A, D and I showed up a few minutes later (not late) for our pedicures and it was like they were surprised we were there even thought we had made an appointment. They took some time to get us in which was fine, we took the time to choose our colors. Ya'll, this place is expensive. I had wanted a polish change on my fingers, but that was $25 so I opted not to. $45 for a classic pedicure is not the norm for any other place I have ever been. D (who is male) was told he *had* to get the Gentlemen's pedicure for $55. I got the deluxe which was nice, it was $60 though. A had to wait for someone to take care of her pedicure and she just sat there in lukewarm water for 20 minutes. We all finished roughly at the same time, and A and I were told that it would be 10 minutes until we were dry. K came over while we were waiting and showed us her nails, they came out great. A and I got sprayed with quick dry spray and then about 5 minutes later, the man who did my pedicure started to physically remove us from our chairs. He grabbed my bag (please don't do this!) and started to make us leave. No one was waiting and 10 pedicure chairs were empty so it's not like we were taking up space. Unfortunately, I realized after I walked out that my toenails were actually not dried and got smudged. I did not go back to get it fixed, I had places I needed to be. Vivian was my technician, and I was not impressed. She was digging into the sides of each of my toes and all were left to bleed. One of my toes on my left foot was bleeding so much she tried to hide it from me and preemptively placed my foot back into the water. Once onto my right foot she nicked my skin so badly I spoke up. At that point looking at the state of my toe nails I did not want to continue forward with the service. Putting any gel near all the open wounds felt unsafe to me. There should be no reason you are left bleeding following a nail appointment - no matter what. I am still experiencing pain and swelling around the skin she has cut off. It is one thing to clean up cuticles, skin should not be cut. So disappointed, I loved coming here but unfortunately I will have to stop. I wanted to share my experience as a warning, please be hesitant WHO you are booking a pedicure with!

I knew I needed to find a salon & stylist to be loyal to. I came across CCC & decided I would make a quick phone call to get an appointment. I spoke with Stephanie; she asked me some qualifying questions to match me with a stylist that would be the best fit. Typically, salons are booked on Saturdays (from some experience & other calls that I made), but given the nature of my request, she told me she would schedule me for a Saturday appointment at 9:00 AM with Elise. She ensured me that Elise is their "color expert" & is very familiar with treating thick, long, damaged hair. My initial feeling when entering the salon was WOW, this place is STUNNING. The decor & the front desk were so modern & updated. I love the light fixtures that they have when you enter & over some of the products for sale. For someone such as myself who is not very versed in this sort of thing (going to get my hair done & being pampered), I felt like I was in a very nice & upscaled environment. I had a lot of appreciation for whoever was in charge of the interior design (more of my department). I was greeted right away when I walked in. There were not a great deal of customers at that time, which I can't complain about considering I would rather have more of a one-on-one experience. Each stylist's chair was the same & had furniture-style cabinetry with granite countertops. Elise knew she had a project when she was told about my appointment. She was excited, however. My "project" took (3) hours to complete! But in that time, we had a lot of great conversation. She genuinely cared about me & getting to know me. She did an AMAZING job! After washing my hair with exceptional products, to adding highlights & lowlights to the exact color I was envisioning with organic dye, to explaining the whole process including the toner, she really took pride in reinventing my hair that needed help. She didn't even shame me for using box dye ;) The end result was drying & curling my hair. She also asked if she could take pictures to post on her Instagram which I agreed to. Believe me, the before & after pictures are a substantial improvement! I already have my next appointment booked & I cannot wait!! Sure, it's not cheap to have hair dyed & treated, but it is worth it. Thank you, Elise, for your hard work! She is incredibly thorough, listens to her client's, gives ideas and thoughts. I value her opinion a lot and she never disappoints. She did mine and my daughter's hair and make up for my wedding. She's dyed my daughter's hair several different colors. Mine as well. Again, never disappoints! Not only is Kirsten amazing but all of the staff at Simplicity is awesome! They're always so inviting. Always making sure that their clients are having the best experience while at the salon. Asking if we want water, some light snacks. Want nail fungus?! Well, you've found your place! Like many…read morepeople, with the start of warm weather comes a sandales and a pedicure. I just started trying A Plus Princess Nails for occasional manicures based on a friend's recommendation and decided to do my pedicure there as well and get the polish that lasts a month or so. After two weeks I started seeing some lifting, and then the polish chipped, exposing a greenish color of my nail! I took off the rest of the polish and discovered that they gave me NAIL FUNGUS!!! I've never had that before! Now I have to take months of an oral medication that could damage my liver and use topical medication too. And my doctor informed me that even after treatment, the fungus can return!!! I cannot stress this enough: don't go here.
