I thought the burger at In-N-Out was pretty good, GREAT compared to other fast food chain burgers. The fries were bad, they were basically little salted cardboard sticks. I like the simple menu and the all the hidden secret menu choices. I'm glad we stopped in, but I'm not sure it lived up to all the hype. read more

I had a double double extra onions. it wasn't that great.. ingredients seemed to be globbed on to cover up the teeniest pieces of 2 beef patties. what a rip off! too much stuff going on in the burger..too much lettuce, too much bun too much tomato..a big old mess, I just wanted to taste the beef! This burger restaurant is so fast with its service. The best thing for me is the food so hot and fresh every single time. The customer service here is really great too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a hot fresh burger and fries. I forgot to mention the fries are cut fresh whenever they run out of fries. Drive thru and the inside is always packed, when I get my burger it is not always fresh and warm because it takes 15-20 mins before you get your order. I've asked multiple times to do a well done meat but they didn't and the meat was red-ish . I'd rather go to the in-n-out in Ventura off seaward ave, that one is superb! read more

Worst in-n-out experience in my life. Lived in Oxnard my entire life and never went to this location and boy let me tell you it was horrible. Messed up my order twice and even tried to charge me more to fix. Horrible customer service. The girl who first took my order took it completely wrong and when I got my food and saw it was wrong they did nothing to try and fix the issue and were completely rude to me trying to tell me I was wrong. I said I want a #1 animal style. When you say that in Ventura you're whole meal comes animal style but I guess that's not how they do it in Oxnard. Management needs to come do another training over there. Will never ever go to that location again. Plus it's filthy in there. Looked like no one had wiped the tables and counters in weeks and the floor was covered in food and trash. The kind of establishment is why the City of Oxnard gets a bad rap. Boycott this location. Just go to Cam or Ventura. Better service and better food read more

The food is good and usually fairly quick, but it's always massively crowded. Burgers are always fresh. Service is always fast and courteous. There is almost always a line but it moves very quickly. In-N-Out Burger is one of the favorites at all times when needing a pick-me-up on the road in transit; this business work. Window flirt is a useful friendly voyage when placing a refreshment order. This is the only food place that has never ever messed up on our orders we always order the burgers a special way. That's probably why they pay their employees so good they deserve it. read more

In and out has the best burgers, hands down, out of any fast food joint you'll go to. This particular one is fast, but there are so many people that go at once that the line wraps around the entire parking lot on busy days. Been coming here for years and since I moved out of state I come every time I visit. It's always a comfort. This last visit it just seemed sad. The fries were delicious (especially topped with their special sauce), but the burger, I had the single, left much to be desired. The burger patty had been swallowed by everything else it was topped with. It's almost as if I had ordered a vegetarian burger. I don't know if they're cutting back on patty size for a reason but they need to bring back the original In 'n Out. If I want a tiny burger I'll go to McDonald's. I'll more than likely still stop when I visit town, but I might just stick with the fries and milkshakes. read more

I totally understand how busy this location is, however I find making special orders (like a veggie burger with no spread) is difficult for this particular location to make. I don't know if anyone has ever noticed but most of the times I order a burger here the meat is raw. I cut a piece and then continue to the center of the meat patty only to discover how very pink it is. Nobody seems to mind or even pay attention to the fact that they are not cooking their meat patties properly. Not only that but there is very limited seating inside and outside the restaurant, so you better find a table before ordering. Otherwise, your order will come first before you even find a table. If you do get a table, it will be dirty. Someone might come over to wipe it clean with a dirty rag but they will not sweep out all of the thrown lettuce bits and fries under the table unless you tell them. The milkshakes are delicious but I stopped buying them once I learned how many calories and FAT they really have. I don't care what anyone says about In N Out. It is not the best burger restaurant. I dislike fast food joints. But In-N-Out is an exception. I've been going to this once since it opened as a kid. It gets pretty hectic during the weekends and holidays. But the wait is totally worth it. Its funny when people glare at each other when they wait until the next table is available. It's like a war zone at times. Their burgers and fries are excellent. Not frozen or oily. They are full of flavor and you can taste every ingredient. In person, their burgers and fries actually looks like what they advertise. The staff for the drive thru are terrible. They are rude and Not friendly. The girl who took my order somehow got my order wrong even though I asked her to confirm the order To make sure that it was correct. The girl who charged me at the window also failed to catch the error , I asked her if she had the third item and she agreed. I pull up to the last window to pick up the food to find one of the orders missing, the same one I had asked about previously. When I tried to politely get the girls attention she pretended not to hear me until someone else decided to go to the window after I called for someone for five times. I told her I was missing an order and she asked for my receipt and then she told me it wasn't added . So how did two workers confirm the orders when I asked and still got it wrong ? They obviously didn't care. The girl at the last window was also rude and the man who I presume to be the manager also handled the situation poorly. They charged me for my missing item and didn't even apologize instead told me to go wait for it in front of the restaurant (by the way the missing order was just one burger) I waited for awhile until my passenger decided to get down and ask about the order. The same girl at the last window grabbed a bag from the counter that had been sitting there and rolled her eyes and threw it on the counter .So they were making me wait on purpose ? I love In-N-Out , simple menu, fresh ingredients, fast service. As fast food burger joints go (ie have to include a drive -thru) in n out has to be the best. The lettuce tomato onions and pickles are always noticeably fresh and you never get a stem in you tomato like at wendys or burger king. The meat patties though small are good quality for fast food and you can always get as many burger patties as you want so its not like you'll go hungry. Standard burgers are delicious but if you like living on the edge I suggest getting animal style which comes with pickles, grilled onions, a mustard fried patty and extra sauce. Another great thing is the prices are so cheap and the quality is much better than your typical burger chain (mc donalds Wendys etc). Yes the lines are long (thats a good sign) especially the drive thru but it moves constantly and they rarely mess up your order. A tip is to eat the burgers inside or in the car quickly because these burgers have a tendency to go soggy fast, not that it'll stop me from eating it mmmm soggy In-N-Out is better than no In-N-out at all! read more
