Since I don't know where or how to replace them, I did a yelp search for lamp repair here in town - Alameda. Carole L. Chan's business appears as a result of my search. The business is located on the corner of Encinal & Lafayette Streets. This place is amazing. I cannot help but admire the lamps, jewelry, various lamp bases, knick knacks (for the coffee table or end table) and all the different styles of lamp shades that she has. Carole is very pleasant and friendly. I mention to her that my nightlights on my lamp have blown and are no longer functional. I don't know how to replace them. Her daughter, Debbie, is not there to take a look at the lamp. Thus, I have to leave my lamp with them for at least a week for repair. I don't know how much the repair is. I can only wait and see. I hope the repair or replacement of the bulbs does not cost me "an arm and a leg". (I bought the lamp at the Salvation Army almost three years ago for less than $20.)

About a week ago we had the electricity go out in two adjacent bathrooms. I thought it might be a…read moreswitch that tripped, but I couldn't see one. I felt it was definitely out of my wheelhouse by then. Checked around and contacted Ray. He came to the house within a couple of hours and after inspecting the system found loose connections, an improperly fitting breaker. Fixed all of that and now everything is working fine, and all the other connections checked and in good shape. Ray was punctual, excellent communication. He responded quickly to my Yelp inquiry, and after setting up a time window for the estimate he texted me to see if he could come early! Worked carefully, thoroughly, explained everything and I feel like not only is the problem solved, but possibly a future problem averted. Very professional and respectful. He has few reviews because he just started in business, but he clearly knows what he is doing. I hope to not have future electrical problems, but if I do I will call Ray again. Thank you Ray!!
