Beautiful flowers have me ready for vacation!

I didn't check the color they used on some of my toes and didn't notice it wasn't what I wanted til the end. When I mentioned ed it they quickly and happily changed the color for me. We were all so happy in the end!! Beautiful job!

My friend goes to this salon and recommended it to me. I got the same service she does: almond shaped tips with dip powder. My friend pays $40, I was charged $60. The dip powder along the cuticles was not trimmed down enough either. Very poor quality, and I have been getting dip powder done for years. I will not be doing back.

She was on her phone while doing my nails too. I asked her to fix a couple flaws and she didn't seem to care. Wouldn't recommend for acrylics but the man you did my friends dip nails did an amazing job. Not worth 70$ in my opinion.

Wonderful pedicure! My sister and I came on a Monday morning. Shop is immaculately clean and well lit. My manicurist was Jenny- fun to talk to and did a great job with my oh-so-neglected feet! We splurged and went for the deluxe version- $52- citrus scrub, paraffin wax, long massages- felt great. We will return! read more

i've been a customer here for almost 10 years and i recently decided i won't be back after one too many times of very crappy workmanship with acrylics. there are great techs here but if you're a walk in, even if you call in advance, you will be treated like dirt and be given the worst possible job done on the service just to get you out of there asap. there are much better salons in this area that will put more care into both you and your nails for the exact same price and lasting double as long (my manicure from here lasted a week). read more

I went in for a pedicure. Picked a color and after one hour of her putting multiple layers of white on, which took almost an hour, she put on a color nothing like what I picked. I just went with it because it had already taken so long. I got No massage. I was very disappointed. Normally I get great pedicures there. read more

I had started to go to this nail salon a couple of times now but I want to share my most recent experience at Expo Nails which I want to WARN clients using their DEBIT cards!!! I donate plasma 2x a week and treated my cleaning gal to a mani/pedi for my birthday and used my plasma card which I never use and only withdraw the cash off the card. On 12/16 when I was there, I paid with my plasma card and it was used to try and purchase a subscription streaming service for video games & movies named EMPEROREMPOR.ME!! Luckily I didn't have any money on the card and it was declined and I was notified via text. Well the following day it happened again and I cancelled my card immediately!! Obviously they must have someone within their shop that is doing some pretty sketchy stuff!! BEWARE!! read more

Expo does the best pedicures I have ever had. I always get the Expo pedicure, which is the best one. It runs $48 and totally worth it. The pedicure starts off with soaking your feet in a warm whirlpool foot tub while sitting in a massage chair. It includes all of the regular pedicure things, except they also give you a foot and leg massage with a sugar scrub, an extra long massage with warm lotion, put hot paraffin in your feet, wrap them in foot warming booties, then place hot towels from a steamer on your legs. It's incredibly relaxing and it feels like a real spa experience! read more

Another great experience at Expo Nails Spa! This time I stopped in for a rebase with gel polish and standard/regular pedicure. I can't stress how friendly the nail techs are. Go check it out for yourself! This time I did a wine red and glitter accent nail for my nails and a blue/green for my toes (not pictured), and I love how they turned out. The picture doesn't do the colors justice probably because of my subpar nail photography and lighting. read more

They do not honor appointments. I came on time for two pedicures I made an appointment for. My boyfriend and I sat there for 20 minutes past my appointment time. I had mentioned twice that I had an appointment at 12:30. They said sorry we are behind today. The workers continued to start new services while we were sitting there so we left. They then called me about 10 minutes later and tried to gaslight me into saying we made an appointment for 1:30. This was my first time coming here and I definitely will not be back. read more

I don't recommend this place solely on their customer service. I understand I am a guy, but that's no reason to take a female customer before me that walked in after and didn't have an appointment. If you had of asked more questions when greeting me you might have realized my services of a manicure with clear coat were a higher paid service than changing out her color. read more

LOVE! I stopped by without an appointment because I was in the area and very much needed a pedicure. This place is super clean, love the color choices, very reasonably priced and THE SIGNATURE PEDICURE was amazing. I have made two visits to Expo. The first time, I showed an inspo photo of what I thinking of doing - sometimes not the easiest thing to do! The gentleman who helped me was great! He spent time making sure we got the right color for my acrylics and did the ombré how I wanted. He pulled 3 different colored pinks and swatched them all so I can make the choice! Loved that mani. The second time I went in for a fill on a time crunch - again, not the easiest to do! They were super accommodating, got me in and out with time to spare and a great set of newly filled acrylics. Been super impressed with the cleanliness and the attention to detail. Going back tomorrow for a new set! read more

This place is great. I attend Colorado School of Mines, which is very close to Expo Nails Spa, and I've been coming here since last August. All of the nail techs are friendly and hardworking. Plus, they're great at doing nails. I always get dip manicure and gel pedicures. This place has the the greatest service for the best price. I love that they're family owned and have the same workers! It shows how they treat each other with respect. Great place to get your nails done. You won't be disappointed. I stopped into Expo Nails today to get a pedicure. I got the mid-level pedicure and expected to leave with smooth feet (winter and the dry Colorado climate have really taken a toll on my skin since moving here from Texas) but left with anything but smooth feet! There is still a ton of visible dead skin on my feet! I get pedicures so I have smooth feet...I really don't even care about the polish part and I'm so disappointed in the quality of the work. The place was very terrible and not friendly. They made me feel dumb and did not listen to what I said. The service was terrible and what I paid for was coming off within hours. I wanted them to clip my nails but the lady I was working with made faces at one of my toenails for the way it was grown. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I kind of felt bad because I had just gotten off work and I was really tired and she was trying to make small talk, but I just wanted to enjoy my nails getting done. They looked awesome and she cut my nails exactly the length and shape that I wanted. I was very pleased. read more

I'm obsessed with this salon. I was a walk-in my first time because my old salon gave me one of the scariest sets I left in the middle and Thuy turned it completely around and left me with some snatched glossy black coffin shaped nails. The ones pictured are my second set by Thuy also. I can't see myself venturing off to any other nail tech or nail salon. Looking forward to getting my toes done in the future read more

Expo nail spa has been so amazing! It's clean and all of the technicians are amazing. Kelly did the nails you see. I drive 30 to 45 minutes to have my nails done because quality is most important to me. I have NEVER found a place like this. Time after time the quality and price continue to exceed my expectations! I came here the other day to get a fill and a color change and I left with nail polish all over my fingers and cuticles so I came back tonight to get them fixed and the man that I went to was super rude and said to me "why didn't you say something yesterday" well why didn't you do it right the first time was my response their is better places here in lakewood that I will go to next time don't waste your time or your money here way over priced for what you get!!! read more

Since I had seen their Yelp photos and thought they looked like the best salon in town, I decided to wait. I ended up waiting nearly two hours before I was finally seen. When it was my turn, I showed the guy the design I wanted. It really wasn't anything elaborate--just some stripes and polka dots but it was like 7 different colors I guess.. No gems, rhinestones, or anything I would consider overly detailed. Instead of discussing pricing upfront, I waited almost two hours only to be told that the design would cost $120. I was honestly shocked. If I had known that before waiting, I would have gone somewhere else. BUT, I couldn't because I was leaving for my trip the next morning, and every other salon was closed. When I questioned the price, I was simply told that because of the colors and designs, it would be $120. I was so overwhelmed and stressed about my trip that I started crying in the chair. Since I had no other option, I settled for a much simpler design that was incrediblyyyyy basic. Even then, I was still charged $80. To make things worse, the quality of the work did not justify the price at all. The nails were uneven, lumpy, and poorly finished. I spent the ENTIRE appointment crying, from the moment I sat down until I left. I wasn't even planning to leave a negative review because I felt bad for hardworking people and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, LESS than 24 HOURS later, while I was on my trip in Europe, one of the nails broke. Shortly after, a second one broke as well. At that point, I hadn't done anything that would reasonably explain it. I had simply packed my suitcase, gone to the airport, and taken a flight. I had to spend DAYS of my vacation walking around with bandages holding the nails in place while I searched for nail glue (which I guess doesn't exist in Europe lol). I couldn't find any, so I eventually had to buy super glue just to keep the nails attached for the rest of my trip. Between the nearly two-hour wait, not being told the price until it was finally my turn, paying $80 for a very basic set with poor workmanship, and having multiple nails break within 24 hours, this was EASILY the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. also if you're reading this far id also like to mention that, throughout the appointment, the tech repeatedly complained about how late it was getting and how long the appointment was taking. That really upset me because I had asked before waiting if they could still take me, and I was told yes. I then waited nearly two hours. If it was going to be an inconvenience or if there wasn't enough time to do the service properly, I wish they had simply told me from the beginning instead of having me wait for hours only to make me feel like i was the problem.

I found it too. The goldmine of nail salons, is so very true. I walked in with terrible looking nails from the last place that butchered them. I was greeted by a gentleman who looked pretty shocked at the condition of my nails, but he took on that challenge anyway! I really appreciated how clean the shop is, the fact that this man explained what he was doing, listened to my concerns, and I got exactly what I wanted. Also he was funny, so that was helpful. But everyone was nice, knowledgeable, and really communicative. Priced right, actually for all the filing he had to do - under priced! So I tipped him very well. So far on day 8 they still look fantastic. He took his time to do my nails and to do it right, I appreciate that he was detail oriented! I've been getting compliments left and right. When my regular salon was unable to get me in during a nail emergency, I did a quick search and stumbled across Expo Nails-Of course I was skeptical however that was put to rest the minute I walked through the door for my appointment. This nail salon so immaculately clean. I witnessed the owner cleaning everything herself, it was spotless! The massage from the pedicure chair is fantastically blissful, worked out all the stress points in my back. They always have the newest, latest and greatest trending products that they introduce me to which I love. They always offer me fun new ways to do art, and they are so creative! I have been going to this nail salon for a little over 6 months now. After a move from Thornton to Golden, I had the same nail tech for 11+ years, so you can say I was hesitant to switch to a new place. Given the distance to my previous nail salon from my home, I decided to stop in at Expo Nail Spa to just check it out for a rebase. Needless to say, I have made Expo my new nail spot!! I have known the people who run this salon for over 10 years and they are the absolute best. I have never found nail techs that measure up to them-both in terms of a great nail service and who they are. I enjoy chatting with them and honestly consider them my friends. I came here fo hey my nails done for prom and I am very satisfied. The workers were professional but friendly. The place was clean and comfortable with music and free coffee! It was a bit more than I expected as the base price was $28 for acrylics and I paid $58, but I expected it to be more with dip powder, $10 manicure and ombré color which was harder to do. Since I had seen their Yelp photos and thought they looked like the best salon in town, I decided to wait. I ended up waiting nearly two hours before I was finally seen. When it was my turn, I showed the guy the design I wanted. It really wasn't anything elaborate--just some stripes and polka dots but it was like 7 different colors I guess.. No gems, rhinestones, or anything I would consider overly detailed. Instead of discussing pricing upfront, I waited almost two hours only to be told that the design would cost $120. I was honestly shocked. If I had known that before waiting, I would have gone somewhere else. BUT, I couldn't because I was leaving for my trip the next morning, and every other salon was closed. When I questioned the price, I was simply told that because of the colors and designs, it would be $120. I was so overwhelmed and stressed about my trip that I started crying in the chair. Since I had no other option, I settled for a much simpler design that was incrediblyyyyy basic. Even then, I was still charged $80. To make things worse, the quality of the work did not justify the price at all. The nails were uneven, lumpy, and poorly finished. I spent the ENTIRE appointment crying, from the moment I sat down until I left. I wasn't even planning to leave a negative review because I felt bad for hardworking people and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, LESS than 24 HOURS later, while I was on my trip in Europe, one of the nails broke. Shortly after, a second one broke as well. At that point, I hadn't done anything that would reasonably explain it. I had simply packed my suitcase, gone to the airport, and taken a flight. I had to spend DAYS of my vacation walking around with bandages holding the nails in place while I searched for nail glue (which I guess doesn't exist in Europe lol). I couldn't find any, so I eventually had to buy super glue just to keep the nails attached for the rest of my trip. Between the nearly two-hour wait, not being told the price until it was finally my turn, paying $80 for a very basic set with poor workmanship, and having multiple nails break within 24 hours, this was EASILY the worst nail salon experience I've ever had. also if you're reading this far id also like to mention that, throughout the appointment, the tech repeatedly complained about how late it was getting and how long the appointment was taking. That really upset me because I had asked before waiting if they could still take me, and I was told yes. I then waited nearly two hours. If it was going to be an inconvenience or if there wasn't enough time to do the service properly, I wish they had simply told me from the beginning instead of having me wait for hours only to make me feel like i was the problem.
