Dr Rubin is fantastic! She is knowledgeable and it is so convenient that she makes house calls. I would recommend her to any first time mom!

Rubin's fourth trimester package was the best gift I could have possibly given myself in the postpartum period.

I was recommended this office thru MacNeil hospital, the doctor told me this was a good doctor to…read morego to "Dr.Freed" . Although I do believe he is very intelligent and a good doctor im afraid he is just too old to still be working and im just being practical. He takes so long to say one sentence mostly saying "ummm" and trying to find the right words to use. Very nice man never treated me bad or made me feel uncomfortable or anything. Now Kayla on the other hand I felt was rude and unprofessional with her responses to me as if I should know why my daughter is sick or just made me feel like I didn't know things I was "supposed" to know . I felt very judged because I look very young im 26 but felt as if she was talking to me like I was the child in the room. I brought my mother a few times to make sure I wasn't just having mom guilt or just mistaken about how I was being treated , my mom agreed . She also would address my mom in the room telling her things about my child & how to care for her like as if I was the child not the parent . I never brought this to anyone's attention in the office I just simply stated I did not want Kayla being my daughter's doctor but it's only her or dr . Freed. They scheduled me with Kayla multiple times after I expressed to them I was not comfortable with that . I've changed doctors since then, obviously. just writing this because I would love to inform the younger mothers out there , you know when you're being judged or talked to like a child & the thing is, im not even that young I've seen younger mothers but regardless should not be judged for bringing a beautiful baby to this world. The ladies in the front are great !! just putting this out there byeee

But unfortunately we moved to California so we had to say goodbye. (Honestly can't even find good doctors compared to them here still). They are very compassionate and truly love what they do for the kids and their families. My son was seeing Dr. Freed (He is THE Best!!!) But he also saw Dr. Ramana & Dr. Gruszka for sick visits and they are also wonderful. Dr. Freed was very patient with all the questions and concerns we had at every visit. He took his time to listen and make sure we understood everything before we would leave. He gave good resources & explanation. He was not the type of doctor who would just give you medication and not give you a chance or input on what you want/don't want. He makes the plans along with you! My son liked coming to see him and out of all the doctors he sees he always ask when we see his other specialist if we can see Dr. Freed instead. The nursing & front desk staff their are very sweet too and we were able to see the same faces usually when we came. Also, got to know some of them on first name basis. They were caring and interacted with my son well. Very patient people. Overall, I would recommend this clinic to anyone. As someone who works in healthcare we are usually careful (very picky) on who we trust with our care and I cannot say anything negative about the providers here! I miss them as my son's healthcare team!

I've been told on three separate visits now to 'switch to cows milk.' I have no intention of 'switching' my baby until he's ready. I was told the last time, at the 1 yr visit,to take him off the formula.( Um, my son isn't on formula, but whatever...and we have talked about breastfeeding every other visit) I like the dr. I really do, better than most, and I'm hesitant to write this review bc I want to continue to receive good care. I understand it's busy, especially at back to school time, but often I feel like I'm not really being listened to sometimes and just being read a script. So, if you want a traditional point of view, and a by the book opinion, you'll like this dr. If you're going to do things a little more natural, you might leave ignoring some of the advice, Iike we do.

He is exactly what you'd want in a pediatrician: super smart, attentive, kind, available, and always patient and respectful of the kids. He has answered our late night calls, had told us when to get extra attention, and has also told us when things aren't as serious as I was worried they'd be. Three of my sons have some underlying issues and are seen by a nationally known specialist out of state, and we have always appreciated how easily Dr. Mercola interacts with that doctor. There is always coordinated care. The staff could not be nicer, and we have never had to wait long for an appointment. We've also always been able to schedule same day appointments when needed. We grateful for that! Parenting is hard. De. Mercola makes the medical part of it much, CMU easier.

I want to be very honest with this review of Loyola University Medical Center…read more We arrived on Easter Sunday night after being transferred from another hospital, and I was truly grateful we made it. The ICU staff on the 2nd floor were exceptional--kind, professional, and attentive. They consistently checked on us and treated both patients and family with care and respect during a very difficult time. However, after a few days, we were moved to the 3rd floor, and the experience changed significantly. During overnight hours--around 2 AM--the environment has been surprisingly loud. I heard staff using profanity, watching videos or news on their phones at high volume, and openly complaining about long shifts. I understand healthcare is demanding, but this is a hospital setting, and patients (and their families) can hear everything. My relative is here receiving end-of-life care, so I stay overnight. At one point, a nurse questioned my presence rather abruptly before knowing the situation. To her credit, she apologized once she understood, but in moments like these, a little more compassion upfront goes a long way. One of the nurse was rude and jist keep using profanity and stated this is who she is. Wow, Loyola use to have professional nursing staff, what happened? I also noticed interactions where staff spoke to patients in a very casual, sometimes inappropriate tone. Maybe I'm a bit old-fashioned, but professionalism matters--especially in a place where people are vulnerable, grieving, and trying to find peace. My takeaway: There is clearly a strong, compassionate team here--as seen in the ICU--but consistency matters. Professionalism, awareness, and respect should be maintained across all floors, especially during overnight hours. Hospitals should feel calm and supportive, not loud or chaotic. Patients and families deserve that--especially during life's most difficult moments. I will give a 4 star due to our first encounter here and the kindness nurses such as Nicole and Quand and Jordan. Very kind d and attentive. And I just heard 2 nurses use profanity to another nurse. I am sincerely flabbergasted that they speak like this so openly and there are patients present in their rooms. The level of unprofessionalism is amazing, and i am really saddened by this as this hospital was once top hospital. Being part of the joint commission will definitely reflect not only my review, but how I move forward. This is really upsetting me.
