I took my family to do the Runaway AI themed escape room. The business is located in a strip mall, but the anchor store was a Harbor Freight that was going out of business, so nearby parking was abundant. We went on a Saturday nice. The front lobby was clean and had a no-charge foosball table you could play while waiting for your game to start, which was a nice Ent-Bite. (I am coining that here!) They also offered water bottles for sale. This will be helpful once the Arizona heat starts up in May (and ends in October). The AI room was clean and nicely decorated. We successfully escaped the room. It was fun seeing my husband and my two boys having fun. The negative - the location was understaffed. The business had just one employee working. This employee had to monitor all the rooms, which included giving clues to those in the various game rooms. He also was checking people in, taking pictures of those leaving, answering phones, and I assume also cleaning and prepping the room when people left. I get businesses wanting to increase their bottom line but they are being shortsighted when they cut corners that impact user experience. An escape room is about engaging in distraction. An understaffed escape room causes users to wait on a games master to address their questions while the clock is counting down. Our host said he added some time due to the delay. While that was nice, it would have been better to actually play the game as it should have been played so that our sense of accomplishment is not devalued. Anyway, the room was good, the theme and decoration was fine. Would I go back again, yes and no. There is nothing stopping me from going back, but if I find a business that better staffs its business, which also shows kindness to its staff, I prefer to support that business owner. read more

We had a group of 4 successfully escape the Spirit Room!! It was so incredibly fun (and not scary at all!). The staff is very friendly and helpful with hints. The puzzles were just challenging enough where we didn't feel frustrated but also didn't feel super easy either. We got out with just 6 minutes left on the clock so we definitely took majority of the time given to complete everything! We learned it's a small family owned company who designs their own stories too which is awesome! Highly recommend checking them out. read more

So far our experience has been mixed. The first room we did, Spirit Trap, was great. Everything was working and clean. The rooms are large offering plenty of space for a big group. The give you a tablet to mark off the different challenges within the room so you can track your progress. They also give you another tablet to take notes and you have a walkie talkie to communicate with the game host. The first game went well. We loved it. The second game, Toymaker, apparently had a rough group before us (that's what we were told) that broke one of the cupboard apparatuses so we were lost on our progress because we didn't know which challenges we had completed. Another puzzle, comprised of buttons also wasn't working and it was what was needed to unlock the final door. That game was a total disappointment because of the broken items that caused a disjointed experience. I may return for their third room, but I really haven't decided. Hands down the best escape room experience I've ever had!! We found Incredible Escape Rooms online and we were fortunate enough to book on the same day!! With four people, we paid around $30 each, and with more people you add into the group, per person becomes cheaper. We had a reservation at 7:30 and came about 40 minutes early. We were fine with hanging out in the lobby area until we got started but they were able to accommodate us!! I met the whole team, they are all super sweet and you can tell they enjoy what they do. I think the best part of my experience would be because they engaged with us even during our timed game! We booked the Spirit Trap, and we were able to complete with 3 minutes to spare!! If you're looking for something creepy and chilling, I'd definitely recommend this room! We will definitely come back. My friend had an amazing first time experience and we are so thrilled they just opened up near us not too long ago!! read more

The place itself is super nice- it is a nice space to have an escape room. We picked The Toymaker- unlike other escape rooms we been to- we had very little interaction with the game master pre game- it was just a 'sign this waiver, watch this video, and wait while I get this other room set up and make sure your room is good to go' we were handed a walkie talkie, an iPod and a little dry erase board. The iPod had clues for each level- helpful except it restarted about 20 minutes into our time and we couldn't get it back to where we could view clues at all- frustrating to say the least! The walkie talkie was to correspond with the game master- which was not what our mandatory video said to do?! And the dry erase board had numbers 1-12 written on it and we were told to cross the puzzles off as we passed them to ensure we didn't get 'mixed up'. Well we were moving right along - and crossing off numbers until we got to 6 and then all of a sudden the next puzzle we passed was #9? And the iPad had stopped working by then so we had no way of checking to see if we missed anything. The puzzles were OK to figure out- but there could have been an easier transition from one puzzle to the next. The other room could have had way more decorations etc- this is a 'Toymaker' game- more toys? The game master was not helpful- maybe you need more people there when you have all three rooms booked? We had to wait an additional 10 minutes past our start time. Just poorly managed I guess? 3 stars due to nice building. read more

This was our 1st time doing an escape room. I was told that this was their easiest room. We had fun but I feel like I have to say that there are 3 things that weren't great. 1-I feel like they should give small groups and/or 1st timers more time. We didn't know much of the basics and found it pretty challenging for 2 people. Some of the tips weren't helpful since we already figured out what our tips were. 2-It was pretty pricey- we definitely should have had more time for what we paid 3-Don't dump the game pieces out (on the table) message and things like that, was annoying. So I spent time putting the pieces from the table back into the container. It's not like I threw them on the floor... I was already dealing with a short time to get through everything and being our first time. We weren't destroying anything but didn't have time to sift through tiny pieces for clues. We were literally the only people in the building at that time (besides for the 2 employees). I think you could have scooped the pieces up later... Would I do another room? Yes...but not here. read more
