Great instructors: Jimmy's experiences--both as a firefighter and as an educator-- make him an incredibly insightful, knowledgeable, and helpful instructor. He's also hilarious, so his classes are always tons of fun. She offered a very reasonable rate and was willing to train a large group of 4th and 5th graders. On the day of the training she arrived early and was professionally dressed. She did such a great job with the Scouts. She was able to keep them engaged and interested. One of my Scouts started to lose interest and she immediately roped him into the first aid lesson where she was demonstrating on him and that drew him right back into the lesson. Due to Covid, we did our training outside, masks on and socially distanced. I felt very safe during this training. When Heather arrived, she was dressed professionally. She shared with us that she is currently training to be an EMT. Her high energy level kept us all engaged, which is so important in a long training. The online portion was very knowledgeable and was just enough info needed to pass the class portion. The classroom session was very nicely done. Each student had a dummy and there was a baby to share per two people. We reviewed everything that was covered online and got a hands on experience during roleplay. The certification will be valid for 2 years. I hope I will not have to use any of the techniques taught, but if I do, I'm glad I'm certified to help save a life!
