I went in excited to get my nails done, but I left genuinely upset. From the moment I sat down, the energy felt off -- not welcoming or professional. The tech barely greeted me, didn't ask any clarifying questions, and seemed more focused on rushing through the appointment than actually doing a good job. The shape and length were nothing like what I asked for, the design didn't match my reference photo at all, and she didn't even touch my cuticles. It felt incomplete. On top of that, she drilled so aggressively she hit my skin, and now my finger is in actual pain. She left gel polish on my skin too -- just really sloppy work. I paid for a service that should've made me feel good, and instead I left uncomfortable and disappointed. I would give zero stars. I called and asked prior to making my appointment if they did acrylic. Yes. I needed 2 nails fixed that I broke. I travel so I needed them fixed. The tech was on her phone the whole time. I asked if she could do white acrylic for my French tips. She says yes. I noticed the jar said gel and she did my nails in gel even tho I specified acrylic. This "salon" lies telling you what you want to hear to make appointment. I get my nails done maybe once or twice a year and so my cuticles and heels get bad. But they honestly do SUCH a great job of getting the dead dry skin off. I feel so clean and new. They are so nice there and the salon is so clean. Bee does an amazing job on my nails.

I will start out by saying.... They are very fast and polite. They are very friendly and efficient. Something important to note: after the lockdown was over I started going to get my nails done again. They had informed me and other clients they were unable to do regular nail polish and could only do gel nail polish. I thought it was very odd. I called around to other nail salons and there is no such guidelines which tells me, this is not an honest company and decided I will no longer go there. That is very disheartening that they would force people to pay a higher amount and take advantage of their customers by lying under these circumstances. Another not to add: They seem really pushy about tips. I am a huge believer in tipping but the way they go about getting tips totally rubbed me the wrong way. (P.s. I believe everyone deserves a tip regardless of the job they do. I do think excellent service deserves a much higher tip than normal. [normal tip being 15%]) Although they are nice people and do an alright job I will not be returning to this place of business. read more

My wife and daughters have had occasionally good experiences when they go in together for nails. But due to the way they take advantage of my daughters' youth when attending alone, we are done. My daughter earned $ towards getting her nails done with Impress. She came back very upset because the nail technician didn't ask her what she wanted for shape or length and just started to cut them so short that there was nothing that could be done at that point. She left upset and went back the next day to ask if they could fix them. They said nothing could be done unless she paid full price again to redo them. No discount, nothing. I've overlooked the past upcharges that occur when my minor daughters come in on their own without their mother present, but this kind of customer service has put a permanent end to sending in 6 regular customers. read more

I have been there three times for a pedicure. the first two times DeeDee did an AMAZING job! my feet were soft, she took her time and I was very impressed. today I went in and another woman did my predicate. my feet are still rough as she hardly scrubbed them at all and my polish that was supposed to be white looks opaque. If I could give 0 stars I would! Do NOT go here! I use to come here a few years ago on a very consistent basis. Today I went in for my appointment that I scheduled 4 days prior. When I got there the lady at the front told me there was no record of my appointment. I told her I spoke to a man on the phone and she preceded to tell me no man works at the salon and I must have messed up and called the wrong place. I looked at my phone call log and noted I called the correct salon. I showed my phone to the lady and she didn't care told me I had to come back later. The ONLY reason why I came back was because I had a gift card to use. I came back and guess who was sitting at the desk managing appointments and customers coming into the salon..... A MAN! Weird!!!???? I thought she said a man didn't work there... she told me no men work here this is my high school son but he doesn't actually work here... oh so he doesn't work there but he manages appointments and customers who walk in... okay... Again I ONLY preceded because I had a gift card. The lady who did my nails was nice but I didn't love the color she tried another color and I just agreed that I liked it because at that point I just wanted out of the salon. I would NOT recommend this nail salon. I started coming at the beginning of the summer 2021. The nail technician talked me into the dip as opposed to gel, which I tried and liked. After my first appointment, I always made appointments and ALWAYS had to wait consistently a minimum of 30 minutes (I was always on time). The last appointment I made, I walked in 8 minutes late because of an accident on 94. Ling (the nail tech) looked up from her customer who she wasn't even half way through with, and told me "you were late, so now you have to wait." I opted to get a pedicure while I "waited" but all in all, it was an HOUR and 45 minutes before I was sitting in her chair getting my nails done. She was rushed, rude and did a hack job on my nails. Didn't even do the color I picked. As people were coming in, they were telling them 5 minute wait...which was such a lie. When I left, she didn't even say thank you and I was just disgusted by the level of service I received. Within 2 days, my nails were peeling up at the cuticles, so I called in and Ling was the one who took my call. She argued with me, told me it was my fault for being late, but said I could come back and she would fix them. SHE CAKED THE DIP ON SO THICK at this appointment, my new nail tech in a NEW salon was in complete awe, and it took her twice as long to remove it as a normal dip service. Very welcoming!!! They have lots of colors to choose from! I got a pedicure and my sister got a full set dip. Pam did my pedicure and even know they were just about to close she took her time! She massaged me made sure to file the gel off instead of peeling it off! I switched my color 5 different times and she didn't make me feel bad about it! My toes were too small for the toe spacers she even took time to make her own so my toes spread comfortably! It takes a lot to please me and I am overly pleased she went above and beyond! And it was only 50$ I even got chameleon polish! Very clean and proper! My sister got her nails done and they look amazing! We will be back! read more

I've gotten my nails done here several times. I get a manicure with gel polish on my natural nails. I've been getting manicures for years and I can always feel confident that my nails will turn out nicely when I go to Impress Nails. The techs are always polite. I usually do walk in appointments so I try to choose times during the day where they'll be less busy (like not going at 5pm when everyone is getting off work) and I've never had to wait more than 5-10 min for a chair. I made an appointment and took my two granddaughters in for the three of us to get pedicures together. When we first arrived we were told we may not be allowed to wait for our toenails to dry if we went with regular polish and they needed the space. At that time we sat down and when we left there were 6 -8 open pedicure spas available. My one granddaughter went first. My water was barely warm when we started. I waited for the other two nail techs to come and they didn't. I finally asked if there were other techs going to work on us and she said yes. We waited. I told her that my water was cold and she acknowledged my comment but left my feet in cool water. She was just finishing up with my one granddaughter when another woman started working on my 2nd granddaughter. I waited. My feet remained in now cold water. She finally got to me and added warm water. All in all we were there nearly 2 hours for 3 pedicures that were done one after the other not together!!! Do NOT go here if you have natural nails! My nails were in perfect condition ....I went in for a simple manicure....After waiting for over an hour...Vicky did my nails. She used her electric buffer ( meant for acrylic Nails only) on my natural nails and ruined them! They are paper thin and they all broke off. They are now so short I can't even put polish on them. It will take MONTHS to get them healthy and back to where they were. If they aren't interested in maintaining healthy natural nails...they shouldn't do them!! I've gone twice: once for a gel manicure and later for a regular pedicure. The technicians and staff are very polite and the atmosphere is welcoming. My nails were beautifully done. They chose to shave off my gel color polish rather than soak it off which caused my nails to be very thin. The tech also did not apply a base coat which caused the gel to stick to my nail. After going to a proper salon I am disappointed And don't think I'll return even though it's right down the street from me. I went to this location because they said there is no wait when I called. When I got there she said it'll be a few minutes, so I figured that was reasonable. I waited 15 minutes to be seated. Then she left me sitting there to go do someone else's nails. 10 minutes later she comes over and says I need a new set of nails. I was like "No, I just need them filled" she kept insisting I get a new set. (I literally just got these out on the week before) anyways she goes on to fill the nails, when she was done, you could see the line from where the old nails was. The woman who did my nails was kind and careful, which was definitely appreciated as my feet have been cut or clipped too closely at other places. However, the woman who was doing my friend's gel manicure had her several minutes before she was able to get started and then left mid-manicure and never returned. She had done a minimal job, didnt clean up her cuticles, seemed like minimal effort. After 10-15 minutes of waiting, another nail tech interrupted her own client to apply the gel so we could go. I'm new to the area and heard that Impress Nails was the place to go for any hand and feet service. People were right! I had the "Deluxe Pedicure" with Lee and it was awesome! She spoke English and the pedicure was great! The salt scrub, mud mask, and hot towel wraps were amazing! The polish lasted FOREVER. The salon is CLEAN and spacious. The pricing is reasonable but bring cash because they do not allow tips to be added to the credit card and do not accept checks. I'm happy to say I have found my regular salon stop! Although the employees were friendly the service they performed was horrible. I have been getting acrylic fills for over ten years. Worst fill I have every had. They barely filed each nail resulting in ridges. Did not pay attention to sides of each nail & fill as needed. Didn't shape them how I asked. The polish looks bad due to ridges.
