I never met with Horizon. Only spoke with Jon once on the phone. I really didn't care for his arrogant, condescending attitude. But I really need my windows washed. I texted back and forth with him about his price. He really wanted me to do all the work determining the price. It was all on me to send him pictures of my windows so he could come up with an estimate. This was a first for me. I did so, wondering all the while what the hell I was doing and why I was working so hard to do someone else's job. I feel kind of stupid now and won't ever do that again. But I sent him the pictures. Jon finally responded back -- Two days later -- and he wanted to come do the work the next day, which was funny since the weather forecast said it was GOING TO RAIN. Jon had no idea. Completely clueless and uncaring. You'd think he would at least try to respond and say 'Oh, yeah. I saw that. We have rain in the forecast. We definitely need to hold off.' But no. Shouldn't professional window cleaners be mindful of the weather and not try to take people's money to clean their windows if it's going to rain? I give people the benefit of the doubt, but a window washing service being this ignorant? Thankfully my regular window cleaning service -- who is so highly sought after and busy that I was foolishly calling around to find someone else -- called me back and we scheduled a time. When I requested a Tuesday they said 'Kent, you know it's going to rain next Tuesday, don't you? How about we try Thursday. Does that work for you?' Take it from me. This was quite an experience for us, in a good way. We have had a lot of construction in our neighborhood, and our windows and solar panels were incredibly dirty from our neighbors' dust and dirt. Our solar panels are on our roof, which is very fragile lightweight clay tile. We recently also had a termite fumigation, and the fumigators broke around 120 tiles - they cost about $20 per tile to repair, so we chose Horizon as it was one of the few companies with the equipment needed (extension poles and deionized water) to avoid walking on the tiles. Our house is about 3,000 sq ft. Jon sent a team of 4 guys and arrived to set them up with a work plan. Everyone wore masks and was meticulous about social distancing. My husband is over 80 years old, and I have bad asthma, so this was a real plus for us. The guys working inside the house even wore gloves. Everyone was very polite, but not chatty, lingering or spending any excess time inside. Having said that, they were obsessional about checking and rechecking their work. I am a bit on the OCD side of the scale, but this team left me happy with every aspect of their work. I imagine that our neighbors will be thinking that we cleaned our house up for a sale. It looks shiny and new. However, it is now so nice, I think we might stay here forever, and get Horizon to clean things up whenever we have the grimy blues read more

Another year, another great service! I scheduled the service with John, the owner. He is always fast on responding to emails or calls and try his best to accommodate your request. I had then in my house last year and called again this year. They seems to have the best rate and availability. 3 guys to clean all my windows on a 2-story home. They did it in about 1 hour and half. They forgot to clean 2 side door windows and my kitchen door, that has few glasses on it. No problem! I called John and the very next morning he sent me a guy to finish up the service. My boyfriend was needing a good window clean at his place and asked if I would help him price this out. We live in a condo complex and after contacting our HOA a couple of times for a window cleaning company referral (the guy they had us call never called me back), I took the duty into my own hands. I contacted Jon from Horizon Professional Window Cleaning to get a free estimate and it was WELL within our price range (we live in a condo complex and just have 6 windows) . Also, he had time to come out in just a couple of days so I booked him. Included in his services, he cleans the inside and outside of the windows, the screens, tracks and sills - and does minor scraping if needed. The company is also licensed and insured. Jon did a GREAT job and with the 15% off coupon, it only cost me $42! One thing I'm learning about the service industry, is that usually the smaller the company (where often the owner is the one doing the work), the job gets done and the quality is spot on - AND the prices are better. I had never had them done and with the rain that just happened over the weekend, my windows still look clean without the messy dirt that looks like it is sliding down my windows like before. Jon Maxwell has been to our house twice. First time to clean the windows. 2nd time he pressure washed our patio. He did an excellent job of cleaning the windows. He took time to get to the ones that are difficult to reach. He protected the furniture and drapes when he worked on the inside. The windows were crystal clean!!! When he pressure washed the patio he helped to move the furniture and got the patio looking brand new! Then he also cleaned the windows that got wet from the pressure washing. I was surprised and happy to see that Horizon offers services besides window cleaning, as my gutters were in dire need of attention. Last time I tried to clean my gutters was March of 2019, I cut up my hand pretty good and nearly fell off the ladder no less than 3 times. Instead of trying to tempt fate again, I figured better let a professional handle this. I contacted Jon, and within about 10 minutes we had scheduled a time. Now, this wasn't just a handshake agreement, I was emailed scope of work & estimated time of arrival within those 10 minutes, pretty awesome. Jon arrived and quickly got to work, we quickly were witness to the horrors that he was uncovering from our gutters after years of neglect, nightmare fuel but Jon kept powering through. After about an hour or so, the job was complete and Jon went above & beyond in cleaning up all the gunk he had removed from our gutters. We asked for immediate service and he fit us in on Christmas Eve as we were expecting rain on Christmas. He cleaned out the gutters, lightly trimmed the tree branches that were impeding into the gutters and reinstalled the gutter screens that had been taken out but the branches by the previous winds. He cleaned up after his work. My 91 year dad is very impressed!!! We will surely contact him in the early spring 2019 to clean our many windows. The windows had not been "professionally" done for a year and the screens and sashes were filthy and spider ridden. They went right to work. Outside completed first then interior windows, French doors and main entry all required detail work. Although I had prepared by taking out window ornaments and pulling furniture away from areas needing attention, John's simple considerations like wearing shoe covers to protect floors and carpets, special awareness of furnishings was greatly appreciated. When they left I had no cleanup after--no streaks, missed areas or residual puddles. Every area was immaculate and all that was required was to put furniture and decorative items back in place.
