The office staff is seriously disorganized, and unfortunately it shows in how patients are treated…read more The staff often appears frustrated and unhappy, and that attitude gets taken out on patients who are already dealing with stressful health issues. Dr. Chang reviewed my sleep apnea test with me over two months ago, and together we selected a CPAP machine. Since then, I have heard absolutely nothing. After multiple follow-up calls, I was repeatedly told that the delay was due to my insurance company not approving the equipment. When I contacted my insurance directly, they informed me they could not authorize something that had never even been submitted by the office. On top of that, the patient portal constantly has problems, making communication even harder. Sleep apnea is a serious medical condition, and delays like this can directly impact a person's health and quality of life. Patients should not have to chase down basic medical follow-up or discover on their own that paperwork was never submitted. My advice: pick up copies of your exam results and consider seeing another pulmonologist.

They explained the sleep study process and results in clear, plain language, addressed my concerns, and followed up to ensure my treatment was effective. The sleep lab staff were professional and the facility was comfortable and on time. I feel confident in the care I received and appreciate their thorough, patient-centered approach.

Oddly enough, he asked him, on the rare occasion my dad was alone, and "alert" -- my dad was sedated most of the time and being in the ICU, it made him somewhat delirious. To question him about the next steps, when he clearly wasn't thinking straight, without any other family member there was infuriating. My dad took a turn for the worse because of this doctor. He is callous, cold, and he does not care about his patients. Had I taken him to a different hospital, and different doctor, I am positive he would not have died the way he did. Awful place.

Dr Goldberg had my husband on four different inhalers and now my husband is on only one inhalers. I kept telling the doctor and his assistant (who NEVER gets back to you for refill or anything else) that he was overlapping the inhalers he prescribed but he wouldn't listen to me. When I told him his assistant doesn't get back to me, he doesn't believe me!! The deciding factor was my husband was experiencing more shortness of breath in January of 2021 when COVID was still very rampant and I called to get my husband in for an appointment in ASAP. The young receptionist told me APRIL!!! I said my husband is experiencing shortness of breath, can't the doctor see him sooner? NO...APRIL!! She told us to go to the ER where COVID is everywhere!! We immediately changed doctors and our new doctor made the time for us immediately through a ZOOM meeting and spent an hour with us. Dr Goldberg NEVER spent that amount of time or was that thorough. If you want to breathe, I do not recommend Dr Goldberg or his incompetent office.

I could understand $100+ balances, something excessive, but I've been in 3 times prior complaining about this phantom additional $20 charge, to no avail. Every time they demand I pay, and every time I refuse. They then look in their system and see, yes, I have already paid this $20 school form fee on Xx date. Then I pay my copay and they say they will get someone in billing to look at the charge. Today my wife took my son in and they forced her to pay this $47 balance before they would give my son his biweekly allergy shots. Shameful behavior IMO, over $27 (since $20 we'd already paid and they confirmed this, just their system not reflecting it for w/e reason). It's impossible to get anyone to actually answer the phone, and for billing the only option is to leave a message. We've been going here several years and the service is going more and more downhill. Long wait times past your appointment time were always a thing that annoyed me, now this billing nonsense as well as conditioning my son's care based on paying a less than $50 balance is just greedy and unacceptable.

I paid tons of copays for lab work and prescriptions (of which I told her I did not want to do) for her to only tell me what I DON'T have. She could not tell me what was wrong and was completely uninterested in finding out what the problem is. She just kept throwing medication and prescriptions at a dart board in the hopes that one worked and I hated each and everyone. She refused to give me my lab work, only "lab notes" on my xrays, and was completely willingly helpless when I requested a new referral to someone more qualified who could tell me what was wrong. I'd say she's a snake oil doctor who is only in her profession for treatment, not a cure or relief meaning she will only tell you what she doesn't know, roulette your health with pills until something magically works, and just hook you into coming back, not in actually trying to solve your problems. Save your time and find someone else who will take your concerns seriously and not gamble with them.
