Everyone was wearing masks and gloves. I did my gel nails Tuesday (the day before Christmas Eve) because I was going away for the holidays to see family up north. Went in for a mani/pedi and the woman absolutely destroyed my finger nails. Filed way too short and made my cuticles bleed on many fingers. Was an overall rushed process and left me in pain. My raw skin is now showing and hurts to do day to day tasks. When I asked for a discount because of the poor service, they most they could do was a $5 discount. Bad and asymmetric. They tried to use tint to overcome my naturally asymmetry, but tinting is not meant, to tint the skin. It's meant to darken the hair that is there. So now I have asymmetric brows and asymmetric tinting of my skin. read more

Worst gel manicure I've ever recieved. I wanted silver sparkles but I did not want it to look clear, so I asked the manicurist if we should put a coat of white underneath. He said "of course not", and of course, it was super clear after 2 coats. Then I told him I didn't like it (because as I said I didn't want it to be clear) so I chose a white color to put underneath the sparkles, thinking he'd redo it since he messed up. Instead, he got an attitude and proceeded to put more coats on top, yelling at me saying I wasn't supposed to have 6 coats of gel. I told him the reason I have six coats was because the first two were a mistake and that he didn't take them off. I can't believe I was paying to be talked to rudely! Everything I said he would just shake his head and roll his eyes as if I didn't know what I was talking about. The gel manicure looks completely sloppy, and I now have six coats on my nails that makes it look bulky and messy. The icing on the cake was when he finished and said "It doesn't look THAT bad". I have an event I need to attend and my nails look terrible! I would NOT reccomend this place to anyone. Worst customer service ever. read more

If I could I gave them 0 stars! I just stopped by because I needed to fix my acrylic on my 2 feet big toes and to change the regular color in the other toes. The young boy during the service was on the phone all the time ( texting and 1 video call), he didn't pay attention on what he was doing, he made a mistake and he had to start again to put the acrylic! 1hour and 30 minutes!!! Are you kidding me???!!!!!after putting the acrylic and the color he left, he didn't tell me what i had to do, i asked to another employee to give me some oil and plastic wrap to put on my feet so i could wear the shoes and leave. Anyway $35 for 2 toes acrylic( no pedicure! Just put acrylic on 2 toes and regular color on the other 8 toes) When I complained with the woman at the front desk, she started yelling on me...excuse me?? I used to come a lot to this place and always asked the same person to take care of me. I came this Friday to do manicure for a wedding and the day after my nails looked very bad so I came to fix it. The lady who used to do my nails was very rude and disrespectful to me, when I tried to explain her why I'm disappointed (very nicely btw) she was very aggressive and made me feel humiliated in front of everyone around. When I first found this salon, I thought wow I just got so lucky! Easy parking, close to my office, easy to get an appointment, and service was great from Miye. I'd never felt my nails receive such attention, and delicate care from a new salon before. Ever. I went back a couple of times and things were great. Fast forward a couple of months, and Miye is no longer there because she moved. The guy who did my "refills" just yanked off my gel nails VERY ROUGHLY, to the point that I had to actually pull my hands back and tell him to please not be so rough. Not something I normally do, there's no beauty without a little pain after all, but not like this. Not only that, but I wasn't due to have my gels removed completely, I just needed a refill and I made that clear he said not to worry.... famous last words... I did make sure that the color and length was what I wanted, although of course it took about 10 minutes of "a little shorter please" and "like right up to the top of my finger, please, I like them very short and natural" (I have very small hands and thin fingers) for him to finally cut them down to where I was happy with them. But when I got the bill.. he charged me for removing the nails, AND A NEW SET, which I had already told him wasn't necessary because they had just been removed the last time I was there! My $29 refill turned into a more than $60 ordeal! He took off the charge for the nail removal (which is the only reason I tipped him anything honestly..) but still charged for the full set! I paid, tipped, and will never step back in this place again. I only gave 2 stars I stead of 1, because of the great experience I had the first time, and in hopes that the other nail artists don't follow his same techniques and treatment of customers. I for one will never return to find out. read more
