Fun experience.. Across from the Urban Outfitters at the mall. Place is unassuming. We reserved a day ahead to get a slot of our choice. Mrs. Krishna and Ian opted for the Alien invasion experience. They were very much involved in the exercise for 30 minutes. Engaging, thought inducing and more importantly extreme fun. The gentleman at the front was very helpful. He explained everything thoroughly. Reserve your slot and enjoy away guys!

The venue is small, but really easy to get to in the mall. The concept is fun and modern, but the immersive experience is less VR/AI. It's literally just a screen with motion detector and touch. Bday packages are decently priced, well coordinated, and the flexibility in communication is perfect! Will I host another bday here? Probably not, did my son enjoy his party with friends, of course!

Didn't know what to expect when I booked on a Monday, but glad I did. No experience needed and so much fun. Shout out to our host Benji is the best. Very friendly, welcoming, explained everything thoroughly and put us at ease. Had great energy and was very welcoming. We booked the Squid Games and it was just like the show. A bit tricky and one of the hardest games, but was so much fun. Kid friendly and adult friendly games. Must try if you're looking for something fun to do at Valley Fair.

Really fun playing the immersive gamebox! It was our first time and the host gave clear instructions so onboard was easy! Now squid game is one of the toughest game since it's really sensitive to any movement. Still we completed the game! Will be coming back to try the other games!

30 minutes of paw patrol activity. Age: 4-7 yo 4 year olds needed guidance from one parent We all had fun

Today was my first time here with my kids, sister and her kids and the kids all had a blast. We came here on Tuesday, 2/18/25 and arrived around 1:15pm where the gentleman at the front desk was so knowledgeable and helpful. The kids range in ages 4-7 years old and the 4 year olds definitely needed guidance, so I had my husband go inside with them and help them while I sat outside the room taking pictures and videos through the glass. The kids did the Paw Patrol activity and it lasted 30 minutes which was a great start since they never played before and they are young. I'd like to come back because it was so much fun watching them have fun.

My group got the 9th Place ranking!

Overall, a very unique experience! A new AR game like no other. Imagine the XBOX Kinect (rip) but 10x better. The sensors in the room are good quality and sensitive. Be sure to move your BODY, not just your head! The headset personally put some tension on my temples - giving me a headache, but nothing unbearable. I would do it again! +++ FYI - this not a VR gaming session!!! Very different. Our host recommended the Squid Game Challenge instead of the original game we reserved online. I'm very glad he persuaded us because I think we had a much more enjoyable time. I really appreciate him explaining all of the rules thoroughly as well. There were 6 games and each of us had to accomplish things as a team! It was skill-based and made it a true challenge. Thank you, Benji!! My friends and I had a wonderful time.

Maybe it's because there are so few screens here? There is a large arcade at one end, but it was surprisingly empty during our visit. My kids loved the carnival games and bumper cars, though my daughter wasn't quite tall enough for many of the rides yet. To play games or go on rides, you'll need a reloadable game card, which also works as payment for food and drinks. Card stations are located throughout the boardwalk, and you can add money at any time. Food options are plentiful! Enjoy pizza, nachos, corn dogs, teriyaki bowls, candy shops, and ice cream, with a few spots serving alcohol for adults. The food was reasonably priced, but the alcohol was shockingly expensive, $38 for two 20oz beers! The best part about this place is the location... it's right on the beach! So, start your day with some time in the sand, and end it with a sunset ride on the Sky Glider or their giant Ferris wheel. Have fun!

I definitely will be back for the water park sometime this year. The food was meh, but just regular amusement park food I guess. The chicken tasted kind of dry to me tbh. Overall, I had so much fun. So keep the punch card in a safer place. You'll lose it. Punch card gets you 6 special cherry menu items food drink alcoholic drinks and deserts. You can share it with anyone too. Monorail has been broken a long time. The big roller coaster was just broken and. Caden was disappointed he couldn't try it. It was his birthday trip. The kids did the smaller roller coaster 6 times. Note: website does not have a list of NOT operating rides. The boys really liked driving the cars. They have no gas pedal and it steers but it's really fun and they pretend to steer. The old model A like cars have 2 seats so that line moves faster than the corvette and 57 Chevy bel air like 1 seat cars. Using the cherry jubilee your cards was frustrating. They hire high school kids and my adult daughter said it was like the park was staffed with untrained unprepared staffers who were easily overwhelmed . It's unfair to guests and the kids working She literally gave up at one food location after waiting 20 min when the girl couldn't ring up food for others in line and stared off into space while everyone waiting. Most the staff were overwhelmed and this is easy stuff. It's a small menu and you just press a touch screen. It was shocking the staff lack of competence and assuming not enough training . So I never got to try the chicken sandwich or ribs !!! My adult daughter said I wish I recorded the food line and cashier on a Go Pro to send video to Gilroy Gardens for review. Of the difficulties with staff. To help with training needed. And it's really costing them money will people giving up ordering and slow orders. They cannot use the display terminals where you just touch the item and it's ordered and it's a small menu. Our cherry punch card gave us free alcoholic drinks made with cherry juice. We walked over to the bar area and the guy ignored us for 10 min before finally saying I'm not open until 1 pm. He was setting up and we assumed he opened any minute as they didn't say we couldn't use the card got our drinks until 2 hours after park opening. This was the drink area set up by the Chinese Wok eating place. Making us wait for drinks 10 min + and then saying I'm not opening until 1 pm. They also don't tell you on the website nothing on the park takes CASH. Only cards. This comment is about the guests. The trend for parents to get these huge Wagons for 1 or more kid is so annoying. Huge wagons full of enough stuff for a small garage sale. It makes the parks more unnecessarily crowded. They do rent a few types of strollers here. So you need not bring one. Anyway. My last comment is park hours daily 11 to 5 pm doesn't work well they open so late you get there and are hungry. Then with the inadequate trained staff and taking forever to order and get food you waste half the day A 10 am opening would be perfect. 11 is too late. As it was we were only able to get one of our prepaid cherry drinks each due to waiting everywhere and slow service If we go again. We are eating an early lunch outside the park and going in with full stomachs.

Once you've been strapped down to the car you try going and that's when you realize this whole becoming restrained part was totally worth it as you find yourself riding heavy down this radical wooden coaster like I said it rides heavy but you don't feel it as the whole ride is very smooth and just awesome coaster ride in it's own way which makes me kinda forget that I've been strapped down to the car the whole review through! This is a fun place to bring your children and grandchildren. We brought our children here when…read morethey were growing up and it has been at least 30 years since we visited here now with our almost 4 year old grandson. I've been a supporter of Fairyland with their annual fundraiser - online auction for the past few years as well. We parked in the parking inside the parking gate on Bellevue and it is pretty reasonable for parking by the hour or the day. Our grandson was very excited and the first thing we did was attend the puppet show and saw "The Magic Tea Kettle". After that we let him wander around and explore the park and he loved the Dragon Slide and went on multiple times, rode the Merry Go Round a couple of times, the Jolly Trolley before it got busy, The Alice in Wonderland tunnel, Clocktower Slide, Willie the Whale, Ching Lung the Happy Dragon, The Three Little Pigs (but one was missing), The Jolly Roger Pirate Ship and the Ansi's Magic Web, saw the donkeys, ducks, tortoise, chickens, goats. We also ate lunch at cafe and shared chicken nuggets, chicken panini sandwich and chicken quesadilla which were healthy and delicious! At the end of our visit, we went to the gift shop and let him bring home a small trinket. The only suggestion I have is to get safety belts for the Merry Go Round for peace of mind. Visiting Fairyland with our grandson was a delight and brought back memories of bringing our son and daughter here some 30 years ago!

Love this place!!! In fact I have also enjoyed going twice as an adult as well. Its very cute, old…read moretimey & I enjoy its location right on Lake Merritt, which is very beautiful & a really great walk, esp easy for the strollers too. Originally, years ago I brought my 3 kids, and another Mom friend brought her 2 kids.
