So at least Uber worked for that. I actually looked up on Yelp what towing services were nearby, got a quote, estimate, and an ETA on when they were going to be there. It was around $60 and took like 20 minutes for them to get to me and they were able to take my car from LA to SGV where the repair shop I wanted it to be dropped off was at. The tow truck was able to skillfully tow the car from a very tight parking spot, narrow street, that's weirdly at a corner of a hill. Thank you, kind sir. Stressful situation mitigated fairly decently.
