today I went to get a windshield replaced. I specifically asked that they be careful with my vehicle as to not scratch dent or ding it. when I got home there were several spots that were scratched down through the clear coat. I went back to bring this to their attention. They completely refused to accept that they did this. Practically called me a liar. Then the owner turned and walked off to leave me with a worker. Said the spots were not new and looked like rock dings. It is obvious that this was fresh and the only ones are around the windshield where they were working. I am an ASE master tech so I understand the extra care needed to protect a vehicle . What ever happened to customer service? Would an "I'm sorry this happened. Thank you for bringing this to my attention. We will make sure this doesn't happen again " have been too much to say?! I have used this business since before the younger generation took over. Talk about bad luck. Drove back from our wedding weekend and got a chip in the mirror, which turned into a crack, which turned into a ginormous crack spanning half the distance of the windshield. We called up AutoGlass Express and they were so patient and so helpful. We are in between insurance cards and all things, so it took an undue amount of effort to gather all the necessary information. They found the glass product we needed it, ordered it, and told us they would be ready the following day for installation. The next day, I got there, sat in their waiting area for less than an hour and I was out the door. Their prices are unbeatable!!! Literally even came out to less than my insurance deductible, so we just paid out of pocket. The glass also comes with a warranty for chips. Overall, I am pretty amazed with the quality of the service and the turnaround time. What was literally a gargantuan pain in the butt was remedied in less than 24 hours. This is the second time I've had an issue with one of my vehicles. The first time, there was a chip in the window shield about 3-4 years ago. They repaired it quickly and I've had zero issues since the repair. This time, the regulator in my driver side window malfunctioned. I was sure by the sound it made my window was broken. I called them and Will was pretty certain it was not broken. When I took my vehicle to them, he reassured me that it wasn't, and saved me nearly 1/2 of what I paid to get the regulator replaced. I got my windshield replaced over a year ago. I have had it back twice now for rocks hitting my windshield. Both time I have came in with no appointment and they took the car right away to repair it. This time I got two rocks thrown at my window in the center and they had no problem taking care of me right away. When I originally got my window they came out the cheapest and they had a window for me in two days and got it put into place right away. I have sent people this way already to begin with including my sister and I will continue to send people there way. They are great here.
