I've had In-U-Window come two years in a row to clean the outside of my upper-level condo windows in Carmel Mountain Ranch. The cleaning included windows, screens, wiping the surrounding vinyl and wiping the tracks that they have access to on the outside. I'm pleased with them because: ~They arrive on time. ~They offer a good price in comparison to others. ~They are one of the few companies I contacted that are willing to clean windows in the roofline of my condo (ie. they have to climb on the roof). They said they could not come for two weeks, and I said fine, because I wanted to work with them. they came a few mimutes early, and with 2 brothers working , they finished in just over an hour. I contacted a few places for quotes on getting our windows at our smog shop cleaned, and their price seemed the most cheapest/reasonable. About $8 per window, and the size didn't matter. We have giant windows in the shop and were extremely dirty and had some graffiti and tape on it, which they were happy to remove for us too. You can text or call. They contact you or get back to you pretty quickly, and scheduling an appointment is always easy. This is an extremely disreputable company and I would be VERY wary of doing business with them. In-U-Window confused my appointment with another Michelle and did not arrive on the correct date. They admitted the mistake and offered a 10% discount. Then, on the service date November 7, 2012, In-U-Window scratched sixteen windows in my house, then denied doing so. There was a blade used that may have been the same as previously mentioned here from another reviewer. The scratches are visible and so severe in some areas, a fingernail gets caught in it. The scratches are many and only on the exterior, vertical, then curved at top, in a sweeping shape. We notified In-U-Window of the damage one week after the service. In-U-Window's response was that the windows were already damaged and they would not re-visit the job to view the damage. Then Dusty, the owner, agreed to view the damage on November 30th. He brought with him Wesley, the previous owner, who cleaned our windows without issue in 2010. Wesley immediately claimed: 1.) The windows were indeed severely damaged, that he sees this sort of damage all the time, and that it is caused by construction debris. then, 2.) The windows were not only damaged prior to the In-U-Window service on November 10, 2012, but they were even damaged prior to his original service in 2010, and that he notified me of the damage before his original service at the time. Neither is true. The house was built in 2004. At neither time of In-U-Window services in 2010, then again in 2012, did In-U-Window notify me of existing damage before or after the service. Nor was there any existing damage to the windows that went unnoticed. My husband and I live and work at home and look through the windows every day, all the time. The damage was obvious less than one week after the 2012 service. It's absurd to contend we just didn't notice the damage in, at minimum, two years, at maximum, eight years given Wesley's claims. We tried to work out a resolution with Dusty directly, calling and leaving messages continually, then speaking directly a few times. We agreed I would get estimates on replacement of the glass only, to get an idea of the costs. We even offered to help pay for some of the cost to replace the glass. Discount Glass & Mirror measured the windows, then provided cost estimates. After the holiday, our calls to Dusty, and In-U-Window went unanswered. Daily messages were ignored. We were unable to share the cost estimates or even have further conversations. As a result, we are pursuing legal action. These are facts. You can determine your own opinion. Mistakes happen; but to run from them in this way is not just bad business, it's a disgrace. read more

I have about 21 windows, including 2 patio doors, and three windows over the roof (tricky to reach) - they charged me $208 total. Came on time, clean, etc. My windows look beautiful, even got stucco/concrete?/paint remnants off one window (thanks to another contractor I fired and sued).
