1st timer here, decided to order take out because I had Roti Wraps to fill. Ordered the: Chicken Madrasi $14.00 When I opened the container it was really liquidy, it looked like soup. I used a spoon to see what was underneath and I hardly found much. There was a few pieces of chicken, peppers, & onions, (better than the portion of the Lamb Korma).Taste wise, it was not bad. But way overpriced for the amount I got. Lamb Korma $15.50 This was even worse...again looked like soup. Spoon underneath and dished out maybe 8-10 small rock size lamb cubes. Nothing was in it..but raisins, lamb cubes, and a large container of soup as sauce. Taste wise was not bad. But again way overpriced for the amount I got. Samosas $2 for 3 Asked if I wanted sauce. Thought it came with it..but the tamarin chutney cost me $1.25. It wasn't even a chutney...again it was way too liquidy, like flavoured water. There is taste..but it was way too watery. I have not been to India 360 for about 3 years. I was working across the road and decided to check it out. I had the Chicken Madrasi and the Dahl Makhani. The service was friendly and the food was served hot and spicy. I like to try new things and often some old classics. I didn't realize that I had order two cream-based dishes that both leveraged curry leaves. The food was good, and the spicing level was perfect, but I didn't like having the shredded curry leaves in my Dahl. The leaves were easier to pick out in the chicken dish. The dishes were quite large and there was a lot of sauce with them for dipping. I don't take rice, or Naan, so there was a lot of sauce left over. It was a very good combination of flavours. They were able to serve me a big choice of gluten free dishes which made it easier to try different things. There was different dishes available from different parts of India, so there was a good selection. I liked it, but next time I will try one dry dish and one dish with sauce instead. read more

The food here is flavorful. The meats and vegetables within the dishes are definitely lacking, with only a few pieces in the dishes. The naan bread is great, however we do find the garlic naan to be a bit oily. We've had the butter chicken, chicken korma, matar paneer, paneer Tika masala, all with garlic naan. read more

I really enjoy the food served here. I'm by no means an Indian food critic (this is the first Indian food restaurant I've been to), so choosing what I want was always an adventure. But whatever I chose was always really tasty. They will also adjust the spice lever upon request, which is nice. The food is a bit pricey, so I generally save some money by taking out and making my own rice/sides. Also, the restaurant is usually uncomfortably empty, so it feels weird to me to eat there. If you're looking to try Indian takeout, I highly recommend this place. read more

We had our first chance to visit the new India 360 in Stouffville on Sunday. We popped in on the spur of the moment to quickly pick something to take home....and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendly, fast service. We have our favourite Indian restaurants in Toronto, but are delighted to find this little gem closer to home! We ordered the butter chicken and chicken biryani. Both items were perfectly prepared with just the right amount of heat. The flavour was delicious. We look forward to returning soon. read more

The first time I went to this place we ordered only NAAN, we waited while they prepared them so it took about 30 mins. We didnt mind because they were delicious. However, Extremely expensive compared to all other south asian restaurants. we ordered them again a couple weeks later along with butter chicken, kababs and chicken biryani. Firstly i want to add, the naan were not fresh and were a little on the raw side. Secondly, the butter chicken was too sweet. Lastly, the kababs cost $13 and we got 2 kababs cut up in 5 pieces. Horrible. I think all south asians are smart enough to realize how they are ripping off customers and only non south Asians would go there if they do not realize what the norms are. I think the inconsistency in service and the high prices for mediocre food is the reason me and my husband will not visit again. India 360 is by far one of the best hidden treasures in Town. I have been there three times now. I spoke to the chef and he was delightful. I ordered butter chicken each time and Naan.(yes I know not very adventurous) I have also tried the samosas. I must say the curry is wonderful. You can taste the various spices and you just know it is made with the best of ingredients. I would recommend the butter chicken(obviously I have had it three times now..) :) The restaurant is very clean. Décor is traditional. I will be back again for sure. read more

Way too expensive for unauthentic oily slop. Butter chicken had TWO pieces of chicken, then a couple of bits. It was oily, weirdly sweet, and wreaked havoc on our stomachs. How do you let something like that come out of your restaurant?! This place is terrible, save your money. read more

Where can I give this place no stars? The only interesting thing about the restaurant was the iPads on the table. First, I am a person who loves authentic food. I have eaten many of the items on the menu and knew what I was ordering. Unfortunately the kitchen staff didn't know how to properly cook my order. And I ordered off their menu! We waited almost 30 minutes for the entrees to arrive. When I wife asked for milk for her tea she was stared at with disbelief that anyone would want such a thing. They then brought her a cup of milk to pour into her tea. That should have been the warning, but we ignored it Vindaloo on the menu was rated as being hot. I have had Vindaloo before and knew what I was ordering. I especially instructed our waitress, who looked like she didn't understand the food or want to be there, that I wanted the food authentic and I knew it would be served hotter than most North Americans would expect. What I go was a bland platter of sauce covered food. Not impressed and wanting exactly what I ordered I tried to find our server, who had disappeared into the kitchen with all the other staff members. There was yelling in there and after five minutes I was able to get the attention of another waitress and explained the displeasure with the food. To her credit, she removed the dish and I wanted another 10 minutes before it appeared out of the kitchen. Again, it was not near the heat level that the dish is supposed to have. When I asked the waitress for some hot peppers in order to "Spice the dish up" she went to the kitchen and returned with six whole chilli's on a plate. It was like the kitchen staff gave us the finger, saying if you want hot, eat these. Little did they know that I actually eat those exact peppers as a side dish all the time. But, any good restaurant would cut them up into easily sprinkled parts so you would not have to bite into the chilli themselves. Well, my wife had one and it took the other five to bring the Vindalu heat level close to what is should have been. As a note, the lamb int he Vindalu was tough, and hard to chew. This is indicative of a meat overcooked at hight heat. I only tried a few other things and found them bland for the culture. Should have gone to the Tia place next door. After finishing our food we asked for the bill. It came after 15 minutes. We place our credit card into the folder and after 30 minutes started to use the "Call Staff" alert on the iPad. We finally got out of the place after just over 2 hours. The staff meeting in the kitchen was not a good experience. Durring our mean it sounded like there was still construction going on in the back. Why would you do that durring your opening hours? Why would you open if your not complete the construction? All in all it was a very negative experience. If you're looking for authentic Indian food you're not going to get it here. Best to take a trip to The Host in Markham for a buffet lunch for 1/4 of the price of this place and get food cooked correctly. We will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

Used to go for lunch (food is fantastic) but recently had to find somewhere else to go. Most people in my company take lunch from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. They turn their ovens/stove on at noon, so there's no chance to get your food (with naan bread) before 12:40-12:45, and that's when we need to actually be starting to head back to work. Great restaurant, but do yourself a favour and don't go there for lunch. read more

Not good - go elsewhere. We ordered lamb vindaloo, mutter paneer, chicken biryani, and some naan to take out. The curries were really thin, almost soupy, and the vindaloo which is typically a vinegar-based curry was creamy. At least the portions and quality of meat were good. The biryani was bland, but not overly oily as you sometimes get. Seriously disappointing. The place was completely empty when we picked up our food at 8pm on a Friday night, so I think others have drawn the same conclusions. read more

Where to begin! if i could give this place no stars i would. Upon arrival at the restaurant we were the only ones in the restaurant and had our choice of table. we picked one away from the entrance so that we would not be disturbed by people coming in. We were greeted by a non-engaging staff who seemed to now want to be there. We sat down to a table that was unclean and had to ask the server to clean it. She then proceeded to bring over our glassware, which was very dirty for restaurant standards. she informed us to 'call her over when we're to order', which was fine. we were ready to order an appetizer and two main dishes to share between two of us. Had to point out the dishes because the server had no idea what we were ordering it looked like she had never been in an indian restaurant before. this where things started to go bad. I guess it was the end of the shift for our server as i believe the owner and their family members showed up. there was no 'pass off' of the table from one server to another for us but we had to figure out who our server was. 30 minutes later and several times asking if 'our order was place' and 'how much longer it would take' our appetizer came out to us, server never provided us individual plates to move the food from the family plate to our own. we had to eat over the table which was not enjoyable. a few minutes before our dishes were coming out our new server came to us and asked if we wanted Naan bread or rice. Now, i had been there before on takeout orders and Naan bread was provided each time included in the meal. She decided to argue with me saying that it was not included on sit down but provided with takeout because "they apply a 15% discount then add the naan in". I said i dont want any Naan if i have to pay extra only on eating in but takeout is free. so we skipped the Naan. so after 40 minutes we finally received our main course. After that the server never came around asking how the food was or to refill our water. There was never any apology for any mistakes they made and offered no discount. This is the first time since i've started paying for my own meals that i have tipped $0. I will not be returning. read more

Worst experience ever! Got take out yesterday (Feb. 13, 2019) and the dishes were watered down and tasted awful. I called in to ask for a refund or a better dish and was told they will not provide a refund. Very poor customer service and the quality of food has really become worse. I was only offered a new dish if I drove back to the restaurant to pick it up. Unfortunately, I was unable to go back on the same night. I did not get a refund and the manager was extremely rude. I have been coming to this restaurant for years......now I do not plan to ever go back! read more

Unfortunately, this franchise location has gone downhill somewhat. I walked in to have lunch one day, and the lights were turned off! My immediate thought was they were trying to save money. The lunch menu was also gone it was a la Carte all the way. I had dined here several times in the past, and I was very familiar with the broad range of curries and specialty dishes they offered, but the last time I was there quality had gone down hill. It was also expensive, around $25-30 per person for lunch, and I was surprized when I ordered the nan that it was dry, very strange. Very good food, I'm not Indian but seems authentic. To give you the true experience of India they do not have air conditioning (or at least not turned on). 30 degree celsius temperatures, 80% humidity and Indian food do not make for a comfortable dining experience. Service was also very slow. I had somosas and curried lamb. If it wasn't for the delicious food they would have gotten 1 star. read more

Food was good, but the service was bad. Their menu says "free naan or rice with purchase of entree" and when we went to pay they said that "only for the Scarborough location". That is the menu that they give out in Stouffville. They would not honour it and only offered 10% off which wasn't even equivalent to the savings. They would do much better with a lunch buffet as well. I know it's a small space but they don't need much room. The Bombay Grill on Highway 7 is able to with a small space so they should as well. This place was almost empty on a Friday night. There was only one table occupied by a family who we were told, were waiting for quite a while to be served their order. There was only one waitress-cum-cashier-cum-manager trying her best to do it all. She was very honest in informing us that it would be a long wait for our order. So we thanked her for her honesty and left. I wonder why the owners would spend on keeping such a unique Indian restaurant in such a prime location, yet neglect it to such an extent. They should consider converting it to a purely take-out location instead of stinging on the service and kitchen staff. read more

First time diner, and love Indian food, but we had a very mixed experience here. The food was absolutely delicious, but the restaurant failed apart from that. We were the only seated customers, and our food took over an hour to arrive. One appetizer came quickly, but the rest of the meal took over an hour. We were in the restaurant for over 2hours, actual time spent eating took 20 minutes. We did not choose to linger because of the ambiance, the service was just unacceptably slow. I see from other reviews that ours was not a one-off experience. There were several (very displeased) customers waiting for take-out, and many waited for over 45 minutes, after being repeated promised their order would be ready in the next 5 minutes. I realize Indian food prep is complex, but many of these folks had obviously phoned in orders ahead of time. The restaurant was very cold (it is still winter here). It asked politely if they could turn up the heat. The heat did not come on and I ate my meal in my winter coat. Obviously two sit down customers were not worth turning up the temp. The server was also very pushy, encouraging us to order much more food than we needed, saying it would not be enough. We are big eaters, but still took home a second meals worth of leftovers. It was a very disappointing experience, and even though we were offered a discount on our meal, I'm not sure I would return. Perhaps for take out, as the food was good, but definitely not to dine in. I just been to this restaurant food is so so, but the server was very pushy and forcing to order too many dishes. On their website it show they have buffett, when we went there no buffett, she recommended starters, we went for lunch. Starters I told her to bring Somosas and Pakora, we actually ordered one tea and then two other my guest was not interested in Tea, the server forced her to have tea. Paneer Pakora was most expensive i ever had $16.00 plus tax, tea $ 3.50 each, we told her to bring one rice then she said it is too small, she said you need two plates of rice, we hardly had rice from one plate. Jeera rice $ 5.50 each. Butter chicken was very sweet, not worth the money. Over all disappointing experience. Again food was so so, but make the girl server not force on guest to place too many orders. For total 3 people the lunch cost was over $ 100.00 plus tips. Over all not happy at all. Ordered a takeout over the phone and was told it would be ready in 40min. Arrived at the restaurant only to be told it would be another 10min. Waited over 40min before it was ready. Was told they only had one person cooking the other had taken the day off. Must have known this when the order was placed. The food was good but the wait was totally unacceptable - will not be going back. Having read other reviews it seem that being short staffed and long waits of an hour or more is not uncommon. read more

I was eagerly anticipating an exquisite Indian dinner...sadly we waited over an hour for our meal. When we inquired as to how much longer our food would take, we were met with, "not much longer" or " we are short staffed". The hostess wanted to be anywhere but where she actually was. As we were about to leave, our food arrived. It was good, much like the food at the other location. Halfway during our meal, we ordered 3 naans to go. We waited almost an hour for those. When you purchase your meal be sure to tell them if you want the lunch special, because if your not careful they will charge you full dinner price even thought you are there at lunch time, and they have the lunch price posted everywhere for you to think that is the price you are going to get. They also have a special on samosas 3 for $2.00, but if your not care full when they ring up your order they will try to charge you full price, and if you dine in apparently you are charged a higher price for them and other items, but if you were to take it to go the price is cheaper, explain that one? I purchased two butter chicken lunches and ordered it for take out, when I got back to work to eat lunch my college and I only received one small piece of chicken in the bowl, so I basically paid for butter chicken soup. What a rip off. I called in to complain and was told sorry but there was no refund or free anything to compensate for the lack of chicken, and how can it be a mistake when both meals were the same order and both meals only had one piece of chicken. This place is cheep with their portions and try to bait and switch the customer when it comes time to pay for the meal. One guy was there and ate at the diner and when he paid he was charged a dinner, and told the girl it was the lunch special he ordered but she insisted that he received the dinner portion. He also had the butter chicken and mentioned that there was only about 3 or 4 pieces of chicken in this dish. He was there at lunch time and again the paper advertising the lunch special and the price were out, but yet he was charged a dinner price. It is no wonder this place is never busy. read more
