Huge mistake. My time was brief, quite literally. I was there a day before I felt dread creep in and moved back out as quick as humanly possible. The entire ordeal lasted all of two weeks, my initial viewing hid the reality that it was gross, overrun with pests and would end up making me sick. I never signed a lease, they weren't available when I was and I needed to move in quickly. Turned out to be a bittersweet thing since I was happy to leave but my entire $1200 deposit was taken while I'm having to run the keys for drop off to a Huge swanky house the guy lived in that showed no signs he would tolerate living in the conditions he tried Fostering off on me! That and the drunk guy next door was his handyman who tried to come in after dark to start "working on things". Seriously? I couldn't begin to explain the situation as well as I'd like, to paint the full picture of not just my biased feelings did to standards and expectations but the overall experience I endured dealing with the individual and the property. I won't include specifics to the property address or the names of anyone involved to avoid "bashing" a person versus giving a review based on experience and options. Overall: A giant headache. And personally, after such a deceptive and uncaring, and cold first experience with a member of King Realtors, I can say I will NEVER in my lifetime allow anyone I know or meet to use this company when there are so many other options that won't get you screwed over and regretting that decision. Mind you this was Years ago (over 6) and I still have the urge to write ugly things on the real estate signs I pass to educate the passing masses what type of person their money is supporting. Because honestly why support a local business if the people are a money grubbing type jerk you wouldn't want to know? If you wouldn't want it for your family/friends, you damn sure shouldn't want it for yourself. You deserve better!

I would never rent from or refer anyone to this company. First off, their contractors, handyman,…read moreplumbers....all nice people. Boardwalk's customer service? Awful. They do not service the tenants as well as they do the owners. I never once knew who my point of contact was. The person I did contact was not much of a people person and NEVER gave me all the information I needed. They were never quick about getting someone out to our home. At one point, our floor was leaking water for a month and mushrooms were literally growing out off my cabinets. I called after a month of pleading for a repair, only to have the woman on the phone practically laugh at me and ask if I was done. Another time, our toilet was clogged for a week and a half. By the time they came, the issue resolved itself and they charged us for the visit! Eventually we just lived with the broken things because that was better than dealing with the company. I was miserable until the day we left having to deal with them. Even moving out, in showing our home to prospective clients, they made us feel unwelcome in the home we'd paid that month's rent for. Not to mention our deposit. We paid over $900 and they took over half of it and we worked hard to clean it. We are a military family. We respect other people's property and no how to take care of it. There's no way we caused $500 in damages.

Three months later we had to 48 hours to close on our new house or lose it so we asked Lusi to contact the investor to say that we were willing to take the offer. She didn't even bother to reach out to them for several days, which meant we lost that opportunity! In the end, MY HUSBAND found another investor to sell our house to. We contacted them, negotiated, and sold the house. But guess what?! Lusi still got close to $18,000 for US selling our own house. I have no idea what she did to earn that money.

I am writing this review to share my experience with the property management at Marshall Reddick…read morein San Antonio. On a positive note, the team was very responsive prior to move-in, answering phone calls and text messages in a timely manner. Unfortunately, that level of service dropped significantly once I was in the home. Post-move-in communication was exceptionally poor. I often had to call multiple times without receiving a response, despite the company expecting immediate replies whenever they reached out to me. We also experienced recurring issues with the home's water heater, losing hot water on at least three separate occasions. When we submitted maintenance requests, we were advised to turn up the temperature on the unit. While this provided a temporary fix, the underlying issue kept happening. It was only after sending a stern email and copying the property manager that the problem was finally addressed properly. To make matters worse, upon move-out, we were improperly charged a cleaning fee despite having hired professional cleaners and submitting the receipts directly to Joshua Garza. Joshua was unresponsive regarding the charge, and even after CCing Melisa Day, I still received no reply or resolution to this day. The lack of accountability and communication has been extremely frustrating. If you want to avoid a headache, I recommend to NOT lease through this company.

We've submitted multiple maintenance requests that have either gone unanswered or been marked as completed without anyone ever coming to our home. One of the most concerning issues is a large hole our neighbor's dog dug under the fence, allowing it access to our backyard. I was told they would "look into it, and call me back" but I never received a follow-up. Despite multiple calls, voicemails, and an online work order, the issue remains unresolved weeks later. We also reported an unbalanced ceiling fan that appears unsafe to use. After waiting over two months, I received a notification stating the repair had been completed, even though no one ever came to inspect or fix it. Communication has been extremely poor. Calls are rarely returned, voicemails go unanswered, and it feels nearly impossible to get a response from maintenance, the tenant coordinator, or Property Manager Melisa Day. Another frustration is that because these are new construction townhomes, tenants are expected to coordinate directly with vendors for certain repairs. That responsibility should fall on property management, not the tenant. To make matters worse, there is a significant gnat infestation. Despite paying for private pest control every two months and purchasing Zevo traps at my own expense, the problem persists. After speaking with several neighbors, I learned this is a community-wide issue. My experience has left me feeling that once the lease is signed, tenant concerns are no longer a priority. If you are considering renting here, I encourage you to carefully research the property before making your decision. She send me a few listing online and said to call her a few months before we move.... I called Kathy the 2ND week of September to catch up. With in minutes she sent me about 10 listing to check out. She picked me up from the hotel...my toddler in tow and we started mid Friday afternoon. We checked out several developments that day and started again the next morning. By 2 pm on Sat. we already found the PERFECT home....and about $50K cheaper than we expected. She took care of everything for escrow and was there through closing....we stayed strong when KB home tried to screw us....that is a whole other review... Kathy was very patient and listen to my needs.....and QUICKLY found the PERFECT home.....even though she said the perfect home may not exist...but it is perfect. Initially we were quite taken by her "sweet older lady charm" , all the "ya'll"'s and what nots. Then came the first house we made an offer on. The house was on the market for a year, we made the offer, signed thepaper work and then that evening MAGICALLY another " bidder"/ offer showed up! terrible shock. Then was our other house offer that we actually offered the asking price and STILL we did not get it. Leddy claimed that she had no idea why the buyer did not choose us. this was repeated 7-8 times, we make an offer and we get "over bid" One house my wife really liked for a good potential for fixing up but leddy talked us out of it reporting a poor relationship with the realtor. We did confront her that she is not representing us well and asked after we finally found a house for her to decrease her percentage and she utterly refused. We have not seen or heard from her since we bought the house. As a new couple in San Antonio, we had our faith in our Realtor and we felt violated and cheated. She was pushy and aggressive showing on our doorstep un-announced every day, day by day and when the signing occurred, she is no where to be found. Seek another Realtor, you have been warned.
