We came here to see my buddy headline and bought tickets the day before. I accidentally bought tickets to the wrong show intitially and even though their website was there are no refunds, they did so anyway. The location is in a very fun entertainment district so we enjoyed dinner beforehand. Once there, we were seated in the first 2 rows as guaranteed by our tickets that were $5 more than regular ones. Our view was good but it is pretty small so there is probably not a bad seat. Our server was great getting us our drinks and dessert without too much interrupting (There is a $5 minimum per person). Once the show was over, we went next door to the attached bar to enjoy some drinks. read more

We had just had dinner and did not realize they had a dinner menu, the food prices were very reasonable but cannot tell you much. Drink prices were very reasonable. This was a great date night. 15.00 show tickets, 2 drinks each tab 22. 00 bucks, 12.00 for parking so a great evening out for just under 75.00. I definitely recommend this place. Another experience of purchasing tickets online and didn't know what to expect. We got there early. Dad dropped mom (in a wheelchair) and I off while he went to park the van. So we had about an hour wait outside for the venue to open. The staff was overly helpful and accommodating. The food was good (for bar food) and that drinks were great! We went to see Zoltan and were additionally entertained by the local performers and another hilarious gentleman (added bonus). When 7 o'clock came around the intro music was a little startling but it was only to get everyone's attention that the show was about to begin. 2 hours of laughter was just what the doctor ordered. Sadly, after the show mom was tired of sitting and we had to leave...I didn't get the chance to take a picture with Zoltan. I will definitely be going back to the Comedy Catch. Their comedy acts run the gamut, from up-and-coming comedians during the week to nationally touring headliners on the weekends. We go as often as we can because we firmly believe laughter is good for the soul. The staff, Daniel and Dan, are super accommodating and responsive to all our needs. The seats are very affordable, about the same as a movie ticket and popcorn. We also enjoy meeting the comedians after the shows. This place reminded us a lot of Zanies in Nashville. Great comics! They require a $5 food and/or beverage purchase. I had the wings which were pretty good. Wife had a salad. Staff are super friendly and professional. We arrived a little early for our late show and waited in the bar which got a little crowded because it is a small space, but we didn't have to wait long. Tickets were checked on our phones when we were seated. There was one loud and obnoxious patron who kept yelling out, but the comic handled it like a pro and shut him up every time. This is inside the historic Chattanooga Choo Choo and has a fine restaurant and coffee shop inside as well. Glad to see this place is growing. We went here last night and saw 3 comedians, and all they did was talk about being gay or how his sister was . They also made black comments. It was very disappointing!! Plus, a lady in the audience was drunk and commented or yelled out every time the comedian made a joke. After all theirs rules about behavior and interrupting the show, you will be asked to leave...that never happened, and the last comedian even had enough of her. Never again will I see a show here. I've been to a lot of comedy clubs across the country, and this one is probably the worst. We came here on a Thursday night and, let's just say we will never be able to get the 1.5 - 2 hours back in our lives. There were six comedians, and only one of them made us laugh - the others were more about how dirty the language could be and were under the assumption the majority of the audience were frequent users of cocaine. They did have great waitstaff and food, particularly the donuts. That, however, does not overcome the lack of talent on the stage. If you're looking for something to do in Chattanooga go find a park, a bar, a nice restaurant but by all means avoid this place! read more

We had so much fun here on a Valentine's Day date! Wasn't sure what exactly to expect but was pleasantly surprised. The comics were funny and the girls serving so attentive and sweet. We paid a little extra to sit up front and it was worth it. It's a VERY casual place, so don't dress up and look out of place like I did. The food is definitely frozen bar food, so I'd recommend maybe spending your money on alcohol instead. We live down the street, looking forward to coming back! read more

We saw Dusty Slay here on 10/16 for the 730 show and WOW! He's hilarious. We traveled from Nashville to see him! If he comes back- SEE THE SHOW! His opener Chance Willie was equally as hilarious. The service was great and helpful as well. PRO TIP!!! Order the donuts!!! They are cinnamon sugary goodness ESPECIALLY when dipped in the chocolate sauce. This review is strictly about the Brunch With The Queens event. My brunch group picked this for our April brunch get together and I was super excited to go to this event. The show was lots of fun and I'm glad they've found a new home to continue with the event, but the brunch, that left something to be desired. There was a buffet of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, and I think some potatoes. It wasn't necessarily bad. The eggs were good, the biscuits good, everything else was, eh, so so. It was more the disorganization of it. No one could figure out where the cutlery was, and then all they offered were plastic forks. I asked for a knife and was told by the owner that they didn't think anyone would need knives so they didn't put any out. They also only had cocktail napkins set out and we had to ask several times for napkins. There was no salt and pepper out, as welll as any condiments. Now I know that they offer brunch from the Backstage Bar establishment, which shares a kitchen and staff from the Comedy Catch. I'm pretty sure they don't give those patrons plastic utensils. It was almost like the food was an afterthought, even though it was billed as "brunch". The servers were very nice and did their best to assist us with our many requests for knives, napkins, ketchup, spoons, more napkins, etc. Hopefully the future brunches learn from this one. read more

This place is a "catch". Seriously one of my favorite establishments in Chattanooga. I have been several times and always have a blast. The last show I went to was with an ex-trucker lady that almost made me pee my pants laughing. Great spot to grab beers by the bucket and just enjoy- they also have the most incredible chocolate cake.... Not a place for someone easily offended or someone looking to complain about a JOKE. It's 2022 and this is the first place I've been able to laugh and not worry about looking around to gauge the room when something isn't politically correct. Food was good, wait staff was good, show was good. Where my issue lies is the management of the establishment. My group of 6 was sat it a tiny corner and when asked to move the owner came up causing a scene trying to act like we were crazy for not wanting to eat with our food in our laps. There were plenty of empty tables around! The wait staff even apologized for the way he acted. This is a very tough review to write... My husband took me here for a date night and the opening act was hysterical- better than the main act! The main act was good, too. Three stars for the following reasons: The camera they have must be from 1975... My old Nokia flip phone has better picture than this place. Cameras are cheap enough now that there is no excuse for this - go to Costco and install a decent camera PLEASE. The sound system is so off in there it was almost painful. I'm not expecting a Sonos system, though that system would balance itself to the room... Please update the audio systems- it's not that expensive. Also, they play a video of the manager talking about the rules and upcoming acts. If the manager is the one hitting play on the video, it would be much classier and more personable to go up and speak to the audience about these things. If I want to watch a video, I can stay home and have better resolution... read more

The comedy was ok - a good time. The food, however, was absolutely the worst meal any of us have ever ordered. I had the chicken avocado caprese salad. I had to spit the chicken out into a napkin it was so bad. The avocado was not ripe, the mozerella was tasteless and the tomatoes were even bland. One of my friends got the patty melt. The bread was burned and she only ate a few bites it was so bad. My other friend ordered a burger which was also terrible and left uneaten. The only edible thing we had was nachos and queso. Typically we have a good time when coming here, so tonight we expected to enjoy our night out. My niece came in from N.C. So we booked 3 tickets. Tonight was an unexpectedly $27 per person so we assumed it was a great comic! The tickets aren't usually so high. $91 for 3 tickets. Unusually high!!! So, I fell asleep! Literally! We went to the comedy catch tonight with a big group for my SO's holiday work party. I am rating 3 stars as an average of the two categories: Food and Show. First of all, the comedy show's main act was amazing. 5 stars for that. I did not care for the openers but it's all personal preference - I get that. For a Thursday night show the main act was great enough to give 5 stars. I don't even like comedy shows and had a lot of fun. It was a great mix of comedy, entertainment, music - there was a little bit of everything! The food, however, was horrendous. My SO ordered beef tips and I ordered chicken piccata. Both came with green beans and mashed potatoes. The sides were okay but both of the meat dishes were nearly inedible. The gravy on both had lumps of flour still in them - they hadn't been mixed correctly. The piccata sauce was completely sour with way too much lemon, but the chicken itself was cooked alright. The sauce made it inedible. The beef tips sauce tasted okay but the tips themselves were extremely tough and sinew-y/stringy. It literally popped in the mouth. Gross. I am not sure if all of the food is bad but these were our two choices we had with our group. It was gross. I would go back again for the show but probably would not order the food. read more

We went to The Comedy Catch for Dusty Slay's performance. The venue wasn't the best as the tables and chairs were pretty tight. Most comedy clubs have the minimum purchase requirements, as this one did as well. The only complaint is that the quality of food doesn't tend to be that great. The reason for the 3-Star was based on Dusty's performance. He was hilarious and definitely recommend if you get the opportunity to see him. Me and my two friends drove almost three hours to the comedy catch to be treated horribly for no reason the comedians bashed us not in a joking way and the owner tried to kick us out for no reason the only thing we were doing was eating and talking amongst our selves! The owner yelled at us and told us to shut up and told us to leave but we wouldn't leave... we didn't do anything wrong and had paid to be there!! He even went as far as calling the Police to tell us to be quite! We honestly didn't do anything at all to be treated this way! We were quite! After the show people started coming up to us telling us how they didn't agree with how were being treated and that we didn't do anything wrong and that if we made to leave they would have spoken out about it!! Worst evening - if not for our 17 friends we brought to celebrate birthdays. I feel for the comedians - as the management & the guy announcing each comedian were so very rude. Almost felt as if we could not laugh- once they TOLD us to keep it down. Apparently- they were filming a video directly behind us - although felt the situation could have been handled much better - There was not heckling - it was crowd participation- we had not even finished A cocktail. Many people had ordered food & cocktails- after we were approached individually and so rudely - many of us went outside - and did not return to show until it was over & we could pay our bill and leave. If you want to go & sit quietly- at a Comedy show and be treated rudely while spending your money this is the place for you! I know we won't be back- ever! 1 star because - I can't leave 0! Per Michael - intoxicated - incorrect- as mentioned hadn't even finished 1 cocktail. I was enjoying myself until the main act, Drew Thomas. I understand comedians toe the line of politically correctness, but he was way far over it, with many of his jokes centered on racism, in particular towards Muslims and Mexicans. My group had to walk out it was so offensive. The day after, I met a stranger the Chattanooga airport who said she also went to the Comedy Catch once to see one of the Wayans brothers there, and she also walked out because the act was racist/offensive. read more
