I went with a friend in search of a good nail salon since we moved to Denver only a little while ago and need to find our go to spot. Saw the reviews and thought it was a no brainer but now that I've been there I'm wondering what the other reviewers are smoking. We both got the worst manicures I have ever seen in my life! My manicure is a streaky mess and my friend's manicure was all over her fingers! The nail tech did not even bother to clean up the nail polish that she got EVERYWHERE and applied lotion to her hands AFTER she painted her nails. I don't even understand how that is possible if you are a certified nail technician. I'm not a nail tech but I've gotten enough manicures to know -besides plain old common sense - that that sequence of events is questionable. I also heard the lady say to another customer - who I guess is a regular but was going to leave because it was busy - that she'd be quick in order to get her in, guess who the customer was that paid $15 + tip for the worlds quickest and shittiest manicure right before that customer got served? This girl right here ‍ Totally unacceptable. Complete joke. I will never go back there. If I could give no stars, I would. Oh and the picture actually does not do the crappy workmanship justice. I came here a second time and decided to try the manicure pedicure package. The manicure was kinda a mess....I don't usually get manicures, but even with my limited nail skills I most definitely could have done a better job myself. The technician kept slathering on the layers of polish before the prior layer was dry, leaving it a gummy mess that never really dried and indented easily. I went back and Kelly happily re-painted my phalanges, however the second time they were painted in the same manner and stayed gummy. The layers were painted on thick and unevenly, leaving it looking super sloppy near the gap around my cuticle. After their second attempt I ultimately went home and removed the botched polish from my fingers. I love my toes, so I will most certainly be back for a pedicure. But the manicures? Meh. Granted I opted for regular polish as opposed to a gel, so maybe they do a better job with gel. read more

My girlfriend and I tried this place and were very happy we did. After hearing her recall horrible experiences at nail salons closer to home in Denver (they told her NO, you cannot have glitter on your French manicure; when she insisted that really was what she wanted, they insulted her to other technicians by inferring she was doing something teens would want and that she was too old for it!; they also talked amongst themselves and said she had man hands (!!!) right in front of her, LOL). This experience was totally different. All of the techs here were friendly and nice! What a pleasant change. They wanted to accommodate whatever styles we wanted, and our nail jobs looked great when they were finished. On top of that, it was less expensive than the places my friend had been going to. I got a set of white tip acrylic nails put on and it ran $31 (it would have been $25 with plain tips). Next time I'm in Denver and feel like pampering, I'll come here. OH - another great thing here - you can sign up for their manicure club, which is free and just means you live around here and are planning on coming back in. They will give you your own set of manicure tools that they store in the back room. Every time you come in, you're not using the common tools which have been sterilized (and I'm sure they're fine, since this place focuses on keeping things germ-free), you're using your own set. Finally, they have the nice spa chairs for pedicures, but they bought and use the plastic liners for the tubs. Which means they can really get them clean and sterilize them! Ever worry about gross germs in some salons' spa chairs? I do, but I wouldn't here. Very nice. They have a TV mounted on the wall, too, so I got to watch the football game while I got my "nails did!" I purchased this pedicure as a Groupon. The pedicure was good. however here are some things I questioned upon arriving it wasn't busy but lady when I Called to schedule appointment per the Groupon rules she seemed annoyed with me and didn't want to book me until late when I called at 2 asking for a 3pm appt. The "Spa" is not a spa, the wax room was a bathroom turned into wax roomm with packages of water bottles stacked underneath the lounge chair. There was food on table and kitchen out in the open. The place felt very dated and not clean. I also had a nat that was flying around. The tools didn't get sanitizer that I noticed. The lady whom heLped me claimed too be 13 years but she didn't seemed to know how to file and buff my nails I had to keep correcting her. She was very nice did a great massage and hot stone but never ever again will I get a wax or service here. My skin is burned from the wax and I'm missing a part of my brow that I was told sorry she felt bad I could just draw it in. I don't draw eyebrows not my thing. Plus I'm not going to be able to put anything on my skin till things heal. Don't spend the money on this Groupon. The owner/manager was not friendly at all unless you were a regular then she whispered w clients and rude to others clients and passive towards the two ladies working. I wasn't charged for the wax but paid for my pedicure through Groupon but left at tip bc the lady spent hours doing a pedicure. I booked at 3 and didn't get in for chair till 330 and didn't leave the place till 520pm. read more

World's worst manicure. It looks like my nails were painted by an expressionist painter!!! I'll try to keep the details of the "worlds worse manicure" short, but here it is-- my friend and I are new to the area and found this salon from all of the good reviews. We went for a basic manicure. The filing and cuticle trim was fine, but things went downhill fast: - There was no lotion applied to my hands before the polish. - This lady JACKED UP my polish! I kid you not, she got polish on my knuckle and all over my cuticles (pictured) and even got paint UNDER two of my nails. She got lint on one nail and left it. The paint was literally "textured" by the end. - AFTER the paint job, she proceeded to do the lotion! I was so bugged out and wanted to laugh out loud, it was so bad. - They make you pay after polish too. So with fresh nails you need to dig into your wallet. I thought it was just me, but another technician mangled my girls nails too-- she had paint on her knuckles and the paint was a streaky mess. She didn't even get any lotion, at any point! I don't think I've ever had a worse experience in a nail salon. The woman who did my nails was nothing but rude. She seemed to not understand what shape I wanted, even after showing multiple pictures; when I asked her for certain fixes (filing, evening out nails, rounding the shape, etc.) she proceeded to yell at me and passive aggressively file my nails to a botched shape. I asked for a matte coat, which was applied in one sloppy layer and is barely visible. Finally I was sent out the door with wet nails, which were immediately ruined. Honestly, you get what you pay for. I came in to get a rebase and my friend wanted a full set. They chopped her cuticles to pieces and when we left, she was still bleeding. When they did the acrylic on both sets, it was all uneven and didn't cover the full nail. We came in and asked the manager to fix them, and she told us ''no. Your nails grew a lot ,so that's why the acrylic isn't where it's supposed to be. '' my friends nail was replaced, but it's ridiculous it popped off the first night. read more

Love the glass of wine, love the annual membership that creates my own set of supplies kept in a box for each time I come. The ladies here were so sweet but I left with a less than perfect manicure less than 1 week ago and now 4 of my nails are broken! I got a dip acrylic nail and they seemed way too thin when I left but I figured she knew what she was doing but the first one broke the first day after! And on top of that, the top coat has been peeling off. It's just not a cheap set for them to all need to be replaced after ONE week. So disappointed. read more

My girlfriend and I got a mani pedi combo and her mani looked pretty bad and was clumpy(possibly from old polish). And this place just didn't seem very clean to me. I prefer they use disposable scrubbing pads on the bottom of the feet instead a reused cheese grater. It grossed me out. Also scrubs and lotions seemed generic and cheap. The center is a bit run down but inside was clean and the ladies were very nice. It was a surprisingly quick manicure, that lasted almost 3 weeks! I went in for a mani/pedi for the first time in almost a year, and decided to splurge with the deluxe package. They did a great job clearing away dead skin and everything right up until the nail polish, but things pretty much fell apart at that point. I ended up with polish on the skin surrounding my toenails, uneven French tips including whole swaths the top coat didn't even cover, and colored fibers caught and clearly visible in the white polish. Most of the bottles of polish used were old and goopy, and did not apply evenly. Every nail ended up with bubbles caught under the top coat. I went home and made what corrections I could, but it still looks pretty bad. I won't be returning. read more

I came in here with awful looking natural nails that were ruined from having acrylic nails for a long time. I left with a perfectly smooth shellac manicure and my hands looked SO much better. Not only did my nails look great, but the staff was super friendly and offer you wine! It was my first time in the salon, so they used brand new tools on me and gave me a little tag to put on my keys with a number on it so that the next time I get back they can use my tools again! I saw the Groupon online and since it was close to my work decided to try the Luxury Mani-Pedi which was supposed to be $41, and when I called them to ask what it would cost to add shellac polish they told me it would be $60.00 total. I decided to book an appointment for 4:30 that day and give it a shot because of all the good reviews on yelp. When I got to the place I was told they would be right with me and to pick out a color, I responded that I was doing shellac and sat down to wait. After about 10 minutes they brought me to a foot tub and proceeded to put water in the tub. The water was FREEZING (not just cold). I told them as they finished up on the person in front of me 20 minutes later, yes I had been there for 30 minutes waiting at that point in time even though I had an appointment. The guy that was to be doing my services then put scalding hot water in the basin and when I told him he put freezing cold water in for the rest of the time and walked away. Needless to say the water was cold by the time the footbath was filled. I had to tell him that he needed to turn it off before it overflowed. At this point I gave up on the temperature of the water, but noticed that the water was draining out because he didn't put the plug back in. Meanwhile he conveyed to me how annoying it was that I already had shellac on and that it was going to take until at least 7 (when they close) to finish my mani-pedi. I patiently waited in the chair while he went back and forth between my hands and feet, performing the whole services at the foot bath. So finally done at 6:55 at night and even though he cut me a couple of times, could not get the water right and made me wait for 30 minutes, they still charged me the full amount. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend it to anyone. P.S. Even though there are all the reviews that talk about wine, I never saw a drop the whole time I was in there. In fact I had been in there almost 2 hours before they offered me water, and only did because they offered other clients water in front of me. read more
