I went in for a gel manicure and had a picture of the manicure I wanted; 3 people said they could match the colors. She did not match the colors at all. I also asked for a round shape and she gave me square. They talked me into a powder so that it would make my manicure last longer. I have never had this done before. I asked if my nails would end up thin with the drilling afterwards and they said no. I kept them on for almost 2.5 weeks but I could not stand how thick they turned out. I went back into have them removed. The woman drilled my nails down so far I can see through them. They are paper thin. I had my eyebrows tinted and they had two people work on them. The color was barely on and the artist never asked how dark I wanted them. She was busy doing nails at the same time. She basically had her friend take over who did not know what she was doing. My service included a manicure and a full set with gel powder. It was done by Helen. The shape and color is very pretty however I felt the application of the gel powder was rushed and not applied exceptionally. I work a lot with my hands so I usually have a bruise or few. Helen was a bit aggressive with my hands and the filling caused my cuticles to bleed a little. Secondly, my manicure was done after my full set. I thought this was backwards but I didn't mind. My manicure was rushed because it was done around closing time. Although she was very kind and accepted my criticism, I believe that the service could've done better. Decided on this location based on reviews listed on Yelp. This was my first time getting a dip manicure and so I did not know what to expect as I have only done gel prior. I did pick out a powder color at the beginning and when the technician went to get the powder it was empty which was fine I did find a different color as they do have a large variety of colors to pick from. The nail tech was more interested in his phone vs the electric tool in his hand to my nail which made me very uncomfortable. He proceeded to continue to look at his phone and check his bank account while doing my nails also. If i could give this place -5 stars I would. I can give you a summary of my terrible experience at this salon. Technician stopped over two dozen times to touch his phone (uncleanly especially during CoVid-19) so he could continue playing on his gambling app. Technician was shown one photo of a nude and pink french, asked to recreate specifically with whatever colors he had on had that was close. Technician couldn't determine colors, so I selected a simpler photo, pink and black, he told me this was easier for him so we went ahead with that design. Then he couldn't find the pink acrylic powder. After he found the powder he had to get up again in the middle of the application to do God knows what for five minutes, while he rushed through the entirety of my service. Application was done okay, but when I get up to wash my hands apparently he asked me "What color?" I did not hear that, as well as would have assumed that since he stated he could recreate the photo, I wouldn't need to get up to pick out a BLACK color as he already laid down a pink acrylic. He then shouted "WHAT COLOR?" In an extremely disrespectful tone. During filing, I noticed prior to even touching the emery board on my nails that there was white fillings already on the board. I should have been T'd off from the beginning when I noticed how disgustingly filthy his monomer liquid was. In my better judgement I would have and should have immediately left the salon. Nails began to peel after one day because he globbed so much top coat on it dripped down the sides into my cuticles and was unable to cure properly then. By day five I lost the pointer finger on my right hand. Now let me drop a bomb for ya, I came to find out this was the OWNER. Did not tip, and I should not have paid. I would recommend you run far away from the shop. And one minor note, they are performing eyebrow waxes at set nail stations, which is illegal per the MN State Board of Cosmetology. I am also not positive but willing to bet the young woman I saw performing the services was NOT a licensed esthetician & only a licensed nail technician, which again, is again MN State Board of Cosmetology. read more

The price is cheap ($28). I wanted acrylic nails but got the home fake nails with super glue and then they topped on acrylics. Wasnt expecting that. I wanted something super natural where it looks like my real nails. I told them that but mines is not cute (look at pics). Also my nail tech, Anna burnt my nails three times. And because they used the cheap nails to glue on first, my last two fingers (ring and pinky) on both sides are not curved inwards but outwards ALSO only those four fingers are leaning towards right.(look to pictures). Went for a pedicure and the technician tried to use a dirty callous remover. I said it was dirty and he said it wasn't. He then went to the back - I assumed to get a clean one. No. He came out with the same one that he slightly cleaned. It had the residue from someone else's foot. Nails Touch was OUT of TOUCH with honesty and accurate timelines . What they gave me was a very disappointing afternoon. Customer service and communication was poor for three reasons. 1) When I called and asked for an appointment, they said they could get me in for a manicure if I came in 15 minutes, This was not true. No one was even remotely available when I got there. 2). After asking for an estimate of how long I would need to wait, they gave me another false timeline saying iit would 10 minutes for a manicure. This was not true either. 3). After waiting 30 minutes, I asked if there was an accurate time line someone could provide me. I was met with apologies and no answers. Repeating my question I was passed between three people and still no one could answer. I had now wasted 45 minutes and left because I felt I had been lied too. I have been here many times (years) and the people rotate like the days of the week AND the service is always iffy.. I went last Sunday to get a pedi and mani and spent $52 and the mani lasted less than 24 hours. Since I had time today to get my nails repainted I went in to get a repaint. She told me $17 just for a repaint. AND then they had to talk about it for several minutes in their language??? I mean how rude, is the price that secretive? This is probably the worst place I've ever been to. The lady that did my manicure was cutting my cuticles and I started bleeding. She never apologized for cutting me. Also, I stayed there drying my nails for a good 20 minutes and I asked her to come over to check if it's dried and she touched both my mani and pedi and said "yes it's dry just be careful" I think she may had said that because they were closing. Worst manicure I've ever paid for! My nails were filed crooked and not even at all, she didn't trim my cuticles like she should have, and no hand or arm massage. My little niece does a nicer job on my nails. I'm so disappointed in my service. I asked her to straighten my nails and she looked at me like I was crazy. Do she kept them crooked and uneven. I complained to another employee and they all came to look at them. They saw the shoddy job and as I was getting my nails dried they were trying to take a cuticle clippers to them with my nails wet. I've been here many times before but I will never ever get a manicure here again. Also.. it took all of 15 minutes for my service, which is pretty sad. I get my nails done about every two weeks. I get mani's and pedi's. I have gone lots of places over the years. I wish this place were better because it's the closest nail salon to my house. The pedicures here are just okay. They don't do a lot of heel work like most other places. You can get some heel work, but you have to spend another $10 and get the Luxury Pedi. Well, I can get the extra work with a regular pedi at Hollywood Nails down the street so... Also, the last time I went here I got gel nails that bubbled within a few hours of having them done. The staff is mostly nice, but there are some people who work here who are kind of abrupt and mean. I went to see Helen at Nail's Touch for the first time last weekend. One word: AMAZING! It was easily the best mani/pedi of my life. Helen has serious attention to detail and spends a lot of time perfecting your nails. I work and live nearby nails touch. I started going for gel polish and everytime I went they got the gel all over my cuticles and it had tiny bubbles in it. I went in shortly after that for a polish change on my acrylics. They ground into my natural nail with the dremmel tool. I haven't been back since. Months later a nail popped off and the weak spot in my nail has cracked in half. Plus they are dirty and I've never seen them use clean tools. this place is dirty and they don't know what they're doing. Please don't go here for your own safety. read more
