then relax by the pool and take in the views. It's time for your treatment. Wow it was great. You meet your significant other back at the pool and you want to enjoy a glass of wine. Instead of any personal service at all, you're told that in the far corner there is a menu on the wall and a phone next to it to order. So you decide what you want, and pick up the phone. When you dial the assigned number, it doesn't go to a place in the hotel dedicated to the spa food and beverage, you get sent to general "room service" and have to denote that you're at the Immersion Spa... and worse off, they literally will not take your order unless you have a credit card on you at that moment. Now I remind you, you've locked everything in the locker, you're standing there in swim trunks only and they refuse to take your order because they're system is not set up to do anything but take orders from this phone with a credit card... so you have to hang up, go into the locker room, get your card, come back to the corner, wait in line to use the phone again, and then re order with your credit card in hand this time. Once you place your order, there is a few number signs on the table and you have to take one and tell the room service operator your number. They bring you your food and drink 30-45 min later. I cannot believe, that in 2017 this "high end" spa has determined that this is the best possible experience for there customers. What a huge fail- overshadowed an otherwise great experience. I have been so upset since my terrible experience at Immersion Spa that I felt compelled to write my first review. My husband, 2 daughters from out of town, and I went to the spa for some special time together as I was scheduled for major surgery that upcoming week. Following our massages my older daughter stated that she did not enjoy her massage because the therapist was wearing gloves. Rather than agreeing that the therapist should have disclosed that she had a cut on her hand and intended to wear gloves, the manager, Emily, blamed my daughter for not stopping the massage while in progress. After much ado, including calling my daughter out of the hot tub for a 'private discussion', the manager reluctantly offered to 'comp' the massage. What should have been an easy customer service issue became an extremely upsetting, time consuming problem - completely ruining our important family time together. A total debacle. read more

I had such a great experience here! The spa is beautiful! It's on the 32nd floor, so the views are great! The pool area was nicely maintained and comfortable. My facial left my skin looking and feeling fantastic. Leslie was professional, and so nice! The food menu was a little limited, but we enjoyed what we had. I had gone to Immersion with a very large group of people as a fun girls getaway over this past weekend. I Tried to be very organized and prepared with the management there because we had 30 girls that will have spa treatments, lunch and drinks. I had started the process 6 weeks in advance. It took 3 weeks for a return phone call from the group specialist and even after talking with 3 different people there and requesting that the restaurant know that there are going to be 30 people wanting to eat lunch and drink, they were never told and turned out to be a complete fiaco. Not relaxing at all. We do this as an annual getaway, we will not be returning. read more

The immersion spa is beautiful with a breathtaking view of Atlantic City but the golden jewel of the spa is Carmen, she is an amazing therapist with "magic hands" as one other reviewer posted. I had the 80 minute Swedish massage and it was worth every penny with Carmen. She has a unique technique, very skillful, it was so calming and relaxing I literally fell asleep! I have had a lot of massages but this was the best experience I have ever had, Carmen is fantastic. I can't wait to go back again, I will always make my appointments based on her availability. If you are planning on going to Immersion ask for her, trust me you will NOT be disappointed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the hot tub area is very small, not a lot of room to relax in but they have cute little padded mats with pillows along the window edge over looking the city, very zen like, there was only 1 other person in there at the time so it was very quiet and relaxing. However the lap pool area is huge, plenty of seating also overlooking the city but this area is a little busier. You can order food and or drinks by the pool also which is a plus. I booked my mother a massage at the water club for her birthday and I got a spa day pass to hang out and wait for her. I'll start with driving into the water club, the parking lot was ugly. The plants looked dead and desert like and there was trash everywhere. Walking into the spa was beautiful but our expectations of the spa were going down hill with every step we too. The spa attendants took us on a tour of the woman spa but there was dirty towels on the floor, water all over the floor in the wet spa (not safe) and the showers leaked. Not to mention the jacuzzi was filthy! Tiles with mildew on them, half ate fruit laying around, and what ever you do DO NOT look up! The ceiling had mildew almost covering it. It was nasty!!!! There was absolutely no privacy in the changing areas and the over all feel of the spa was just half ass. On the way out of the parking lot there was very little signs telling us where to go, then we came up on a little booth. We pulled up and saw a very tiny sign and a attendant with her hand out. We had no idea we had to pay for parking bc there were no signs that said so. Smh over all we were very disappointed with our visit. She enjoyed her massage but we couldn't wait to get out ! read more

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a "spa day" for our anniversary and I chose Immersion after reading some great reviews. We were staying in Brigantine and wanted to do something different besides walking on the beach (we don't gamble). It was a first time for both of us although we frequently have massages. The whole experience was first class all the way. I chose the "rock your senses" massage and believe me, it won't disappoint. When my massage therapist was finished, I told her I was going to stay on the table for the rest of the day. I was that relaxed!!! The little extras such as bottled water, walnuts, clementines, access to a locker all day, and the comfort of the lounge chairs, etc. made the experience that much more enjoyable. I loved the robe that they gave you for the day to use while you have access to the spa pool/jacuzzi so much that I bought one for myself! The total for our 2 massages came to about $350 which included the tip. I also left an additional tip for my MT because she was excellent . I tend to be very thrifty but the $350 for our massages and access to the spa area for the entire day was worth every penny!! In total, we stayed about 5 hours sitting by the spa pool, enjoying lunch, cocktails, (lunch/cocktails were extra $$) and that incredible view. We will be back. Immersion, you rock!!
