The waitress arrived shortly after our seating and took our appetizer and drink order. We started with the Triple B. The fries came out quickly, were hot, fresh and delicious. The drink I ordered was out, but the waitress gave another option, but unfortunately that was out as well. Ended up having an old favorite, Guinness. For our meals we ordered the smoked brisket French dip and the wagyu burger. Upon ordered the burger our waitress informed us there was a shortage of patties and if we still wanted the burger we would get one patty instead of two, but at a lower cost. Both dishes were amazing and we couldn't finish them as both the fries and the entrees were larger in comparison to other places we have eaten. Overall this was a great experience with great food. The only thing we had difficulty with is having to use the phone flashlight to read the menu as the lighting was really dim. Will definitely return if we take another trip here.

Over the years, I have visited the Chattanooga choo-choo many times. Back in high school, I was…read morepart of a conference, held on site, and remember it feeling majestic. Even younger, I can remember visiting here with my parents. I remember on those early early trips, eating at a restaurant on site or the servers sing to you. There were a lot of interesting things about the choo-choo. This latest visit, not at all. The train car rooms are all under construction, and that rear patio area where the cars live were equally under construction. The grand lobby that I remember is not used by the hotel at all right now, instead, a location of frothy monkey coffeehouse, and a bar. I felt sorry for the poor guests staying there, because their a check in was to the rear of the property, and everything about that interest insurance looks like a roadside motel from the 70s. We paid to park here, and wandered around, but everything other than the bar closed at 5 PM. We toured everything in about a half an hour, and then left to head elsewhere, because there was literally nothing to see and nothing to do. Sad.

The show here was kind a like a play if you ask me complete with 4 actors and 4 actresses and even a piano player. It lasted for about an hour and a half. It was funny with some skits that even made you laugh. They probably had 4 or 5 skits and each was ended simply by someone running around the stage. Then, they would act out a different scene. I guess this is the improv way. They have a web site where you can check their schedule for upcoming events. Yeah, I would go back again, you bet.
