Came back and everything was on point. I had the El Fuego which is now one of my favorite burgers. It had cheese that was crisped on the edges, and wasn't too spicy, just a slight bit of heat to it. I had the chili fries which I think lacked a little cheese while being too heavy on the meat chili but were still good. I went back for blvd fries, which I highly recommend. My kid loved his chicken tenders but for some reason didn't eat his fries, so I ate those too, mixing them with my blvd fries. I was happy to see my wife left part of her blvd grilled cheese, which has bacon, tomato and avocado. Finally they still have the 3 free arcades but some punk kid stole one of the knobs on the street fighter arcade joystick. I probably went on a very off day (Easter Sunday). I've told myself that there will be times (at least a dozen) where I was really looking forward to a restaurant and that I would order almost one of everything on the menu and it will be one of the best memorable meals of my life. However,........ Blvd Brgr totally and completely fell short of that. I ordered the following: 14 Cannons Mexican lager: room temperature, beer should be ICE cold. That first ice cold sip is the most satisfying sip. Tator tots: they were fried in 6-month-old rancid oil, loved the little left-over pieces of previously fried rock-hard onion rings and French fries. Chicken Wings (6 piece): they were OK, I had to pay extra for a side of Ranch, really??? Also, for $12 i don't get any celery and carrots??? CA Jedi Burger: cooked in one temperature - Well Done. For a "$13 craft" burger I should be able to order the patty Med Rare. Blvd Chili Bowl: served cold. my onions were still raw, and the cheese never melted. The chili came with onions but I still had to pay $.50. Also Jack cheese with Chili??? What ever happened to Sharp Cheddar cheese over a steaming hot bowl of chili??? Awe man, coming in hot!! What a great time. Stopped in for lunch during the week as I heard great things about their wings and burgers. The selection of beers on tap is above average and awesome. I had the S&P wings - crispy, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. Best wings in LA, yep I said it. Followed it up with an El Fuego burger, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. Based off of the food pictures alone, on their website, I had to try the grilled cheese and truffle fries. Sadly, they did not live up to my expectations. We really enjoyed being able to order after we were greeted and seated by our friendly and helpful server - she made sure to ask if we wanted to customize the amazing burgers we chose. Huge patties grilled to perfection and we all had a different selection. The sides were fantastic and I'll note that the zucchini sticks were a huge hit. Crisp outside and flavorful while the zucchini was done just right. Observed the huge selection of beers on tap, and there's certainly something for all aficionados. Food was good and stayed intact while eating. Helped to cut the burger in half beforehand. A side of tater tots was good too, good crisp, size and portion. Beer was a good compliment to the food. Service was quick and helpful. Ambiance was good as I'd expect it to be busy but enough tables including outdoor seating and luckily saw a few available as it was already busy for a Friday afternoon. There's a bar and mini arcade area too. First time trying Blvd Brgr. Visited the Camerillo location. The Korean BBQ wings were the most DRY wings I have ever had. Not fresh, probably re-re-frozen and re-cooked. The sauce has a strange flavor, not at all Korean BBQ, not really sure what it wants to be. Kid's burgers were subpar (Blah...) For the same price we could have fresh delicious burgers from In n Out. As to the salad....argh... cheap greens, not impressed. Dressing redeemed it a little bit. The only good thing we had was the fries, it was cooked well, but we would not go there just for the fries. We've always had good burgers here - the CA Jedi is my favorite, a bit like In-n-Out's "animal style" cheeseburger but much bigger and juicier. I prefer without lettuce. The fries are a bit hit/miss on crispiness and freshness, but i love that they have sweet potato fries. The interior is very "burger joint" - nothing to write home about but clean and comfortable. Solid beer selection, but I wish they had Coke products instead of Pepsi. The staff are normally very good, but one time a couple years ago, they preemptively asked "can you get it to go?..." when we came in around 30 min before close - they would not let us dine-in, even though we got there well-before closing. This was deeply unprofessional and we didn't go back for a while after that. We've been back since and not had any issues. This is a solid local burger spot if you're looking for something more substantial than the fast-food options! read more

Placed an online order at 8:15 and as I'm pulling up at 8:30 they called me to tell me they decided to close early and can't fulfill my order. The problem is they can't refund me unless they have my card in person. So I told him I was already waiting outside because I was literally parking when they called me to tell me my order was canceled. Then they tried to argue with me about my Apple wallet card and about 25 minutes later I got a refund. No coupons no apologies no free meals just my Friday night dinner they decided to cancel ~20 minutes after I ordered it (8:15pm order) because they decided to close early (online says open until 9pm) and I waited 25 minutes to get refunded while I sat outside (after giving them my card because they're closed and I don't have time to come back tomorrow when I ordered a food pick up tonight). So I've literally spent 45 minutes between the time I ordered my food and waiting for the refund. I've never encountered such a poor service and literally they didn't do anything to make it right. They weren't gonna refund my order over the phone. They didn't give me a voucher or coupon to apologize for the inconvenience just 25 minutes. I'm sitting outside in the dark by myself waiting for a refund. I have attached proof of my order online using their ordering platform spot on with a timestamp showing when the order was placed, and a screenshot of their hours showing they were open at 8:15pm when the order was placed and I was waiting outside by 8:30pm ready to pick up my order when they called me to tell me it was canceled, because they decided to close 30 minutes early at 8:30pm. Honestly, I understand closing early, but you need to shut down your ordering platform and you need to be able to refund someone virtually not tell them to come back the next day and when they are waiting in person for the refund, you could give them a coupon for free fries or a free burger or a free cookie or something for literally ruining my Friday night. read more

Wow! What a surprise this restaurant was.Order at the counter then your food is delivered to your table by their ever friendly hostess. My wife and I were only looking for a non chain sandwich while visiting the outlet malls and came here with low expectations. Wrong there! It is served seared and crusted on a brioche bun ($16). WOW is that good. The ahi tasted fresh and it was seared perfectly. And a huge portion. Great value. We got it with 2 sides - sweeet potato fries ($6) and beer battered onion rings ($7). The onion rings had to be the best I have ever had. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you when it is ready. The food came out pretty quickly (we were the only ones eating in the restaurant when we were there). We sat outside. They have a few tables with chairs and a couple more with benches) in front of the restaurant with a metal gate separating the patio from the sidewalk. Really nice when Ventura Blvd is quiet. I will never forget being super pregnant and feeling embarrassed for calling in a pick up order just for a chocolate milkshake (pregnancy craving). I remember walking in and the cashier recognizing that it was I that called for the milkshake lol, but instead of judging she made sure my milkshake craving was satisfied with the sweetest gesture in giving me the rest of the left over milkshake... It's random to most, but that honestly made me feel so special. Most times people just toss the leftovers. I'm almost 5 months postpartum and i still think about that moment and that girl (i don't remember her name unfortunately). i hope her pillow is always cold, and i hope she gets a raise.
