Unable to get any information about cost of basic services over the phone. Won't tell me what a dental cleaning and Xray costs, i.e. a very basic service like vaccinations etc. They give the same spiel as many high-cost clinics in the area "we can't give that out over the phone". I am tired of dealing with this business tactic from vets in the area. A few will discuss pricing, but the ones that won't have gotten me in the door in the past and then they gouge you with a huge bill, expecting you to just pay it because you have no other information. Their patient intake form clearly states "AT YOUR REQUEST WE WILL GLADLY DISCUSS COST OF SERVICES and/or PREPARE A WRITTEN ESTIMATE FOR RECOMMENDED PROCEDURES." I recommend you remove that, since it is not true. I am not asking for any written estimate, just basic discussion of cost, which they refuse to provide as a policy. Sadly, this whole process has been incredibly draining. I just want my dog to be well. You may be a good clinic with good practices, but based on the limited info I have, it's not worth it for me to waste 3 hours of my life and subjecting my dog to more exams just so you can get me in the door and then most likely gouge me. read more

I brought my dog to the Indian Street Animal Clinic. They have a new vet that is only looking to take as much money from people as possible! Dr. Amanda Williams is a poor excuse of a vet! When I refused to have a 1000.00 worth of test done. I was told that I should surrender my pet to the humane society if I couldn't afford to pay for the thousand dollars worth of unnecessary test! I brought my pet there bc of a diarrhea problem. The funny thing was, I was the one that had to ask for a fecal test! She wanted to do x-rays and all kinds of tests first to fill up her purse! She didn't even do a fecal test until I insisted that one be done. In which I later found out that he had worms! If you don't have lots of money....don't go to this vet! I later called and asked to speak with Dr. Zinderman the other vet and they refused to allow me to speak with him and of course he never called me back. read more

Poor Service. Novice understaff. Doctor refused to answer direct questions I asked him opting to ignore me. And apparently he has friends at Yelp because this is the 3rd time I've Reviewed him. They keep Removing my Reviews which speak only of content about the Service received. Maybe if he answered my direct questions, or treated me in a professional manner I would not have had to resort to Yelp. And shame on Yelp for discriminating my legitimate feedback. read more

Everyone here is very caring. We switched from another vet many years ago because they could not diagnose a skin condition of my big dog .. Dr Zinderman is very compassionate and very good. I have been going here for over 10 years and have been very happy with him and his entire staff. They always call the day after a visit to check on the animals. read more

I am sad to see the poor reviews. My senior cat was treated with kindness (as were we) and respect. She received good care, and at the end, despite the trauma of having her get very sick very quickly and ultimately having to put her down, Dr. Amanda and the staff did their best to make it easier on us. If we get another pet, we will gladly go back to Indian Street. read more

I feel I was given terrible advice and taken advantage of due to my emotional state over the health of my senior dog. I signed a contract that I shouldn't have and I since have had to put my dog to sleep and I still can not get out of my contract. I would not recommend them. I contacted the rescue organization after my bad experience at Indian Street and they recommended a different vet and thankfully they helped me give peace and comfort to my beloved senior. read more

Indian Street Animal Clinic has the best vet and staff. It is a joy to take my dog in whether it be her wellness visits, her check-up xrays or a dental cleaning. The team treats her like she is family. And they are always cheerful and open with their love for my dog! She is very nervous about driving in the car and even more so when she is apart from me. The team do an amazing job keeping her calm and feeling loved. They are absolute lifesavers. And side note, their pet insurance plan is AMAZING!! I know no matter what happens to my dog she is taken care of. If you are waffling about whether or not to get it, it is worth it! Me and my cat bailey have been coming to dr. Zindreman since my cat was 6 weeks. We have always gotten the best possible treatment and advise and he really cares about the animals. The entire staff at the clinic is just wonderful to talk to and they know us like family and I love that about them. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else with my animals. read more

I have been to many vets in the past 3 1/2 years with my pup. And never felt comfortable with the way other vets have made me feel about wanting to feed a proper raw diet, and using more hollistic approaches. As long as you are doing it properly this place is so accepting and understanding with your wishes. The staff that I spoke to with the many questions I have had through email, phone and in person were always so nice and patient with me. I finally made the visit today ( I live in Saint lucie west) and glad I made the drive to come here bc I feel more safe here and that it's the right place to be with my dog. Visit was wonderful and I dont fear so much going back. The Dr. Came out within 10 mins or so after they took in my pup to tell me that he looks great and healthy ( which helped calm my nerves, no vet has ever done that), and asked if I had any other questions while his exam was being finished. I didn't feel rushed or judged he was so amazing. We were in and out. I def recommend going to this vet thank you all! read more

This is a great place to bring your pet they are awesome I have a Saint Bernard they handled him with great care. Note he weighs more than the staff but they handled him no problem. I would highly recommend them the doc is great as well as his staff read more

Had a great meet and greet and enrolled in their wellness plan. Super sweet staff that took the time to get to know and make my somewhat shy pup comfortable. Saw another reviewer say something about them seeming to have a "black dog racism" attitude but my dog is black and did not have that experience at all. Glad all reviews aren't true. My dog Yogi Bear, a black("no black dog racism") Pomeranian has been going to Dr. Zinderman since he opened his practice. She is almost 15 yrs old. We love Dr. Z, he is caring and a great Dr. I love the small practice feel like your dog is #1. Of course she is! She is not the easiest patient but he is always soooo patient with her, Just over a year ago he diagnosed her heart condition she is still going strong. We can't thank Gary enough for saving our mini doxie Daisy. She had slipped a disc in her T10 and became fully paralyzed in less then 12 hours . We took her to a vet close to us and they didn't have much hope in her ever walking again with or without the surgery which raged from 3500-4500 dollars. We kept her there with them so she could have 24 hr steroid blast IV this happen on March 9 2014 she was in they're Client from Monday to Thursday. If there was no changes by then they had said we most likely need to put her down. To us that was just no option she is very young at 5 yrs old and has been a great dog we were going to do anything we could to save her. On Wednesday night I had done a lot of research of her problem and came across a lot of stories of other people who had gone thru or was going thru the same thing some had done surgery and some not. The ones that hadn't had done acupuncture and had great success with it. Well we just so happen to know Gray from the past and he had done some acupuncture work on horses we've had and it had help them out so we thought it's worth a shot let's call him and see if he would be willing to do her and if he thought it was a good option. So we called right away he said he has had success with it and to bring her as soon as we can . Now his Clinic is an hour away from us but it was pretty much our last option and he was very reassuring that this could work so we went. She had 4 treatments after each treatment she started showing improvements. She went from no deep pain to having it to not being able to stand to standing on her own for a few seconds then she had lifted a hind leg to scratch behind her ear to waging her tail and then started to get up on her own and walking a few steps. By the time we took her in for her 4th acupuncture treatment she went from me carrying her in to walking in on her own now she runs and plays as if nothing ever happen she will wobble a little once in awhile , but going from a vet clinic saying she will never walk again and even if she does it maybe at a 15% walk ability to a vet like Gary who gave us hope and now walks and runs it's truly amazing what this man did for her and us. I recommend anyone to go to him for anything he really is a miracle and wonderful person and so is his staff they're very caring and passionate about they're job and love your animal as if they were there own... Thank you again Gary for what you did for her you gave her a second chance on life and we are very Grateful for all you had done for us and helping us thru this we don't know what we would've done without you. I have been taking my dog to Indian Street Animal Clinic since he was a puppy and I couldn't be happier with the level of service provided by Dr. Zinderman and his staff. Dr. Zinderman is very kind, experienced and offers great prices. The receptionists and techs are extremely welcoming, accommodating and just great to deal with.
