We took our 7 year old cockapoo for an end of year groom and they were fantastic! He was cut perfectly! We arrived at 9:15am and by 10:30am he was finished and ready to come home. I really appreciate that they didn't leave him in a crate for hours. He was very happy to be there and the facility is very clean and tidy. Looking forward to our next grooming appoint UPDATE: we have been using In My Paws for 2 years and still love this place. They do a great job on the cut, they are always on time and never leave our dog in a crate for hours. Welly is always happy when he walks in and happy when he walks out. Pretty disappointed with this groomer. Had one grooming appointment that went okay - they charged a matting fee though I said we could shave the dog down a bit more for the summer. I gave the benefit of the doubt, assuming they felt it wouldn't look good shaved (and that the dog was as matted as they said, as she looked similar to how she always looks when she's due for her haircut) The bigger annoyance is that I showed up for her 2nd appointment and was told it was never entered into the system. When I called to schedule it, they even commented on how her "regular" groomer was out but that they could put us with someone else that day. I guess after that back and forth, they just never entered it into their system, and now my dog is going to look like a rejected Muppet until I can find her an emergency cut at a new place. I'd be hopeful this was an isolated incident, but there was no accommodation made to try and fix the situation, so I won't be around as a customer to see if my experience would have been better in the future. read more

We dropped our dog off for grooming and were very pleased with our service. They offer a spa deal for $15 more which was worth the up charge. Our only problem were the tight bows, our dog has fine human like hair on her head, so it's always hard for us to take them off. We will definitely use them in the future. read more

I had the most horrifying experience ever yesterday on 02/16/25 with In My Paws, that leaving one star is one star too many but in order to post the review I had to select a star. When I went to pick up my dog, the dog they gave me, which looked similar to my dog, was not my dog. I immediately noticed the dog was afraid and quiet, and I thought my dog was just tired and stressed. Upon arriving at home, the dog would not get out of my car. I coaxed the dog out wondering what happened. Upon entering my house, the dog was freaked out and ran upstairs, which is outside the boundaries for my dog, and I immediately knew this was not my dog. I frantically called In My Paws, telling them they had given me the wrong dog, and where was my dog? Chaos ensued, as they had given my dog to other clients the day before, and they no longer had custody of my dog. I immediately returned the dog they gave me, and was reunited with my dog when the other clients who had my dog overnight, returned her. My dog had not been given the proper food, supplements, and the care I had entrusted In My Paws with, and I am utterly traumatized at this event. After receiving the explanation from In My Paws that they had none--zero--procedures in place to ensure they would give the correct dog to the correct owner (they take the dog's collar off when boarding, so they have no idea whose dog is whose except by visual confirmation, which resulted in my dog being given overnight to another client.). After I filed a police report with Watchung, the owner refunded my weekend charge (to be fair, they weren't caring for my dog anyway as they gave her to another client for 24 hours!) and told me they would implement a new system to identify the dogs at all times. She said it was a mistake. Mistakes are feeding the dog too much, or forgetting a feeding. Giving my dog to someone overnight because of their negligence to properly identify and safeguard my dog was not just a mistake. It was horrifying, and I will never, ever trust my dog to their incompetence and negligence in safeguarding my dog again. read more

I went with my mother to drop off her new Shiba Inu here for her initial bath. In short, there were two incidents that would make us not want to come back.. 1) We waited less than 10 minutes for them to take her dog for the cleaning. While waiting, there was another dog off-leash in the waiting area. Because of this, we let her dog off-leash so they can meet and sniff each other. Employees were in and out of the waiting area and no one mentioned to us that the dogs had to be on-leash. Then one employee goes out of the front door and leaves the slow-moving door to close on its own while both dogs run for the exit. This groomers is right on the highway and I darted for the door to stop the dogs from leaving. It was only then when an employee told us that the dogs were supposed to be on-leash. A disaster that could have been avoided more efficiently if they were up-front with their on-leash policy, or not careless about front doors with dogs around. 2) My mother doesn't know much about her new Shiba Inu; which is why she took hers to the groomers for a proper first bath. She was looking over the other treatments this groomers offered and she asked if they thought her dog needed her nails cut or hair cut. The associate she spoke with responded, "Shiba Inu's typically don't get their hair cut. We expect you to do your research before taking your dog to the groomers." Though I agree with her, I don't agree with this associate's customer service and manner with a customer who is only asking a question. They were very rude to my mother and I had to speak up saying she was not asking for a hair cut but only asking what you, professionals, thought about her dog needing one. TL;DR : Very unprofessional and rude. Will not return. read more

I took my dog to IMPs for daycare as I have many times in the past. I picked her up on the third day and she had sores on the bottom of her paws. The night before I did my once over on her as I do often and she had no injuries at all. I called the following morning to ask if she may have stepped in or on something that may have injured her, just to give my vet some information. The young lady I spoke to got very defensive and immediately said it could not have happened there because the dogs didn't go outside (she was outside when she was picked up), she said she would speak with the handler and have someone call me back. After 1 whole week and 2 phone calls, no one from IMPs has called me back. Things happen, but the fact that you did not think enough of my business (and I have been a fairly regular customer), to give me a call means you don't value my business. read more

I used to be really happy with their service until recently. I don't know what happened and why all of a sudden their service took a turn for the worst. To begin with, their receptionist sounded miserable each time I would call to get an appointment for grooming for my dog. Then, when I took her for her grooming appointment the last two times, they completely disregarded the type of haircut I requested and just did whatever they wanted (mind you, they're pretty expensive compared to other groomers). I've been going to IMP for yearsssss now. I'm completely done with them & the lies they tell. About a year & a half ago my dog had kennel cough and I had to bring him to the vet to find out it came from IMP. I called them and told them , of course they didn't want to take any responsibility. I decided to give them another chance since it's also so close to my house. I also request the same lady named Laura every time but that didn't seem to matter anyways . TODAY I just found out he has been diagnosed with kennel cough AGAIN from IMP. How do I know he got it from them? Because I don't bring my dog anywhere these days, just home and the groomer and occasional walks. Kennel cough is contagious from physical contact from another dog. So he clearly got it AGAIN from IMP. He ALSO HAD A BLOOD SHOT RED EYE when I picked him up about 1 week ago. I noticed when I got home and called them right away. Again they didn't take responsibility. I'm beyond upset with their service and find it disgusting they run a business like that. I will be taking action on this , it's unacceptable ! read more

I absolutely love this place! I was a bit concerned the first time we left our Bubba there because of a bad experience we had at another kennel but In My Paws is great!! Staff is friendly, they take very good care of your dog and allow them to play all day. Every time we have to pick our dog up he does not want to leave, you can just tell that he had a great time each visit. We wouldn't trust any other daycare with our dog. read more

I take one of my pet sitting dogs to In my Paws for daycare twice a week. She is always very excited to get there and tuckered our at the end of her 5 hour day from paying with her pals. The staff is very friendly and helpful . They are affectionate with the pets, and always smiling . The owner is a very nice man, and if I have any questions, he is always there to help . I love love love this place! My dog has stayed here 3 times for at least a week each. The prices are affordable and the staff is very professional. I also got my dog groomed there. Again, the prices are affordable and they are very professional. My dog is always so happy when I pick her up and is so neatly trimmed. I wish that they would give little reports like Barker Lounge. Five stars for the staff. They are the best! We are regulars for both daycare and boarding. They actually play with the dogs and genuinely care. They really love our Layla and we can trust them to take great care of her. My daughter brought our dog one morning where the parking lot was a sheet of ice and was not salted. She slipped and fell and let go of the leash. Our dog is a runner and thank goodness he did not run off. Nobody came to help her and when she told them at the front desk they couldn't have cared less. I called and asked for a manager and he said he did see it on the video but when she went back to pick up our dog nobody even apologized. Upon arrival I informed one of the front desk reps that a different rep told me the day care fee would be waived, she and the manager were combative saying "we would never say that" which happened to get waived because she checked with the rep and confirmed the rep told me the fee would be waived. Upon dropping off my dog on his first birthday just yesterday to get groomed nobody bothered to ask me how I would like him to be groomed I didn't sign any papers and upon arriving to pick my dog up I was greeted by a front desk rep who had a disgusting attitude telling me she called me "6 or 7 times and I didn't answer". I informed her that she didn't call me and after trying to charge me extra for my dog allegedly using the bathroom on himself multiple times and having to be washed again I explained that they must've done some to him to harm him because he hasn't done such things they described in a year of owning him. The manager said nothing happened and waived the extra fee. My dog had been licking himself in his private area continuously since we got home which I didn't think anything of it because dogs do that. He was being very reserved and not like himself come to find out upon examination his balls are very sore, red, and bleeding as if he was mishandled with clippers it looks to be. To avoid further unresolved matters I WILL be filing a complaint against this disgusting "business" and contacting the better business bureau. read more

They are patient, kind & caring with our furry ones, especially when the pups are a bit nervous. You get a homey vibe here, like they'll treat your animal as one of their own. This place is complete TRASH and very unprofessional. I have taken my dog to this place numerous times over the past couple of years and each time they insist on charging a $15 handling fee, they even go as far as saying they will have to charge us BEFORE they even start grooming my dog. I have a small 12lb bison mix and she has been to other groomers and never had any issues. We only continued to go to in my paws due to them being close to my home. No more! If you can't handle a small 12lb dog you should not be a groomer. I took my dog in for a bath and nail trim. I was impressed with how clean and organized everything was. The groomer told me she would be done in about 90 minutes and she was. I have so many great things to say about In My Paws, Me & my boyfriend were looking for a place to get our teacup Yorkie groomed for a while, for his very 1st haircut. While at Petsmart, we were recommended by one of their loyal customers. She also explained to us about their doggy day care & reassured us that our fur baby will be in good hands. That same week, I booked a appointment, which was easy & fast. Whoever I spoke too was very nice & understanding that it was our fur baby 1st time. Finally, it was the day for his 1st grooming appointment, we were 15 mins late & everyone was very understanding, the place was SUPER CLEAN, the work stations were also all tidy. They gave us an estimate between 2 to 3 hours, they called us around that time range & we were excited to pick up Simba! I have to say, I was speechless when I saw him, he had the cutest little haircut! Me & my boyfriend felt ecstatic! We got to see the back, where the doggy day care is held, the space was open, nice and big for alots of room for playing & running. Also, very clean! Simba was starting to warm up to it, he'll be going also every week for day care to help him get socialized with other puppies. Overall, we are so grateful that we heard of In My Paws! read more

In My Paws deserve 6 stars! My Malteese-Poodle and Cocka-Poo stayed there recently for boarding in the "VIP Suites" and had their own TVs and couches! They were so relaxed and calm when I picked them up that I almost didnt want to take them back home! Laura, the groomer and owner was very patient and friendly and truly did treat my dogs like they were her own. They seemed to be so connected to her and after a few other trials at area boarding and grooming, I finally found a home to keep my dogs when I have to go out of town. The staff at I.M.P all appeared to enjoy their job and time spent with the dogs and when you walk in, the smell is GREAT! You would never think that a business that keeps dogs all day would ever smell good, but some how they found a way to keep this place smelling great!! Keep up the good work and I'll be back again for another weekend get away for my pets. read more

The people here are great and make you feel very comfortable about leaving your furbaby with them. My dog is always very excited about getting dropped of for a stay and doesn't even look back!! We have used this place over the last 6 months for our 3 dogs. Everything was great until we boarded them over New Years Weekend. My golden doodle was attacked by another dog while under their care. I understand that this may happen because dogs can be dogs sometimes. My issue is that the owner never called to make me aware that our dog was injured. Her claim was that "this just happened before we got there and that she knew we would be coming soon" as to why she didn't call us. She also claimed that it was simply a scratch. Yet still bleeding. We took him to the vet who shaved the whole area and found that he had 6 puncture wounds into his neck. 6 holes broken thru his skin!! One which was still bleeding. A few had already scabbed over with the vet claiming these punctures were at least a day old based on the scabs and not a couple hours as we were told. I called the owners again to question them and the story was now different than what I heard initially. There were too many stories being told now from the owner and nothing was matching what I was told prior or what the vet can corroborate based on the injuries. I am disappointed in how the owner handled this situation. The owner should have been upfront about the situation when explaining what occurred and called me when it happened so I could address what I wanted done for my dog but that unfortunately wasn't the case. I would have been understanding and grateful if things were handled better. The owner did offer to pay the vet bills but this has yet to happen and it's been 3 weeks now. read more

I have taken my dog , a toy poodle numerous times. Each and everytime i find myself having to repeat myself over and over again because the receptionist nor the groomer understands what i ask for. Its like it goes in one ear and out the other. I ask for a very very low cut NOT shaved, so low that ALMOST the skin shows. I go and pick up my dig and she looks exactly the same as i left her. Not to mention a snotty lady that works in the front some days, that believes the customer is never right. Just awful. This place just lost a customer. I WILL not be returning my dog here. I'm so beyond excited I finally have found an AMAZING place to take my dogs. It has taken me years. After seeing all the great Yelp reviews I decided to take my Pomeranian here. I have been growing his hair out for months now after a terrible hair cut he had at another groomers. Just walking in the place, it is so cute and clean and the woman at the front desk was so nice. The groomer came out and met my dog and knew immediately his hair wasn't well after his previous groom job. She was so incredibly knowledgable about his hair and cutting it since he's a Pom. I love that they ask for his vet documents because I know they care about their health. They go over every detail with you and make you feel safe dropping your pets off there. He looked incredible when we picked him up. Best hair cut he has ever received. You guys took a weight of my shoulders! I've been bringing my recently adopted Yorkie to In My Paws for several months now and am very pleased. My dog is 8 y.o. and prior to her rescue, she had been used for constant breeding her entire life, so she needs lots of experienced support to learn how to be a confident and well adjusted dog. I have two other dogs at home, but it wasn't enough to comfort her anxieties. Bringing her to In My Paws doggie daycare program has proven to be very successful and I have seen remarkable strides in her confidence levels, which decreases her anxiety. The Owners and Staff are pleasant and attentive and I'm less stressed while I'm at work just knowing she is in good hands. I like that the Owners are on site. I've used their grooming facility and also their overnight boarding facility and have been equally pleased. The Owners and Staff at In My Paws all deserve a five star rating. read more

I've been taking my puppy here for months now for doggy day care. I also had her boarded while I had surgery. My dog walker relocated and I was having a hard time finding a replacement and In My Paws was recommended by a neighbor. For $3.00 more a day, my puppy is cared for, socialized and has so much fun, she comes home exhausted everyday! The staff is phenomenal, kind, caring and genuine. They have expressed as much care and kindness towards me as they have for my dog! If you work full time and need a place for your dog to either play all day or are looking to board your pet, look no further. This is the place for you and your fur baby! They are truly amazing, each and every person that works there from the handlers to the office staff are top notch!
