When I first found this salon, I thought wow I just got so lucky! Easy parking, close to my office, easy to get an appointment, and service was great from Miye. I'd never felt my nails receive such attention, and delicate care from a new salon before. Ever. I went back a couple of times and things were great. Fast forward a couple of months, and Miye is no longer there because she moved. The guy who did my "refills" just yanked off my gel nails VERY ROUGHLY, to the point that I had to actually pull my hands back and tell him to please not be so rough. Not something I normally do, there's no beauty without a little pain after all, but not like this. Not only that, but I wasn't due to have my gels removed completely, I just needed a refill and I made that clear he said not to worry.... famous last words... I did make sure that the color and length was what I wanted, although of course it took about 10 minutes of "a little shorter please" and "like right up to the top of my finger, please, I like them very short and natural" (I have very small hands and thin fingers) for him to finally cut them down to where I was happy with them. But when I got the bill.. he charged me for removing the nails, AND A NEW SET, which I had already told him wasn't necessary because they had just been removed the last time I was there! My $29 refill turned into a more than $60 ordeal! He took off the charge for the nail removal (which is the only reason I tipped him anything honestly..) but still charged for the full set! I paid, tipped, and will never step back in this place again. I only gave 2 stars I stead of 1, because of the great experience I had the first time, and in hopes that the other nail artists don't follow his same techniques and treatment of customers. I live in South Beach and I was trying to find a nice place where me and my bf got pampered but this place is not that at all. I got a gel pedi and my bf a regular pedi and mani. The water they did the pedi with was cold and we had to asked them to change it, they just put some warm water on top. After that they were supposed to put a hot towel on my bf's feet and the towel was very cold as well. (He was freezing ) My gel nails were pretty decent but not how I like them to be. I can say they were so in a rush to finish the service to get more customers cause the place was busy. I ended up paying a high price for a quick service I could have done myself at home. We called in same day for a bachelorette party of 8 and they were able to accommodate us on the spot. The ladies were excellent. Bear (my nail tech) said that she would give me the best mani and pedi and honestly, my nails have never been as good. She really gave me the perfect manicure. She was very attentive and extremely funny. She even put some music on per our request. Tweetie (other nail tech) was also a sweetheart and did a great job on my friend. My other friend was waited on by one of the guys who seemed very busy and left her waiting on the chair. He did her toes but forgot to put top coat on and her pedi was not good. Another technician, a woman, finished her mani and did a good job. Overall a good experience and Bear was exceptional. The only downside was that the credit card machine went down when we went to pay and we were told we had to pay cash. Most of us had to go get cash from the ATM and pay fees. They should have accommodated us with a small discount for the inconvieneice of having to pay ATM fees, but even after we asked, they said no. read more

Although it is small they are efficient and pleasant. I am very pleased with both my nails and toes!!! Definitely pricey though!!!...but that's what you get when you are on south beach. My total came to $98 (including tip) which is waaaayyy more than what i expected. Especially because after the guy was done i had no hot towel rubbed on my hands or a massage. I have been going here for five years- what I have learned is that your personal experience depends on what you ask for. I always get a dip manicure and a regular pedi. I ask for them to do my nails thicker because I break them easily-- if I don't ask they default to thinner more natural nails, which a lot of people probably like but if that doesn't work for you, you have to say so. Some of the powders last longer than others- I've learned which is which and which to avoid... there is a little trial and error here. And each tech does things a little differently- as expected. So for the best experience, as for what you want and be specific! I can say that all but one of the nail techs I recommend but some are definitely better than others. It is South Beach pricing but you're in South Beach - you want suburbia pricing go to suburbia. read more

I absolutely cannot believe this. I came to this salon 2 times in less than 10 days. My first visit was to refill my UV hard gel manicure. The lady wasn't as tedious as my usual nail tech in New York but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I was just happy to have my nails done despite the fact that the service cost $55.00. Not even a week later one of my nails (my natural nails) BROKE. I was very upset and very disappointed because I always do this specific manicure because it is strong and never breaks or chips my actual nails. I was very annoyed because I had to go back to iNail to replace that nail with an extension and refill my nails once again. The gentleman doing the service insisted he saw where his coworker went wrong and said he would do better. That was Friday... I am back in New York and already two nails have broken one of which I had to replace Saturday and the other today. I don't understand why this manicure specifically is so expensive if the quality is so terrible. I also can't wrap my head around why the quality is so terrible in this salon specifically because my nails have never broken otherwise. I'm annoyed and embarrassed. I will never step foot in that salon again for a UV hard gel Manicure they have no idea wth they are doing and it's overpriced. Not once did my nail tech apologize for over cutting my cuticles. There are no fan air driers for your pedicures. They simply use UV light to dry non gel pedicures.
