Had the best mani/pedi yesterday at HM nails! My gel manicure and regular pedicure came out beautifully and my technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and super considerate of my skin/nails/preferences/everything. Loved it and will definitely be coming back!!

The staff are very polite. I was visiting and wanted to be pampered. I got a pedicure, manicure, and facial wax. We loved being able to sip on wine while we had our services done. My stylist did a great job for the most part. I realized I picked the wrong pedicure package so I didnt get all I wanted done. My friend also had a pedicure and hers was great as well

This place is definitely more expensive than I'm used to spending for a gel manicure, but Marjory has proved to be worth the extra money. My nails last 3+ weeks and have never been in better shape. So glad I finally found my nail girl in the Miami Beach area!

I came here on an emergency nail visit before going on vacation, and i am so glad I chose this spot! Their prices are better than anywhere nearby, and they did an amazing job. My nails are still on 2 weeks later and barely look grown out. The nail tech that helped me was great, I can't remember her name but I think it was Zula or Zuya. Thank you! read more

Traveling to Miami area on honey moon with my wife. Have been here a 2-3 other times and would have given a perfect review if not for this experience. My wife was assigned to a much older nail tech. She was very rough removing the acrylic / gel from her hands / feet. Additionally, she cut my wife's hands multiple times. Again, I have had a great experience here in the past but I would avoid the much older nail tech if possible. read more

Was staying a hotel nearby and needed to get my cracked winter feet and hands taken care of. Booked an appointment with Genesis and my tech was Naviesla. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Naviesla was very meticulous and patient as I was indecisive about my nail color and shape. The basic mani pedi is $45 which I think is very reasonably priced. I upgraded to the "spa" for $75 which included a 10 min foot/leg massage and a longer hand massage. I'm not sure the massage was quite worth it as I like a really strong massage and even after asking for it to be stronger it was still just ok. But otherwise everything was great - their massage chairs are powerful and actually are decent at massaging. It's a no frills kind of place and most the other customers were retirees who took calls on speakerphone and seemed to be constantly complaining. I found it amusing but it's not the most relaxing environment. For the price, level of quality, and service I highly recommend this place. read more

Pleasant and calm experience. The salon was pretty quiet on a Saturday, only a few technicians and customers. I was able to get right in for a basic pedicure and was delightfully surprised. While the technician who did my toes seemed like she wasn't very experienced, she made sure my feet looked beautiful. They didn't have the biggest selection of colors but, there polishes clearly weren't watered down. The salon itself was unassuming, and really nothing special, very basic. My chair didn't work, which was a disappointment. All that being said, there isn't anything special about this place but they will do a good job if you're looking to get your nails done last minute or or someone who doesn't prefer all of the bells and whistles. read more

The girl I had for my pedicure was mediocre and not very friendly. I was visiting Miami, I'm from Virginia and my regular nail salon provides a much better experience and atmosphere. However that's not the main issue here. **I witnessed with my own 2 eyes, an employee come over to my pedicure station, reach in and grab the metal foot scraper that had just been used on my feet. read more

Greatt way to spend a rainy day in Miami! The ladies were so nice and did a great job. I got the classic pedicure and my toes and feet are ready to hit the beach and dance all night long. I tried this nail salon for the first time and I did not get a good technician. She did a decent job but kept on telling me to stop moving. I was moving because she was cutting too close. When I complained, she started giving me attitude. I don't want to rate the salon by one tech, but they should be reminded of how to deal with customers. Probably won't be coming back. read more

One of the girls did not know how to wax. I had burn scars for months on my upper lip after telling her my skin is sensitive therefore please do not go over the same area more than once with wax or even the wax strip. read more

Stopped by today for an eyebrow wax and had THE WORST experience. The technician literally waxed off 1/3 of my eyebrow. When I went to the front very upset and said I wasn't paying for the service, the women at the desk was so rude. She kept saying she didn't see what the problem was even though it was painfully obvious what had happened. The women that did the waxing kept saying my eyebrows were like that when I came in, which they most definitely were not. My skin gets very red after a waxing and you could see that she went too high up with the wax because my skin was red in that area. You would think that if a client was that upset, angry and near tears because a chunk of her eye brow was missing that they would do something to make it right, like not charging for the service. But no, all I got was a bunch of attitude from them. I said I was never coming back and would be leaving a bad review as soon as I could and they said "go ahead". Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Consider your self warned. So just a little update: the owner contacted me and apologized on behalf of her employees. She also offered to mail me a refund which I was very appreciative of. That was 20 days ago and I haven't received it. I messaged her again and she said she put it in the mail...that was 10 days ago. I know the post office can be slow but come on! I messaged her again asking her where my refund is and she is no longer responding to me. It's no wonder this place is such a mess!! read more

I first came here 3 years ago as I was passing by by coincidence and I have, since then, come back every month to do my manicure and pedicure. All the girls are utterly professional and friendly and the sits make very strong and relaxing massages. Also, Lucy, makes the most insane massages and reflexology, like seriously... she unblocks all your cramps and pains in the back. She is so good! I live in LA and needed to fix a nail. Came across this salon after going to another place that I had found on Yelp and (they didn't have time to take me) so they sent me here. I did a walk in. They took me right away. I ended up getting a nail replaced and color change. Gel over acrylic. She did a really good job and reshaped a bit as well. Staff was friendly. Next time I'm in Miami and need my nails done i will come here again. read more

I've been several times and the quality and service are amazing. They use the best products and nail brands which DOES MATTER. All the girls are great and pay attention to detail, making sure every nail is perfect. They don't charge for silly things like you see on the beach (gel removal, flip flops, etc) they also don't make you feel pressured to get an add on such as designs on your nails or extra scrub "for 5 dollars". Super consistent and very happy with them. I go every 2 weeks and enjoy the experience. They care about the work that they do and you can tell through their service. read more

My family and I stopped by this location while vacationing in Miami. We got two pedicures & one manicure, which the technicians did a good job on. I'm leaving a 1 star, because I was overcharged and still left a great tip. I asked for the basic $17 work and my total given at the end was $71.00! I'm not sure if they charged my fiance's pedicure on my tab, which he paid $27.00 for separately, prior to my payment. Whatever the case, I don't like getting taken advantage of, especially while across country vacationing. read more

While travelling, I needed a pedicure. My feet were really rough as I hadn't had one in awhile. Juanita (I believe that was her name) gave me the best exfoliation on my feet I've ever gotten. I also needed my nail repaired and a fresh manicure, which was all accomodated in a very short time, along with the salon servicing approximately 20 other people. Very professional and kind staff. They also offer mimosas and coffee among other drinks. Excellent service read more

The salon itself is not clean, which is alarming for a business that provides waxing services. Sanitation should be a top priority, and it clearly is not. Even more troubling is how the business is run. Staff are reportedly instructed to ignore overcharging customers unless the customer complains. Instead of being transparent, the approach seems to be "don't mention it unless they notice." That alone should make clients think twice. The way employees are treated is equally disturbing. Staff are spoken to disrespectfully, paid late, and sometimes given short hours on their paychecks. When employees ask about pay or scheduling, they're told that if they don't like it, they can find another job. Some were told they would be off for one week, only to wait four months. When they respectfully asked when they would return to work, they were fired for being "disrespectful." There also appears to be little to no proper training. Waxers who expressed they were not ready to perform services were told to "get it together" instead of being properly trained. This not only puts staff under pressure but also puts clients at risk. Multiple employees across their six salon locations have reportedly quit due to what seems to be unprofessional behavior from the owners. That should say a lot. Clients deserve clean facilities, fair pricing, and properly trained professionals. Based on what I experienced and observed, Uni K Wax South Beach does not meet those standards. Please be careful.

I can't stop looking at them lol The only things I'm confused about/would like clarification on as I want to know exactly what I'm receiving so I can ask for the right service: Apres doesn't have Anais listed as a provider, I don't remember seeing any Apres polishes (tbf I didn't look super closely since I knew I wanted OPI), and the set of gel tips was not from an Apres box set. It was my first time receiving this style but have seen friends get it done in Manhattan where all the criteria was met. My tech didn't speak much English, I only know Bosnian for now, and my nails were looking great so I didn't question it while there! *updating to 5 stars after a very quick and informative response. It comes off with regular acetone and doesn't weaken nails as gel products do. It lasts for at least two weeks. Maria is fantastic. She is an expert at Dazzle Dry products, is bilingual and also does waxing and other treatments. The spa also has manicurists who do regular and gel manicures, but my go-to person is Maria for the Dazzle Dry Nails. I've never been happier. In addition, she is a joy to speak with and I go there just to chat if she doesn't have a customer.

If you were traveling for work and staying at this hotel, and needed a day to just forget that everyone existed, this would be great for that. My friends and I flew down from Richmond during a crazy winter storm and decided to get a day pass here among other things. The day pass included spa access during their open hours, as well as pool access. Unfortunately, because of the unseasonably cool weather, the hotel had not opened the pool which pretty much made the spa the only option for anyone else who had purchased the resort pass too, and I'm just not sure the facilities were up to that task. The spa itself had a relaxation area, which was three lounge chairs in the room with a hot tub and a cold tub. In the room next to that, there was a dry sauna, a wet sauna, and a shower. I'm not a huge fan of the dry sauna, dry heat isn't really my thing, but I did rather like the wet sauna room. It was nice and large, and the hot steamy air felt great on my poor frozen winter storm lungs. The cold plunge pool is also not my thing, but the hot tub was awesome, but it had a couple of pretty huge problems. The first was that it was up a flight of stairs. Everyone in our party has limited mobility in some fashion and One of our party uses a walker and isn't super mobile at all, so it was very difficult to actually make it to the hot tub. Might have been nice to know it wasn't actually accessible before we booked the spa. Luckily, even though she isn't super mobile, she is able to haul herself very slowly up stairs, provided it has a nice sturdy railing... Which it did have a railing... unfortunately the railing was completely loose at the bottom and not particularly sturdy since it was only partially connected. It had stone steps, and due to the nature of the room, they were a bit wet so they had nonskid stickers on them, but it had unfortunately peeled up and was mostly loose. Ultimately, our friend ended up using us as the steady banister to get up the stairs, but that probably wasn't any safer since it wasn't like we had anything to hold onto because again... slippery stairs and loose banister. We made it up safely, and then try to get in the hot tub. The tub itself is square, has a ladder railing, but we couldn't actually see any ladder steps, so we kind of had to guess where was safe to get in the pool. Being the most mobile of the group, I ended up sitting on the edge of the tub and feeling around with my feet until I figured out that the tub has three walls with stone benches around it that we could step on and get in. We only actually figured out after getting out that the pool had sunken footholds in the wall, not an actual ladder. Never would have found those getting in, but learn from our ignorance. The hot tub is awesome, the jets were great and absolutely the thing we needed after the plane flight and freezing winter storms, but everyone else felt that way too, so we were unable to get back in it again like we would have liked. We ended up heading out earlier than we intended and just sitting outside for the rest of our stay. Overall, the place is small, which makes it hit or miss as to whether or not you can use the facilities, which makes it hit or miss as to whether it is a good value for the day pass. You may luck out, or you may strike out.

I followed Heydi to her new salon because she is phenomenal ! The space is immaculate with state of the art massage / pedi chairs. The music is perfect and the ambiance relaxing. Most of all the service is outstanding !! I am never rushed and my mani & pedi is perfection ( she cures my ingrown toe nails) ! My favorite place. All the nail techs do quality work and take pride in it. They are all professional, courteous and caring. No matter how busy, you never feel rushed.
