This company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. They switched their sim cards out and sent us an email that we needed to make sure they had our updated addresses. I put in my address. No response. I email them. Nothing. I send a text message. Nothing. Today I get an email saying the company has been turned over to another company that is pretty obviously the same attempting to change it's name due to it's HORRIBLE reputation. HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! I purchased cell phone service from them it was for 9 years of prepaid 4G unlimited everything for $300 per line / SIM card. I bought 7. When I called to activate them they said they were no longer doing business as impact wireless and that they couldn't be activated. UPDATE #3: I just spoke with a man named Chris from Infinite LTE Data, the company that sends out the products from Impact Wireless / One Wireless World. He screamed and shout and was angry. He went on and on about having been in the business for 3 years. He stated that T-Mobile was lying to me and that they changed their contracts with them. T-Mobile said they have no record contracts with Infinite LTE Data, Impact Wireless, or One Wireless World. He swore that my tablet was new and that T-Mobile would lie about anything they could. He never listened long enough for me to be able to tell him that there is still a message in the tablet from its last owner. After being asked several times were they going to send me a replacement SIM card like he claimed they did for other customers. He refused to answer, initially. He later in the conversation said that he was going to turn me over to Impact Wireless / One Wireless World. I informed him that I contacted the BBB, am providing online reviews and ratings, and am contacting legal counsel. He continued to yell. He had no intention on attempting to rectify the situation. He wanted to talk, not listen. I also pre-paid for 6 months of unlimited data. The tablet they sent me was used. I called and reported it. They finally agreed to replace it (with prepaid postage). They did nothing more than send me another used tablet that was scratched up on the bottom. (There was no prepaid postage either.) I took pictures and sent the replacement tablet back along with pics and a letter. I didn't tell them, at that time, that we had proof that the first tablet was used. We wanted to give them a chance to get things right. They ignored all calls, messages, and other forms of communication after that. Now, they are no longer with T-Mobile. Absolutely HORRIBLE! I have had this service for a few months now and throughout it I only had like 7 days worth of internet and the rest was mo internet. You can't get a hold of any representative there only from email which is also horrible. They only run through Tmoible and their modems dont work at all. This company has terrible internet customer service. Our service goes down about every 3 months for at least 2 weeks. They send a SIM card and tell you your internet will be up and running the next day and then tell you the card needs to be activated. 8 days later no response. You can't talk to anyone on the phone, only a chat line or email. Don't use these people if you don't have to. read more

Useless customer service, useless service in general. I've not had data for a month now since they sent me a new SIM that was supposed to cure all their (my) connection troubles. When I was able to get someone on the chat line (chat line since been removed) I was told they were backed up on the activation of new SIMs and I would be connected shortly. That was two weeks ago. Extremely poor customer service. It is very difficult to reach a live person on the phone and when you leave a message, it can be days before you hear from anyone. Emailing is a little faster but if you need tech-support, you're out of luck. The technicians may "disappear" while you're trying to work with them to troubleshoot an issue. A few months back, we decided to switch from T Mobile to Impact Wireless for our ISP, heck, we were going to get more than twice the data for less money! It was fine for a month or two, but then the 'fun' began. Constantly having the 'refresh' our line, set up a static APN, all to no avail. Service was pretty much unusable. Many times their support people would ignore my emails and I never did get anyone to answer the phone. During the pandemic, I've been fortunate to be able to work from home, so internet access is a must. It's a good thing I had my work-issued iPhone so that I could use that as a hotspot, otherwise I'd have been in deep trouble. My iPhone would get speeds of 5 mbps down while Impact would get 0.5 mbps down. I did extensive comparison testing and asked their support people why there was such a difference. I got no response. Finally I got fed up and cancelled the service and went back to T Mobile, which was faster and reliable...oh, guess what? They're resellers for T Mobile, yet they can't get T Mobile speed or reliability. I would not recommend this company. PS. Just got an email from them last night. It said, in part "If you are currently having connection issues, or have been the last few days, our entire carrier account is being refreshed at the moment. Please power cycle your devices over the next few hours and this update should start to solve the issues. The national carrier is working on it right now, and you all should begin to see solutions over the next few hours. Remember to power cylce [sic] the device you have the sim card in. That will let the update take place as they get to all the individual lines. This may be a process that could last the next few hours, but it will be completed as quickly as possible and we hope to have everyone restored soon. Thank you for your patience. " This has been their mantra for months and they're still not getting it right. It may not be their fault, but the service is what it is. Unusable. read more

We too, were customers for years. It USED to be great. You could call and talk to someone. Internet was great! Then, service started to get bad. So we bought another hotspot. They do wear out after awhile. Then we bought thier crappy router and alicorn unit. It was even worse. So they tell us that we need to replace our SIM cards and to activate it once you get it. Then once your old internet stops working, switch. This is when they stopped answering the phone. FInally, after we swapped SIM cards, they say "we can no longer provide unlimited to you and these guys will handle you now" Way to not be honest and upfront. Thats a slimy way to do business. And when you look at the "company" that us supposed to handle us, it looks like the stopped in the middle of setting up thier website. Now we are looking for a better carrier. Customer Service is pretty responsive and has taken care of my issues. The thing you have to make sure of is the ability of your location to get ample wireless reception. I am currently getting 15 to 20mb download and about 3 to 5mb upload. I use netgear hot spot connected directly to may ASUS router, as well as a small wireless indoor antenna to help the constancy of the the connection to the cell tower. The family really likes the ability to just grab the hot spot and go when we travel or go into town for something. The service is real an we have had not buffering. We use A LOT of GBs. I work from home and the kids are home-schooled. We also use Roku for all our TV use as well as play online games. It took a little trial and error to get the wireless connection to the cell tower set up right, but once you figure that out it works great. read more

Purchased a cell phone that was Described as "new in the Box in" . After they set it up for me, they handed me the with box With all the "original accessories in" . To my disappointment they tried to give me a used Motorola old charger with an adapter cord. Not new in the Box with used accessories... they did make it right, but not without personally admitting that they were disette give on their description. Buyer beware. read more

Their tech support simply caused me to be locked out of the device with no way to troubleshoot it. Internet is sooo bad. I live in an area where ISP's are just starting to venture out to. Just outside of Houston. I got this internet because the website advertised 50mbps at the time. (never reaches 10) Paid about $400 for equipment and service, only to have to use my phone hotspot most of the time to do work. It's that bad! When you call them they just basically say it's nothing they can do. They blame the T-mobil network and towers, but the equipment says at&t and both carrier's hotspots work just fine in the same house. They actually encourage you to just cancel service so they don't have to deal with you after you pay full price for the equipment which you keep and throw in a closet. The only good thing about the service is that the lack of it drove me to find out how to get fibers ran and I'm taking out a loan to get them ran to my house to get real internet! Oh and they say your speed doesn't slow down after so much usage, then when you call to see why it's taking 5 min for a page to load and uploads speeds won't reach 1mbps; they tell you, "well you've used a lot of internet so you've been de-prioritized." read more

BEWARE!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! We ordered service through Impact Wireless about a month ago. When we got the package in the mail it didn't work at all!! We called them and they said they would reset it. That didn't work. We called back again. They said T-Mobile was fixing their towers so it wouldn't work for over a week until they were done. We waited that whole time, still didn't work. We called back again. They said T-Mobile was still working on their issue. They told us to wait another few days. We waited almost a week. We kept restarting the machine daily. Could never get it to work. We called back and said we were tired of waiting so we just wanted to return it an get out money back. We sent them the device last week, in perfect condition. We called them today and they said they will NOT give us a refund because they machine is all broken and damaged. We told them we sent it in perfect condition. They told us that we didn't. They said,"You know what you did. You know you didn't send it back in working order". They said it looked like it had been kicked around in the dirt and totally bashed up. They said the shipping packaging was all intact. We asked them to send pictures so we could see. And they refused. The lady on the phone was SOOOO rude to my husband and then was SOOOO rude to me when I called to talk to them. I think this whole company is a SCAM!! They are just trying to find a way to keep our money. And I don't think they even prove internet to people. Our device NEVER worked. Do not use this company!!!!!!! WOW!!!!! This company sold me last year on paying $300 one-time for 9 years of phone service, it was for my son and I needed it for him to have an emergency phone so I fell for it. The service worked for about 9 MONTHS, not years, and then it just stopped. When I called Impact Wireless to figure out why, I was told that the service they sold was through Ruby 9 (whoever that is, I never signed anything with a company by this name). I was told that the Ruby 9 owner had taken all of our money and not paid the cell service bill of $80,000 and that I should call my bank to report it as fraud. My bank told me that I was outside the 90 day time frame to report fraud, so they suggested I take legal action against the company that sold me the cell service agreement. When I called Impact Wireless/One Wireless World back I spoke to Aiden who informed me that his manager, Tanya, was out of the office but that they would not refund my money and that I would need to pursue legal action. Contacting a lawyer now. It is not about the money at this point but about a company selling 9 years of service for a one-time up-front fee that lasts less than 1 year, it is a lie.
