Love this pumpkin patch! Great place to bring your kids. My kids love to hold all of the baby animals, I don't know of anywhere else that allows you to do that so this place is really special. Definitely make plans to go at least once every year. :)

My kids had such an awesome time at this farm. They enjoyed petting all the animals, such as the baby goats, bunnies, piglets, and kittens. They also enjoyed getting to pick out their own pumpkins. This may be our yearly tradition.

I saw this little fella as I was walking past. He was not in the petting barn. He was in the back area. Just had to take a pic.

If you like to pick fresh berries and stone fruit straight from the source, then check out Impossible Acres Farm on the outskirts of Davis , CA, on Covell Road County 31. The 2023 u-pick season is open right now. The season opened on May 30 and runs approximately to July 30. They are open Wednesday-Sunday 8am-1pm. Don't expect them to be open or stay open on days with super hot temperatures. The u-pick section costs $3 to enter. Berries are $3.99/lb and the stone fruit is $1.75/lb. They have cherries, peaches, nectarines, plums, raspberries, and blackberries. But the cherry season just ended for them. The kind folks will point you in the right direction for the ripest and available fruit and berries so you don't have to wander aimlessly. The animal barn is also open, the entry fee for kids 1-12 years old is $6 and one accompanying adult is free. 13 years and older is $4. In October, they have a pumpkin patch. For more details, check out their instagram and website (Impossibleacrescom). The setup is simple. Nothing fancy. No carnival attractions, no picnic tables, no air conditioned shop, and no food venue. It's a working farm y'all complete with porta toilets.

Such a nice time!! Went during school hours so we basically got the place to ourselves. So many cute animals!

My favorite place to go in October :) Staff is always so friendly and I love to see all the cute animals every year. This year they had kittens, bunnies, goats, pigs, a donkey, sheep, ducks, and chickens. Kids are $6 and adults are $4 for the animals. Such a fun fall activity I look forward to every year.

Took my 2 year here on her birthday. A sweet way to celebrate my fall baby with her brother and cousins. My little girl loves animals. It is rare to get the opportunity to get up close to the animals so they really enjoyed it. Lots if hay structures to climb on. The pumpkin patch was really pretty it had green pumpkin vines among the pumpkin which made it a really nice photo spot.

We came here upon recommendation from a coworker for their petting farm. It was $4 for our 2-year old which includes admission for one adult, and then we had to pay $6 for a second adult since our daughter was free under 1 year old. There were several animals to pet and each area has their own rules, and some have an age minimum to hold the pets. We went 30 minutes after they opened on a Saturday and it was already pretty busy and the parking lot was almost full, so I'd definitely recommend coming early! We were still able to easily get to each animal though and it was so cool for my son to get up close and not behind the gates like most places! They have hand washing stations also which made for easy cleanup afterward. It would be nice if they had maybe a food truck or some kind of drink vendor so it would make you want to hang around after. But otherwise it's a great place that isn't too overpriced and fun for the family!

Review #320 - 2018 I…read morehad this place bookmarked after seeing all their ads on Facebook announcing their "You Pick Pomegranates" for just one weekend a year. My sister's family really likes pomegranate so I decided to invite her to come along. We originally planned to visit this place on Saturday, but she had something else come up for her kid's school so we ended up coming on Sunday, October 21st. I showed up around 9:30 AM, and there were a whole lot of cars already parked in their lot. My sister texted me & said she was about 45 minutes away so I decided to sit in the car & wait, since my daughter was still sleeping in the backseat. When she finally showed up around 10:30 AM, it was getting pretty hot so my daughter was not a happy camper. Not enough sleep and heat does not make a baby happy. However, we managed to collect two 5-gallon buckets in about an hour. Actually, her little family did all the work while I played photographer. Hahaha The kids had a lot of fun picking their own fruits. My sister was kind of disappointed that we showed up so late since most of the bigger fruits have already been picked. We were still able to find some decent sized ones. I got a $20 box and she got a $25 box. I ended up keeping only 4 for myself and took the rest to my brother's house to let my other siblings pick what they want from it. My sister says next year we have to come back earlier on a Saturday so we can get first pick. Sounds like a plan!

Loads of delicious pomegranates remember to bring a pair of gloves when you pick!…read more Love local organic fruit!

Wow!, if you love sunflowers and photo shoots, this is a quick and convenient way to visit. I was surprised, there were no reviews on this place yet. If you're traveling from the South, exit Sparling Lane and turn left at Kidwell. If traveling from the North, exit Kidwell Lane. Have to say, I was sad the flowers had passed their optimum beauty. However, you might still be able to spot a few sunflowers looking bright and perky. The field is surround by a trench with water but it's easy to jump over. Lots of ppl around taking photos. Bear in mind, there are a lot of bees doing their wonderful pollination here, so beware if you are allergic to bee stings. I'm guessing June would be the best time to enjoy these whimsical sunflowers. At the end of Kidwell and Olmo Lane, there is also small patch of wild flowers in pinks and purples. Also a great place to stop and visit, for those flower lovers. I read online that Cloverleaf farm is a small part of Collin farms. Will definitely return next year, to capture these whimsical flowers at their best. Enjoy!!!

I pre pealed the mandarins before the party so they were easy to much on and it was a success. We also got some kiwis. I belive it was a bag of 6 for $0.99. A great deal for kiwis. Last time I got them and saved them in the fridge and they lasted a week. These are a bit soft so hopefully they will last just as long. We also got a head of Lettuce for under $2 which is a good deal. It's nice and fresh, we got iceberg this time and it was a big head. Last time we got green leaf and the time before that we got the red leaf. All very fresh. Parking was easy. When we arrived maybe when we got there we saw 5 cars in the parking lot so we got a space right up front. When we left it over doubled, it was still easy to get out. Traffic flows well. The Flower Barn is located on a beautiful property where you can also enjoy brunch, host a wedding, or explore the garden grounds, all of which seem worth experiencing on their own. As someone who loves creative activities, this was an experience I would highly recommend. Walking into the Flower Barn felt like stepping into a magical storybook cottage. Dried flowers hung from the ceiling and lined the walls, creating an incredibly aesthetic and charming atmosphere. It is definitely a place where you will want to take photos. We were welcomed by Sandra, who was sincere, warm, and genuinely caring. She provided helpful guidance throughout the workshop and was wonderful to talk to. She would often bring over additional flowers that matched the look and feel I was going for, which made the experience feel very personal. You are able to make your bouquet as large or as small as you like, as long as it fits inside the provided metal container. The hospitality extended beyond just Sandra. The owner and Kim, the social media manager, were also very welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had. It felt like everyone there truly cared about making the experience special. At the end of the workshop, you bring your finished bouquet in the metal container to Sandra, and she carefully wraps it in paper and ties it with a ribbon. That final touch made the whole experience feel even more thoughtful and complete. Overall, I highly recommend this workshop not only for the creative joy of working with dried florals, but also for the genuine kindness and hospitality shown throughout the event. I will definitely be back to create another bouquet or try one of their other activities.

And the entrance is a tiny little path just big enough for a car with a patch of dirt for parking. We checked in, inside the barn with a very nice person who is very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of lavender and the operations of the location. Our friends were getting married and they picked this location for the beautiful lavender fields which was not only visually gorgeous but smelled amazing and calmed the body and mind simply being in the vicinity. There were people taking photos for all sorts of things, from maternity photos to family portraits to visually appealing instagram photos, to getting married on the fields. Our friends who was getting married, was given beautifully handpicked lavender bouquets for the occasion and we were the last party to leave with no hassle for the occasion. They sold many different things in the barn and it was hard not to buy lavender flavored things and scented things to bring home but we have a cat so we couldn't, since lavender is toxic to them. I cannot stress enough how gorgeous this place is and how calming it was to just be there. Even if you don't have a special occasion, and need a place to be and take in the lavender fields, I recommend coming here and checking it out. Just remember it's by appointments only.
