Iced latte with a special message

Hands down the best espresso in about 8,000 miles! I chose Incidental at random on the last day of a road trip spanning the US and Canada this past August. An iced latte rooted in the celebration of coffee and homecoming set me up for the last day of driving. While the pastry (a strawberry scone, I think) was a bit undercooked, the coffee was perfect. I admire the hustle, passion, and kindness of the young couple who own this coffee shop and roastery--and their art skills. If I lived in the areaI'd be back weekly or even more often. The cafe is clean, bright, and comfortable. As it is, in know I'll return whenever I can.

The bright and light blend packs a punch. Fantastic.

I can't believe I stumbled upon this place in Provo, Utah! I am a coffee, bean snob, and very hard to please. This place had only two choices, a daily drip which was light and bright and delicious and in espresso that was on the lighter side in full of flavor. If you really like coffee, I mean, really appreciate the bean without any added accoutre man, this place is for you. From CHATGPT: Provo: Best Coffee Roasters & Cafés 1. Incidental Coffee Roasters * A rising star in Provo's coffee scene, Incidental Coffee Roasters began roasting in 2021 and opened their downtown café in early 2025. They focus on single-origin beans with nuanced flavor profiles--like their Costa Rica Chirripó with notes of molasses, pistachio, and apple tea. Their cozy café at 27 N 100 W is open Monday through Saturday, 7 AM to 4 PM.

Finally a specialty coffee spot in Utah County! I had a washed Kenya pour over that was delicious, and for $5 it's a great deal.

My favorite place in Utah County. The baked good are out of this world. Everything is mad with intention, knowledge, and love.

Truly the only safe space in Provo to get a morning coffee. Been to them all as well.

The caramel was light in mine, a pleasant contrast to caramel lattes that emphasize over-saccharine sweetness over the richness of caramel - it could have been that they just used an appropriate amount or it could have been the underlying psychological effect of sitting on the couch while my kids played games and drank their hot chocolates with whipped cream. Either way, I appreciated it. The servers were professional and courteous, and the rose latte came out fast. That said, the room was packed while we were here - a testament to the vibe and the smiles they brew here. Glad we chose this place for our cozy morning respite this morning!

My personal favorite is the Thousand Mountains blend of Colombian and Guatemalan beans; it's their darkest roast, bold and strong with a hint of chocolate-ness yet smooth and flavorful. I've tried several of Sumato's blends, but this one is tops for me! I've been ordering for a couple years and always appreciate the roasted freshness of their beans when they arrive.
