First time to the spa, redeeming a xmas gift given to us by our coworkers with the instruction, "take this and go relax". The checkin was welcoming and informative, the layout was clean, well stocked and everything was functioning and available to enjoy. the massage was perfect, my technician Chris was patient, professional and incredible at his craft. pressure was on point but I was not sore, swollen or uncomfortable during or after the experience. it was a totally therapeutic experience and definitely a reason why I'll return. my only request, maybe offer some fresh fruit as part of the amenities....a bowl of oranges, apples or a banana would be an inexpensive offer with fairly long shelf life and would be a welcome refresh from the steam or sauna experience. read more

First time visiting this spa, and overall the experience was just okay. It didn't have that classic "spa smell," which immediately took away from the relaxing atmosphere. I also didn't see any cucumber water; they did offer another type of refresher, along with hot tea, coffee, water, V8 juice, and some trail mix. There were also some nice lavender moisturizer and soap options. They provided a soft robe and rubber slides, which you can use throughout the day since they don't offer adult beverages or lunch options. I booked the signature massage with a scalp add-on. The massage itself was nice, but again, the room lacked that relaxing spa scent and ambiance. The jacuzzis were subpar initially not hot at all, but they did warm up while I was sitting in them. The steam room, however, was very steamy and worked well. After leaving the spa, I went to the pool just to get the chlorine smell off. I came back to the spa, used the steam room again showered and finally left after spending a few hours. Overall, I think a few upgrades would make the experience much more relaxing, especially for the price and for what you expect from a spa. Had a 50 minute deep tissue massage with Nate Ross - he was amazing!!! My husband and I are big spa people and find it hard to find good deep tissue masseuses. Nice spa. The jacuzzis, steam and sauna rooms are nice. I previously used the spa and partly chose Borgata because of this spa. However I personally went in on a regular, non Holiday Monday in March and was told by a rather arrogant employee that for a day pass Monday is considered the weekend and therefore it was "weekend pricing" which is $80, and that it was $50 starting Tuesday. It's not worth $80. So I went in on the following day, Tuesday, and was informed by the desk that it is $80. Then she tried to BS me saying that if I called over the phone the price is different.... First off, why would the price be different if I called or came in person? I politely asked to speak the manager. She called for the manager, who after five minutes walked right past me. I'll keep my $. In fact, I decided not to spend any more of hard earned $ at the Borgata and went to Caesars to play and eat. I was treated well at Caesars. Lousy policies and service ruin a very nice day spa. read more

I've gotten a handful of services here from different trips (massages, pedicures, and facials) and have had great experiences so far. The spa itself is spacious with plenty of treatment rooms. There is a private jacuzzi/sauna area in the changing rooms where you can relax before and after your service. They offer Lather brand amenities such as face wash and moisturizer. The waiting room offers water, tea, fresh juice, & snacks. The robes they provide are very plush and comfortable (they also provide sandals if you need). Services: The massage I received was very relaxing and soothing; however, my husband has had mixed experiences. The pedicure was mediocre in application and service, and it didn't feel like a spa experience. The facials I've received were overall the best treatments I enjoyed. This most recent trip, my therapist was Lesley and she was by far the best! She was kind, detailed and tailored the experience to me, and she made the whole experience super relaxing. I could feel the gentleness, care, and precision in her process. She also gave a really great massage. I was glowing afterwards! I suggest calling a day or two ahead as they tend to get booked quickly, especially on the weekends or bad weather days. Definitely a great place to relax and have some "me time." read more

Just okay. I had the custom massage. The masseuse was definitely not into her job that morning (a Sunday). The massage was poorly managed, time-wise. My biggest concern areas were my left shoulder and lower back. Although I requested she only massage those areas, she massaged the Right shoulder longer than the Left, and had maybe 5-10 minutes spent on the lower back. When I informed her that I preferred firm pressure, she kinda laughed. She preceded to massage the same light pressure way she started with. Just an okay massage, and I've had better. Guess she knew the 20% tip would be added, regardless of the quality massage she was giving. The spa was also just okay. The spa area consisted of a sauna, a steam room, and three whirlpool areas, all of which were black around the top of the tile with mildew. YUCK. Go see MARINA. The spa areas for use before treatment are MEH( warning you!) BUT my review is based on my service and MARINA IS A GEM. She is just pure excellence. I got a custom facial and paraffin add on for $25 for my feet, it was heaven. I wish she had her own facial spa because I would be a regular. The spa services need an update. Older showers and very basic hot tub. Far from luxury. I like the relaxation area that offers free water and snacks. Overall I would come back for MARINA! My face was glowing after. I appreciated her level of skill with extractions and experience. I also enjoyed the massage she gave which was included in the facial. I will say you can use como dollars and be mindful if you do you can also pay gratuity which is 20% on your como dollars 1:1! read more

I would write a 2 star review but that wouldn't be fair to the stylists. I've gotten great cuts and blow outs at the Borgata spa. They don't have a ton of staff so it's pretty quiet in there. My issue is this: the web/app doesn't allow you to book most hair services. I called 12 days ahead of schedule and while it seemed like they were working me in I was given a 2:45 appointment for a single process color and a blow out. I made it for that time because it wasn't possible for me to be positive I could be on time for anything earlier and we had later plans. Today, I was in an appointment in Towson MD (3 hours away) at 10:25am when the spa called and left me a message requesting if I could come in earlier as I was booked with two different stylists. I called back less than 2 minutes later but realized I couldn't confirm that I could come in earlier until I reached home and checked the travel time and hung up. I drove home called back at 11:22 to be informed that the earlier time was now taken and that my original appointment was for a 2:45 AND 4:30 - meaning they expected me to hang about the spa with wet hair for 40-60 minutes until my blow out time. Are you kidding me? When I cancelled both appointments she was kind enough to waive the cancellation fee. I told her that was the least she could do. I hope the rest of the trip goes better. read more

I've been coming to the Spa for years and years and today I was using a pool with my kids i run out of water and usually I fill up they bottles in gym when we walk in they actually changing water so i decided to go in SPA and get ONE water bottle for my kids I went in and informed the workers there that I will get the ONE WATER bottle for my kids and I took it Then Manager started yelling at me and cursing me that I cannot get water bcs I don't have apt there I told her I have two small kids outside it's very hot and they need water And actually I did had appointment yesterday and today to at 3pm and I told her but she still wanna be a very mean person and don't give me water for kids Yesterday was with Devin I think was her name my appointment was for sport massage they did deep tissue I didn't even say anything bcs they did wrong massage on me so today I book another appointment bcs i want sport massage but I will definitely cancel this place just hate kids and that's so sad Btw that water is Free That manager is so mean and rude I seen her few times Just work on your personality and be kind that's all you have to do It's just water end of the day Never again going back to that place!!!! read more

Stayed at the Water Club for a family trip and I was not in the mood to gamble so I decided to book a massage. I had low expectations because booking the appointment was challenging over the phone. I called 2x and sat on hold for 15 mins both times. Annoyed I walked over to the Spa and luckily was able to secure a last minute appointment. I had an excellent Expecting Mother Massage with therapist Beverly. She used the right amount of pressure and had really good technique. My massage was so relaxing and soothing. If the Spa was not closing right after my appointment I would have extended my session with Beverly. The facility was clean. I was offered a rob and slippers. The steam room, jacuzzi and sauna were open but I didn't use them. They only offered water, tea, and a random trail mix... the refreshments could be improved. Was here with my girlfriend getting a spa treatment. My friend loves the Borgata and recommended this particular Spa. Totally agree with her. I will just come here for the spa services alone. Had an amazing time. We scheduled one of their spa special treatment. There are a list of spa specials which they offer every month. We spent some time after the massage at the Whirlpool, Jacuzzi, Wet and Dry Sauna. This was like a mini getaway from all the stress. I was so relaxed and happy. Folks, I had a massage for 30 minutes this past Saturday and I was still in knots and so tense. A getaway from NYC is the best bet and this Spa was the placed that did the trick for me. We had called last night after checking into the hotel to find out if they had any availability for the monthly special which they did. Provided our information and they noted they were following up via email. Day of treatment- We filled out a form which was on an ipad. It was questions/medical information as well as release form for services. This was all done before going into the Spa area for women. Separate entry for men. The two staff members were friendly and keep the place immaculate. Restocking water and refreshments. Had good therapist, she worked on upper part of the body and feet. I felt so relaxed afterwards. I went to this spa this morning at the Borgata casino and Spa. The staff were very friendly. I was given a tour of the spa. The spa therapist was so nice and friendly. The spa therapist gave me a choice of any oil or oils. Liz explained to me what I will be getting before getting a signature massage. Liz gave me a wonderful massage. It wasn't just any massage. Liz put the right amount of pressure on my body. I loved the amount of heat my body received. The hot stones weren't to hot. After my massage I felt relaxed and rejuvenate. The spa is what I needed. This was a birthday treat to myself. This place is so beautiful and relaxing. Next time I want to try to and experience more of the spa when I come back. read more

It was my anniversary weekend, & I wanted to do something nice for myself, so I booked a custom facial with Marina. I was a little worried, because I have very sensitive skin & the last time I got a facial, my skin did not react well to it. I am so glad I took the chance, because she was Amazing! She was so kind & knowledgable, really listened & payed attention to my needs. She was also as gentle as possible & my skin felt fresh & clearer afterwards. Very worth the money. I didn't want to gamble all day so thought some time at the spa would be a good idea. I made appointments for a manicure and massage. Unfortunately, I was unhappy with both of them. The manicure came out so sloppy. I couldn't believe I was lying $55 for a manicure of this quality. A couple of times I called out how streaky it looked and they tried to fix it but it was just awful...also chipped within a day. As for the massage, just don't do it. I got their standard massage and I feel like it was a total waste of money. They ended the massage with some weird icy hot cream that made me feel freezing and really uncomfortable. I also paid extra for hot stones and they used them for less than 5 mins?! I should have just gambled the money away, maybe I would have won something! read more

I called the Spa to book a wrap treatment ice for my wife and towards the end of the phone call, on a whim, i asked if they can accommodate 2 at the same time. They explained that the room/service for that type of treatment won't be possible for 2 people, so i asked if there was a room that could and they advised me of 3 services that could be done as a couple. I booked a service for the 2 of us When we got to the spa, admittedly, we were a minute or two behind as we had accidentally gone to the other spa on the property - a mistake I am sure many newbies make. The front desk attendant was wooden, unwelcoming, and terse with us. After getting changed and being shown to the treatment room, I asked if my wife was already in there. Nope, she's in the next room over as apparently they never did book that room for the couple to get their treatment at the same time. Moving to that room would take extra time to set up. Anyways, my treatment overall was great. My wife on the other hand was told by the tech before the service even started that they would have to remove features of the service because she was late. (we both hit the bed 10 minutes on the nose after our appointment time - after being shown through the lockers, changing, etc.) She was then reminded TWO OTHER TIMES in the next few minutes about how late she was and how the service will be abbreviated. At that point, my wife had to apologize for the 3rd time and asked the spa tech to drop the matter since - hello - you're in a spa and getting reprimanded which isn't a very relaxing experience! For my service, there was no mention from my tech at all about being late, shortened service, nothing. Anyways, for her, a manager was called over at the insistence of the spa tech which further cut into the service time. The manager, for what it is worth, gave us a dining gift certificate which was good for food and drink on the property. They did their best to make up for it. The actual quality of the service was quite good and fair given the level of the property but holy Moses, the customer service leaves something to be desired. I get it. We were a couple minutes late and I know you have a schedule to keep and if you did have to cut our time short, then we'd both be understanding about it but don't treat us like 5 year olds about it because things happen - like 2 people booking service on a property for the first time might have gone to the wrong spa. I can't honestly say I'll make the mistake of going to the wrong spa again because I'll think long and hard, If I ever stay at Borgata again, about booking another service here. read more

Decided to visit as a quick girls midweek spa getaway. Staff was plenty. Facilities were clean and quiet. Enjoyed my massage and ofcourse wished it never had to end. Before cutting my hair all she said was "I'm glad you are not going to tell me what to do". Just because they charge $75 or more for a haircut that doesn't mean the stylist is experienced. Save your money!! My overall experience was extremely disappointing. It was the most average and over priced facial I've ever received. In fact, some of the extractions my esthetician did were forced and my skin looked worse coming out of the facial. There was no explanation of the products used and the products the spa does offer are less than stellar. It's BYO robe, you don't get access to any amenities due to Covid and the prices still remain unchanged. Can you at least offer a bottle of water? They also add a 20% gratuity up front prior to any service being received. I do not recommend this spa for facials. read more

I have visited here years ago much better . This time around it was not good. My mom decided to treat me here for my birthday. First, I used my mom's debit card to pay. They make you pay up front . I frequent Spas three times a year and never have been asked to pay up front. The lady at the front desk then proceeds to tell me the person has to be present , who card it is. I suggested her calling the room to verify it's my mother's card who by the way has the sane last name. I also showed ID. But she called her manager , who she claimed was not available. This took 15 minutes to do all this. . She did was not welcoming at all and this was a bummer on my Bday. I called my mom on my cell to verify the card but as a courtesy I should not have to do this myself. She should offer to call the room to verify as a curtiousy. I was appalled I had to do this myself but you want to charge an up front gratuity. Most spas leave gratuity to the customer. My massage therapist was very rude Her name is Regina. Even after I explained the front desk problem. . First the massage was rough . Felt like she was just putting lotion on my back and moving in circular motions fast. She stayed on my back way too long. Did not massage my face. I had to tell her twice slow down because she was doing the massage very fast and not taking her time initially. She started 10:10 . Looked to argue when I said they started a little late but it's OK. She said my clock was fast. I pointed out the time when she began. But it was the full 50 min after I let her know nicely . . Here is a tip but she should know. First you ask a customer what pressure you would like? . Is there a specific part of the body you want me to concentrate on? I I have never met a therapist with an attitude . She appeared to be nice at first for five minutes. But I honestly think because they receive their money up front there is nothing to work toward. I also notice when I came out the room, she was all the way down the hall at the end. She didn't offer me water nothing. No have a nice day. I tipped her in cash because the massage itself got better but she would of got more providing she didn't have an attitude. . She stated time was up with an attitude at the end. . We were staying in Wildwood Crest and looked up many places - but we are very specific with our needs and wants and the Spa Toccare looked to be a perfect fit. Getting into the hotel/casino and to the spa was very easy! We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations in the ladies spa which included 3-hot tubes, sauna, steam room and lounge! It was a little busy - but there was plenty of room for everyone! For my spa service I treated myself to a 50-minute Total Radiance Facial which was done by Angela. SHE IS AMAZING!!! She was knowledgeable, kind and very good at what she does! I very much enjoyed my facial and would absolutely return and would 100% request Angela!
