I bought my wedding gown at an Alfred Angelo closeout sale nine months before my wedding date. Around four months later I brought the dress to a family friend whom my parents insisted I bring it to because she used to make wedding dresses. She ends up hanging on to the dress until a month before the wedding. When I get it back, I notice my dress was hemmed like a pair of pants, just folded over. The outer layer of my dress is lace and it looked like a loofa. My so-called bustle was a hole through the backside of my dress to just pull the hanger loop out from underneath. It was a mess. I showed my MOH and bridesmaids. It got to a point where they told me to just buy a new dress. I really liked my Disney dress so I made a few calls to some mobile seamstresses. They all said it was too late for my dress to be fixed. This is where Jeanette answers my call and says she could take a look and see if it can be done in 2 weeks. The next morning, I get off work from my night shift, shower, and rush on over to her place which was only 10 minutes away. I put on my dress and she starts to take apart the stitching my family friend did to the lace. It was salvageable. I saw all the dresses she had made and placed on display. I knew I was at the right place. She specialized in lace. Four days after I left my dress with Jeanette, she calls me saying my dress was finished. She really worked her magic! It was ahead of schedule and she lifted so much weight off my shoulders. I tried on the dress and it was perfect. She made a beautiful bustle with three hook points, and showed me how to find the hooks so I could show my bridesmaids. I cannot thank Jeanette enough for taking on the mess of my dress. I highly recommend her for dress alterations and custom made dresses.

The glitter layer that was added had an uneven trim that would show if I turned a certain way. The women were really nice. Great personalities, but the actual service itself was OK. I would have much rather she told me that she just didn't want to do it, or didn't have the time, than to insult my intelligence by telling me all the reasons it couldn't be done. One time I took new clothes I recently had purchased from a department store because there was a slight mildew odor. I did not notice the odor when I purchased them, only after I arrived home and removed the tags. The dry cleaner deodorize the clothes so there was no smell at all. I was so happy and amazed it got the odor out without ruining the clothes. I have also had my clothing altered with very good results. I will continue to use this dry cleaner, I have trust in them and the quality of the workmanship is very good. Nice people work there too, which means a lot to me.

After requesting that it shouldn't be paid for since it took four months, Chelsea said it wasn't really their problem since it's done by a third party. After contacting Tide through the website, David called me and began to argue that 100% silk Tommy Bahama shirts not only did NOT need to be dry cleaned, but he could stretch them back into shape. Wow, it is amazing to me that I had to "continually argue with a laundry expert" that 100% silk needed to be dry cleaned. I did not even attempt to argue with the stretching back into shape idiotic claim. I suggest you stay away from "expertise" like this! I for one will never use Tide again!!!

I would never recommend this place. They should not advertise that they re-tick feather pillows because they do not know what they are doing. They seem to be very disorganized. It took 2 months because they lost it and kept telling me they would call when it got to the right store in Meridian. I went in 3 times and finally have my flat pillow. I have had this pillow for 40 years and have had it re-ticked several times. I am pretty upset. They also "repaired" a pillow that my mother needlepointed and is is less than satisfactory. It needed a new back and they sewed on a piece of inferior material. DO NOT TAKE ANY ITEMS THAT YOU CARE ABOUT TO THIS CLEANER.
