I recently visited India Bazaar, now called Indian Mart, located off Durango with the closest cross street being Russell. I ordered samosas, and they were delicious. Since they don't have an online menu yet, I posted a picture of it. The prices are great, and the vibe is dope. Even though it's very new, they already have a lot in stock, reminiscent of a small version of Rani's World. The staff and owners are awesome. And make sure to take advantage of the free chai while they have it--if you haven't tried authentic chai, this is the spot. Highly recommend checking it out!

I didn't find it here, but I did find $150 worth of everything else. I know what you're thinking. They must be expensive. They're not. In fact, there were so many great deals, I just loaded up my cart. Did you see the big pretty box of teabags in the pics? $10. Wouldn't that make a great gift!? I gifted it to me with many more goodies. Gooseberry jam? Yep! Bulgarian noughats? Yep! Remember those Brach's white square candies with the multicolored jellies in them? They taste like that. $4 for a gift box. I got fresh made Baklava and met the chef- and it turns out we've met before. He makes his Baklava with creamy filling instead of honey. He said his wife prefers that because it's better for you. My husband likes it better because it's not as sweet. I got sausage, kabob meat, crepes, red cabbage, sauerkraut, spatzle, pickles, and so much more. I'm geeked! The store is small but mighty and the staff is warm and kind. Greenland is moderately sized but is overall not kept up very well. It just generally looks kind of dirty and dated inside. It's also extremely cramped with products and boxes in the aisles which makes it hard to get around with your cart. Having said that, they do have a very large selection of Korean products and some Japanese products as well. They have a meat area where you can get some pretty good marinated bulgogi and kalbi to grill at home. They also have a significant selection of fresh Korean side dishes as well. They have a section of small applies as well such as rice cookers. Just before you enter the supermarket area itself there is a small Korean food court. Staff are overall pretty variable from friendly and helpful to rather cold and stoic. Overall, this is a decent place for your Korean groceries. I just wish they would maintain the place better.

The market looked like it had more capacity for baking and cooking and "deli" type service, but those areas looked a bit empty. A great selection of spices, teas, jam, jellies, sauces etc. some pre-prepared items such as nuts and grains. A great and well stocked refrigerated and freezer section. I was not looking for halal meat, and maybe I missed the meat section but I didn't see any. What I did see (and bought some) was large flat pita style garlic bread (dense and chewy, great for dipping) and also some traditional Lamejun (Lebanese or Armenian flat bread style pizza) Haven't had any of those since I left the east coast.... They are so tasty. They also had Afghani flat bread. So I stocked up on bread and my car smelled like a middle eastern bakery on the way home.
