I do not recommend this company whatsoever. I paid $105 a month for 8 gigabytes a month.. I tried to cancel my service and was on the phone for 45 minutes for them to go every way around BUT cancel. Asked how much I was paying now with a new provider multiple times trying to get me a better deal.. that could have been from the start. they continued to fight me on it when I said I don't need to explain myself just please cancel. Put on hold multiple times just to then be told it's $100 cancel fee. Then hold again to be told I have to pay $400 for an old box that had previously but went out on me. They sent me a new box and said the other one doesn't work anymore and no need to send it back, but yet I'm still required to pay for getting rid of it if I can't send it back. I believe this company is a scam and I was taken advantage of. My boyfriend called shortly after repeating everything I had just said and they immediately said they'd reverse the charges. They'll listen to a man but not the woman who was paying for the service. Sexism at its finest. Do not use this company you will not get your moneys worth nor a good experience. They will say and do whatever it takes to get more money out of you. We will be getting with our bank and reporting this fraud. read more

If I could rate this company -10000 I would! Worst experience EVER worst customer service EVER. I'd recommend this service to anyone who wants to have to call EVERY MORNING to get the internet back on since it turns off every morning for MONTHS now with no explanation every time we call. Now we can't even cancel because every number we call is "at capacity". Also, we get charged for "premium customer support" for calling to get our internet back on when it turns off every day. Worst customer service ever. No service on a Monday called. i was told new box would be sent to me within two weeks. I said unacceptable I offered An option of of overnighting the new box they said that is not possible. I told them about this new place called the post office where it is possible. Asked to cancel account. was told they did and in 24-48 hours they would email me a return label. That was all a lie. 2 days later my account was changed and price increased by 50%. called back and was told my account wasn't cancelled but i was thinking about cancelling. I attempted to set up service with Imperial Internet. The first red flag was when the router box that I paid $139.38 for never showed! The entire situation began on 9/7/2024. Two weeks ago, I requested a refund of my money. So far, I've spoken to Sam, Chris, Nick and Shaun. Personally, I think they're all the same person. I've had to ask my card service provider to open a claim to get my money back. They're operating under very shady circumstances. read more

Really wish I could give them negative stars. Internet has never been great in the 10 months we've had them, but we've had no internet at all for the last 3plus weeks, we call almost daily and the tell us every time that the router will be delivered in 48 hours. They are very hard to understand. We still have not received this router. We ended up getting different internet through another company and they still wont cancel the service or refund us because they are telling us we need to return the router that we have NEVER RECEIVED! This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. The customer service is terrible, they lie and give you the run around. I will be without internet for 2 weeks, waiting for them to mail me the equipment I need to receive service (their fault, not mine). I would not even give a one star rating if I didn't have to to .Pure trash service. If your internet goes down while it will all their phone numbers for customer service will not work. They shut their phone lines down and all their phone numbers will say there temporary disconnected. Find a better service.Don't waste your time or money. read more

My mom was moving to a new location and some how when she went to call Armstrong and transfer her service she ended up with Imperial. I called them right away. Agent tried to get me to open the box. I explained that it was a mistake and I was sending the equipment back. When they got the equipment they didn't credit my card back. I called and had to battle with the agent. It happened to be the same agent. First he was putting words in my mouth, then left me on long holds pretending to contact management. Once I started to see the games I got right to the point and said refund my card. He would not, saying the service was activated. Remember, I didn't open the box. Then he offered me only $50 return. I said absolutely not! I explained that I'll dispute with my bank. He told me GO AHEAD that the company will show proof that the service was active and I would end up spending more money disputing. Now I could tell that the company is definitely a scam! Plus, who pays for disputed transactions? Yes!!! this company is a scam. I saw one review saying they weren't a scam. The experience initially was just fine. Some minor issues here and there, but customer service was able to resolve them. However, in the last month, I've had approximately 7 days of service outage. Their only solution is to send a new router, which they said would be about 4-5 days. That was determined on 3/20/25, which was a Thursday. Customer service assured me they would do their best to rush the process. However, when I followed up with the company 3/25/25 (the following Tuesday) the shipping label for the replacement router had only just been created. And customer service advised it may be delivered some time in the next week. When I reached out to the billing department to ask if my bill could be prorated because I have had no service, I have had no response. Not even something indicating that they aren't able to accommodate my request. And this whole time I'm without Internet. I live in a rural area with poor cellular service and my wife works from home. WiFi is pretty important so we can work and stay connected and I feel like I've been given the runaround at every turn. It feels like at this point it would be more efficient to cancel service and just burn a $100 bill every month. read more

I got services in March. They charged me the day I called in, but I didn't get the equipment for 3 weeks, then the following week the charged me again. The service never work. I had to call in several times (like twice a week) and had to reset my modem 3-4 times a day. Every time I called in they did the same thing. "Is it by a window? Unplug and replug it in. This problem will never happen again" It happed again, daily. When I tried cancel the service they just tried to sell me more things, told me again that "It will never happen again" gave me a huge run around. Refused to refund me for services paid that did not work. Tried to charge me more money for services that did not work. Then told me I had to pay to send the equipment back. They were rude, dishonest, and honestly criminal about the whole thing. Anytime I asked for a manager my request was ignored. This service did not work, would not work, and they basically took advantage of my situation. I call to get internet spoke to the salesman pd 155.00 for router it's here in 2 days I explained I work from home and stream guess what 2 weeks later it is literally off no more gb sorry your used up what it is supposed to be unlimited!! Discovered they have been billing me since September and I do not have service through them. Bank says they were paid through PayPal which I never use and plus switched to Comcast Internet right before football season. No way I'm setting up two Internet accounts at the same time. I'm pretty sure this company is fraudulent. My mother called a local ISP to set up internet but was somehow transferred to Imperial instead. From there things got weird. They took her money for an overpriced internet plan and sent her a hotspot box that basically provided LTE cellphone internet. When we tried To cancel, the rep (man with Indian accent in loud call center) gave us a lot of resistanc, said he would "call us back in 30 minutes." Had to charge back with bank account. I called to get internet into our new home. Spectrum reportedly was the only company, which, OK I had them before. Then I got on the phone and it transferred me to another company, Imperial Internet. The rates seemed reasonable so we went with them (didn't really have any other choice really), but then when it came to payment things got weird. I have never had to pay any sort of utility bill on PAYPAL. Then I have tried to pay the next months bill and their "overdue invoice email" sent me to some bizarre zoho website, which does not appear legitimate. There was a clickable link on the invoice which did take me to an "Imperial Internet" website that appeared to have some semblance of legitimacy, but it declined my card both times, a card I JUST USE today. They have been blowing up my phone trying to get me to pay. My wife even used her card and it wasn't working. Then on one of the calls, they even offered to take payment in Zelle, what legitimate company can't get PAYMENT correct. Going forward, until they figure out their payment options, I am not paying them a dime. read more

company masqueraded as spectrum and told me spectrum didn't service my area (which is a huge lie) and that they were the only service in the area. had to setup initial payment via paypal which seems super sketchy, in hindsight I'm surprised they didn't ask me to sign up paying with Walmart giftcards. against my better judgment i decided to try them out, never did since equipment was held by an "agent" for nearly a week after it was supposed to be delivered to my address. the REAL spectrum serviced me the Following day, equipment and all. read more
