The staff at Impact Audio & Tint was incredible. Thanks to Joshua for helping me with the installation of a new audio system for my truck. I had ordered the system from another retailer and attempted to self install it. I quickly realized that it was too complex a job and went over to Impact for help. Joshua was very understanding and didn't laugh too much at what I had done. I received a very reasonable quote for the service, radio, four speakers, SiriusXm, and back up camera. This place definitely takes advantage of women. I personally had a bad experience with Impact a few years back, however, now my grandma is getting ripped off by them! Really people?? She just wanted a radio that she could have a backup camera and turn by turn navigation displayed on the screen. They also installed steps and a bed cover that we haven't had problems with. First, they installed the radio and had wiring issues that caused the back up camera to come on while driving forward. They also informed us that her OnStar would not work anymore and she would have to pay another $300 for an additional screen to have her turn by turn navigation. Complete rip off! All the while my grandma is a basket case sitting at home because she just went through knee replacement surgery. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. My husband made an appointment for me to get the tint removed from my back glass and new tint installed on my Toyota. I arrived at 11:45 for my noon appointment. At noon, two of the employees left, presumably for lunch, leaving no one up front. About 12:25 I went up to see if I my keys were lying there, to get my phone charger out of the car (which still was out front) and it was funny how quickly the guy came from the back wanting to know what I wanted. I asked him how much longer till my car got taken back and he said he was finishing a job that would be about five more minutes. I got my charger and sat down to wait. At about 12:45 he finally came and took my car back. I continued to wait. At 2:15 I asked the girl up front about how much longer it would be. She checked with the guy in back and returned, saying it would be at least another hour. I said I could not wait another hour and she said she told my husband when he made the appointment that it would be a "two and a half to three hour job" (I called my husband when I left there - they did NOT tell him that or he would have dropped the car. Besides, she was now talking about three and a half hours, at least.) At that point I asked what condition the car was in so I could take it. She said the tint was off but there was glue and I wouldn't be able to see. So all this time they had only removed the old tint - what they were doing back there I couldn't say. I told the girl I would pay them for removing the tint and wanted to take the car. She claimed they were getting the water off (?) and would bring the car around. I decided to go around to see what my car looked like and what they were doing, and she warned me I needed to wait for them to bring it up front. I stayed where I was, watching the car. Finally the guy brought it out. They charged me $170 plus tax which the friend who recommended them to me said was the total it should have been for the whole job. I really blame myself for staying there when I saw the girl that worked up front. Shorts with her butt cheeks hanging out and a t-shirt that had a picture of a stick figure humping a "U". Pretty good indication of her attitude and the attitude of the guy in the back, whoever he was. Unprofessional, rude, and liars. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!! read more

It would be hard to overstate how good these guys really are. I have had car audio systems in my vehicles for the last 20 years and I have never had installation, troubleshooting, or repair work done this well. They have found and successfully repaired shotty work done for me elsewhere, their knowledge is off the charts, and they are nothing shy of meticulous, which is a breath of fresh air in an industry in which it's common place to have nasty, untidy wiring all over the place. Absolutely top notch! I needed a speaker upgrade for my Harley because the stock speakers were horrible. They showed me a great set at a great price and installed them while I waited. Went in to get an amp replaced. Picked the one I wanted then they went to work. Guy comes back in and says that 3 of my 4 speakers are blown and wanted more money to install new speakers. I decided to cancel the job and went on my way. Later, I installed new speakers myself. I discovered that the rear speakers had been disconnected and the metal prongs that wires are connected to broken off so that I would have been forced to replace them. Makes me wonder if I needed speakers after all. Oh, and my old amp that I was upgrading? They kept it without asking. read more

This place takes advantage of women. I came in because my front speakers were blown. A week after I got brand new speakers here they started cracking. When I returned they told me they're not meant to play loud music. What?? Then they tried to play it like the speakers were rattling against something in my door panel so my door panels needed to be wrapped with insulation tape for $200. So I naively let them do that addition. When they were done the head tech pulled me to the side and said "I think the problem is you need a new radio. That cracking sound is just static." First of all I don't listen to the radio; I hook my phone up to my cars Bluetooth system and the speakers still crack. Second of all, how come y'all wrapped my doors if that wasn't even the problem? Big money scam here. Also, when I was waiting in the lobby I talked to this man who also says Impact tried to con him out of money for things he didn't even have a problem with. Guess I'll just be taking my car to Best Buy for better speakers. read more

After an extremely frustrating time trying to find a business to instill a radio and some speakers in my car, I found the best place---Impact Tint and Audio. It was easy to set up an appointment and Chris was very helpful to explain everything I needed and prices. Disclaimer: I drive a 17 year old car. It's one of those cars that can make or break the person working on it. I knew getting into the job that it wasn't going to be a simple install, but I was really hoping for it. Anyways, I dropped my car off when they opened and picked it up later in the day. If you are looking for a quick and half done service, this may not be your place. Chris, who was working on my car made sure that the job was done right and fixed things as he went. My car was definitely given back in much better condition beyond the basic service. I highly recommend Impact Tint and Audio to work on your cars! If I could give them five stars, I definitely would. read more

Impact Tint & Audio were unable to tint my windows without bubbling and only refunded part of my money back. I went to have my car windows tinted. When I got it back, I saw that the tint wasn't adhering to the top of the back window. The lady there told me that the tint hasn't dried yet and all the bubbles will dry in 5 days. After 2 weeks, I saw that not only has the tint had not adhered to the window still but there was also some bubbles. When we took it back there, they tried to fix it but they said it was because of the matrix that the back window had on the top which makes it unable for the tint to adhere. I told them that if they can't fix it then I would like it completely removed from my car and a refund so we made an appointment for the following week. When we went to get it removed, I was told I would not be able to get a full refund because there was nothing wrong with the tint on the side windows. I told them that if I would've known in the first place that my back window couldn't be tinted, I would've never gotten the side windows tinted. Have you ever seen a car with just side windows tinted and not the back window? That would just be ridiculous. The reason I am so upset is because 1. They should've check my car before they started and told me that the back window may be a problem. They did not tell me before nor after they tried tinting my car. 2. I came to this place because they had a lifetime warranty on window tint. So if they couldn't fix it, I should get my full refund back. I wasted my time and money on this and I would like to get my full refund because they were not able to complete the job I was promised. I paid $238.10 and was refunded $120.00. I feel as though I am owed $118.10. read more
